For RK3399 HDMI, there is an external clock need for HDMI PHY,
and it should keep the same clock rate with VOP DCLK.
VPLL have supported the clock for HDMI PHY, but there is no
clock divider bewteen VPLL and HDMI PHY. So we need to set the
VPLL rate manually in HDMI driver.

An unusually big pull request for this merge window, with three notable
features:
- V3s display engine support. This is especially notable because it uses
a different display engine used on the newer Allwinner SoCs (H3, A64
and the likes) that will be quite easily supported now.
- HDMI support for the old Allwinner SoCs. This is enabled only on the
A10s for now, but should be really easy to extend to deal with A10, A20
and A31
- Preliminary work to deal with dual-pipeline SoCs (A10, A20, A31, H3,
etc.). It currently ignores the second pipeline, but we can use the
dual-pipelines bindings. This will be useful to enable the display
pipeline while we work on the dual-pipeline.

The Allwinner Timings Controller has two, mutually exclusive, channels.
When the binding has been introduced, it was assumed that there would be
only a single user per channel in the system.
While this is likely for the channel 0 which only connects to LCD displays,
it turns out that the channel 1 can be connected to multiple controllers in
the SoC (HDMI and TV encoders for example). And while the simultaneous use
of HDMI and TV outputs cannot be achieved, switching from one to the other
at runtime definitely sounds plausible.
Add an extra property, allwinner,tcon-channel, to specify for a given
endpoint which TCON channel it is connected to, while falling back to the
previous mechanism if that property is missing.

The Allwinner display pipeline contains many hardware components, some
of which can consume data from one of multiple upstream components.
The numbering scheme of these components must be encoded into the device
tree so the driver can figure out which component out of two or more of
the same type it is supposed to use or program.
This patch adds the constraint that local endpoint IDs must be the index
or number of the remote endpoint's hardware block, for all components
in the display pipeline up to the TCONs.

We're adding ability to cross-include DT files between arm and arm64,
by creating appropriate links in the dt-include directory, and using arm/
and arm64/ as include prefixes. This will avoid other local hacks such as
per-file links between the two arch trees (this broke for external mirroring
of DT contents). Now they can just provide their own appropriate dt-include
hierarcy per platform.

This contains various fixes to the host1x driver as well as a plug for a
leak of kernel pointers to userspace.
A fairly big addition this time around is the Video Image Composer (VIC)
support that can be used to accelerate some 2D and image compositing
operations.
Furthermore the driver now supports FB modifiers, so we no longer rely
on a custom IOCTL to set those.
Finally this contains a few preparatory patches for Tegra186 support
which unfortunately didn't quite make it this time, but will hopefully
be ready for v4.13.

Merge tag 'doc-4.11-images' of git://git.lwn.net/linux into drm-misc-next
Pointer for Markus's image conversion work.
We need this so we can merge all the pretty drm graphs for 4.12.
Signed-off-by: Daniel Vetter <daniel.vetter@intel.com>
First slice of drm-misc-next for 4.12:
Core/subsystem-wide:
- link status core patch from Manasi, for signalling link train fail
to userspace. I also had the i915 patch in here, but that had a
small buglet in our CI, so reverted.
- more debugfs_remove removal from Noralf, almost there now (Noralf
said he'll try to follow up with the stragglers).
- drm todo moved into kerneldoc, for better visibility (see
Documentation/gpu/todo.rst), lots of starter tasks in there.
- devm_ of helpers + use it in sti (from Ben Gaignard, acked by Rob
Herring)
- extended framebuffer fbdev support (for fbdev flipping), and vblank
wait ioctl fbdev support (Maxime Ripard)
- misc small things all over, as usual
- add vblank callbacks to drm_crtc_funcs, plus make lots of good use
of this to simplify drivers (Shawn Guo)
- new atomic iterator macros to unconfuse old vs. new state
Small drivers:
- vc4 improvements from Eric
- vc4 kerneldocs (Eric)!
- tons of improvements for dw-mipi-dsi in rockchip from John Keeping
and Chris Zhong.
- MAINTAINERS entries for drivers managed in drm-misc. It's not yet
official, still an experiment, but definitely not complete fail and
better to avoid confusion. We kinda screwed that up with drm-misc a
bit when we started committers last year.
- qxl atomic conversion (Gabriel Krisman)
- bunch of virtual driver polish (qxl, virgl, ...)
- misc tiny patches all over
This is the first time we've done the same merge-window blackout for
drm-misc as we've done for drm-intel for ages, hence why we have a
_lot_ of stuff queued already. But it's still only half of drm-intel
(room to grow!), and the drivers in drm-misc experiment seems to work
at least insofar as that you also get lots of driver updates here
alredy.

Merge tag 'drm-for-v4.11-less-shouty' of git://people.freedesktop.org/~airlied/linux
Pull drm updates from Dave Airlie:
"This is the main drm pull request for v4.11.
Nothing too major, the tinydrm and mmu-less support should make
writing smaller drivers easier for some of the simpler platforms, and
there are a bunch of documentation updates.
Intel grew displayport MST audio support which is hopefully useful to
people, and FBC is on by default for GEN9+ (so people know where to
look for regressions). AMDGPU has a lot of fixes that would like new
firmware files installed for some GPUs.
Other than that it's pretty scattered all over.
I may have a follow up pull request as I know BenH has a bunch of AST

In the SoC branch we normally collect classic arch/arm/mach-* contents, i.e.
C code changes for SoC platforms. This release cycle the diffstat is quite
nice, in that we're removing 3x the amount of code that's being added.
The main reason for this is that there's a removal of camera drivers for
Freescale i.MX chips (driver was removed so the device registration isn't
needed any more). There's also removal of display initialization code for OMAP
that is no longer needed.
The rest are mostly minor tweaks and cleanups; constification on Samsung
platforms, cleanup of ux500 platform data, purge of other unused platform
data/device seutp on i.MX and other good stuff.
New SoC support this cycle is for two Allwinner platforms, H2+ and V3s.

Make reset gpio devicetree property optional. Depending on the board
designing there may not be a dedicated gpio for resetting the
display. Without a proper reset there may be some junk in the display
memory at probe time, so in such a case the display memory is cleared
before turning it on. The devicetree binding document is also updated.

The original way we determined the gpu version was based on downstream
bindings from android kernel. A cleaner way is to get the version from
the compatible string.
Note that no upstream dtb uses these bindings. But the code still
supports falling back to the legacy bindings (with a warning), so that
we are still compatible with the gpu dt node from android device
kernels.

The plan is to use the OPP bindings. For now, remove the documentation
for qcom,gpu-pwrlevels, and make the driver fall back to a safe low
clock if the node is not present.
Note that no upstream dtb use this node. For now we keep compatibility
with this node to avoid breaking compatibility with downstream android

First -misc pull for 4.11:
- drm_mm rework + lots of selftests (Chris Wilson)
- new connector_list locking+iterators
- plenty of kerneldoc updates
- format handling rework from Ville
- atomic helper changes from Maarten for better plane corner-case handling
in drivers, plus the i915 legacy cursor patch that needs this
- bridge cleanup from Laurent
- plus plenty of small stuff all over
- also contains a merge of the 4.10 docs tree so that we could apply the
dma-buf kerneldoc patches
It's a lot more than usual, but due to the merge window blackout it also
covers about 4 weeks, so all in line again on a per-week basis. The more
annoying part with no pull request for 4 weeks is managing cross-tree
work. The -intel pull request I'll follow up with does conflict quite a
bit with -misc here. Longer-term (if drm-misc keeps growing) a
drm-next-queued to accept pull request for the next merge window during
this time might be useful.
I'd also like to backmerge -rc2+this into drm-intel next week, we have
quite a pile of patches waiting for the stuff in here.
