Pull more drm updates from Dave Airlie:
"Fixes/cleanups for rc1, non-desktop flags for VR
- remove the MSM dt-bindings file Rob managed to push in the previous
pull.
- add a property/edid quirk to denote HMD devices, I had these
hanging around for a few weeks and Keith had done some work on
them, they are fairly self contained and small, and only affect
people using HTC Vive VR headsets so far.
- amdgpu, tegra, tilcdc, fsl fixes
- some imx-drm cleanups I missed, these seemed pretty small, and no
reason to hold off.
I have one TTM regression fix (fixes bochs-vga in qemu) sitting
locally awaiting review I'll probably send that in a separate pull
request tomorrow"

- Renasas r8a7745 based iWave G22D-SODIMM SoM
- Rockchip rk3288 based Amarula Vyasa single-board computer
- Samsung Exynos5800 based Odroid HC1 single-board computer
For existing SoC support, there was a lot of ongoing work, as usual
most of that concentrated on the Renesas, Rockchip, OMAP, i.MX, Amlogic
and Allwinner platforms, but others were also active.
Rob Herring and many others worked on reducing the number of issues that
the latest version of 'dtc' now warns about. Unfortunately there is still
a lot left to do.
A rework of the ARM foundation model introduced several new files
for common variations of the model.

Now that drm/msm is converted over to use msm_get_clk() everywhere (that
matters), which handles falling back to looking for a clock with the
"_clk" suffix, we can remove "_clk" from the documentation so that new
dts files added do not include "_clk" in the name.
Previously we were doing this for the more recently upstreamed bindings
but not for (nearly) all.

This contains a bit of cleanup and some minor fixes for the host1x and
Tegra DRM drivers. There's also some more preparatory work for Tegra186
support which I'm not quite ready to send upstream because the GPIO
driver needed for HDMI support has been stuck for months, and we can't
do much without it. Hopefully that driver will land in v4.15, which
would mean we could go ahead with Tegra186 display support in v4.16.

SiI9234 transmitter converts eTMDS/HDMI signal to MHL 1.0.
It is controlled via I2C bus. Its interaction with other
devices in video pipeline is performed mainly on HW level.
The only interaction it does on device driver level is
filtering-out unsupported video modes, it exposes drm_bridge
interface to perform this operation.

Pretty much any node can have a status property, so it doesn't need to
be in examples.
Converted with the following command and removed examples with SoC and
board specific splits:
git grep -l -E 'status.*=.*' Documentation/devicetree/ | xargs sed -i -E '/\sstatus.*=.*"(disabled|ok|okay)/d'

Seiko 43WVF1G panel has two power supplies: avdd and dvdd and they
require a specific power on/down sequence.
For this reason the simple panel driver cannot be used to drive this
panel, so create a new one heavily based on simple panel.

The parallel display device tree binding documentation incorrectly lists
the interface-pix-fmt property with underscores ("interface_pix_fmt").
This was never supported by any driver, and the DT example in the same
file always contained the correct spelling ("interface-pix-fmt").
See commit 19022aaae6 ("staging: drm/imx: Add parallel display
support") and commit 2d62da8ebd ("staging: drm/imx: Add devicetree

On some R-Car SoCs a single VSP can serve multiple DU channels through
multiple LIF instances in the VSP. The current DT bindings don't support
specifying that kind of SoC integration scheme. Extend them with a VSP
channel index.
Backward compatibility can be ensured in drivers by checking the length
of the vsps property and setting the channel to 0 when the property
doesn't contain channel indices.

ALSA SoC needs to know connected DAI ID for probing. Using
the new audio-card-graph approach, ports/endpoints are used
to describe how the links are connected. Unfortunately, since
ports/endpoints are used as well for video linkages, there
are some issues mixing the port ids to the two (video and
audio) namespaces.
To solve this issue, this patch adds new .get_dai_id callback
on hdmi_codec_ops.
The will assume that HDMI audio out will be connected to
reg = <2>. This will then be remapped to the ALSA SoC side will
as DAI 0. Allowing the adv7511's hdmi audio support to be used
with the audio-card-graph.
Credit to Kuninori Morimoto who's patch to dw-hdmi-i2s-audio.c
was what this was mostly copy-pasted from.
