01081f5ab9 coresight: moving to new "hwtracing" directory
Keeping drivers related to HW tracing on ARM, i.e coresight,
under "drivers/coresight" doesn't make sense when other
architectures start rolling out technologies of the same
nature.

As such creating a new "drivers/hwtracing" directory where all
drivers of the same kind can reside, reducing namespace
pollution under "drivers/".

3288731e62 coresight: Adding coresight support for arm64 architecture
Most CoreSight blocks are 64-bit ready. As such move configuration
entries from "arch/arm/Kconfig.config" to the driver's subdirectory
and source the newly created Kconfig from architecture specific
Kconfig.debug files.

c0c89fafa2 ARM: Remove mach-msm and associated ARM architecture code
The maintainers for mach-msm no longer have any plans to support
or test the platforms supported by this architecture[1]. Most likely
there aren't any active users of this code anyway, so let's
delete it.

Remove support for the legacy Cortex-A8 based sh7372 SoC.

The Linux kernel still lacks DT bindings for the sh7372 INTC
interrupt controller so DT multiplatform support is not possibile.

Also, the sh7372 SoC never went into mass production anyway so to
aid migration to DT multiplatform simply get rid of sh7372 support.

878ba61aa9 ARM: SoC platform changes
New and updated SoC support. Also included are some cleanups where the
platform maintainers hadn't separated cleanups from new developent in
 separate branches.

Some of the larger things worth pointing out:

 - A large set of changes from Alexandre Belloni and Nicolas Ferre
preparing at91 platforms for multiplatform and cleaning up quite a
   bit in the process.
 - Removal of CSR's "Marco" SoC platform that never made it out to the
market. We love seeing these since it means the vendor published
support before product was out, which is exactly what we want!

 New platforms this release are:

 - Conexant Digicolor (CX92755 SoC)
 - Hisilicon HiP01 SoC
 - CSR/sirf Atlas7 SoC
 - ST STiH418 SoC
 - Common code changes for Nvidia Tegra132 (64-bit SoC)

We're seeing more and more platforms having a harder time labelling
changes as cleanups vs new development -- which is a good sign that
we've come quite far on the cleanup effort. So over time we might start
combining the cleanup and new-development branches more.

a61cbf51f0 ARM: 8274/1: Fix DEBUG_LL for multi-platform kernels (without PL01X)
When building a multi_v7_defconfig kernel it is not possible to configure
DEBUG_LL to use any serial device except a ARM Primecell PL01X, or more
accurately and worse, it is possible to configure a different serial
device but KConfig does not honour this request. In fact this also
overrides the user selection for some of the single platform kernels, for
example I don't think DEBUG_LL can be targeted at ICE or semihosted
supervisor for ARCH_VERSATILE.

This happens because DEBUG_UART_PL01X is automatically enabled by
some architectures and this means user decisions made regarding
the DEBUG_LL backend will be overridden. Problem is fixed by removing the
automatic enabling of this option.

d02fde7fc0 ARM: 8273/1: Seperate DEBUG_UART_PHYS from DEBUG_LL on EP93XX
On EP93XX uncompress.h uses CONFIG_DEBUG_UART_PHYS instead of a hard
coded serial port. This means the build breaks when DEBUG_LL
(and DEBUG_LL_UART_PL01X) is not enabled.

This is fixed by adding a new dependency.

c26b999353 ARM: 8271/1: omap1: Migrate debug_ll macros to use 8250.S
The omap1's debug-macro.S is similar to the generic 8250 code. Compared to
the 8520 code the omap1 macro automatically determines what UART to use
based on breadcrumbs left by the bootloader and automatically copes with
the eccentric register layout on OMAP7XX.

This patch drops both these features and relies instead on the generic
8250 macros:

1. Dropping support for the bootloader breadcrumbs is identical to the
way the migration was handled for OMAP2 (see 808b7e07464d...).

2. Support for OMAP7XX still exists but it must be configured by hand
(DEBUG_OMAP7XXUART1/2/3) rather than handled at runtime.

7a2071c58f ARM: shmobile: Add early debugging support using SCIF(A)
Add serial port debug macros for the SCIF(A) serial ports.
This includes all supported shmobile SoCs, except for EMEV2.

The configuration logic (both Kconfig and #ifdef) is more complicated than
one would expect, for several reasons:
  1. Not all SoCs have the same serial devices, and they're not always
     at the same addresses.
  2. There are two different types: SCIF and SCIFA. Fortunately they can
easily be distinguished by physical address.
  3. Not all boards use the same serial port for the console.
The defaults correspond to the boards that are supported in
mainline. If you want to use a different serial port, just change
the value of CONFIG_DEBUG_UART_PHYS, and the rest will auto-adapt.
  4. debug_ll_io_init() maps the SCIF(A) registers to a fixed virtual
address. 0xfdxxxxxx was chosen, as it should lie below VMALLOC_END
= 0xff000000, and must not conflict with the 2 MiB reserved region
     at PCI_IO_VIRT_BASE = 0xfee00000.
       - On SoCs not using the legacy machine_desc.map_io(),
debug_ll_io_init() is called by the ARM core code.
       - On SoCs using the legacy machine_desc.map_io(),
debug_ll_io_init() must be called explicitly. Calls are added
	 for r8a7740, r8a7779, sh7372, and sh73a0.

This was derived from the r8a7790 version by Laurent Pinchart.

a06ae8609b coresight: add CoreSight core layer framework
CoreSight components are compliant with the ARM CoreSight
architecture specification and can be connected in various
topologies to suit a particular SoC tracing needs. These trace
components can generally be classified as sources, links and
sinks. Trace data produced by one or more sources flows through
the intermediate links connecting the source to the currently
selected sink.

The CoreSight framework provides an interface for the CoreSight trace
drivers to register themselves with. It's intended to build up a
topological view of the CoreSight components and configure the
correct serie of components on user input via sysfs.

For eg., when enabling a source, the framework builds up a path
consisting of all the components connecting the source to the
currently selected sink(s) and enables all of them.

The framework also supports switching between available sinks
and provides status information to user space applications
through the debugfs interface.

cde7fc8799 ARM: pxa: fix hang on startup with DEBUG_LL
The commit 2111667b46 ("ARM: pxa: call debug_ll_io_init for
earlyprintk") triggers in the current kernel the attached backtrace on
PXA/tosa early in the boot time when DEBUG_LL is enabled.

It is due to overlap between uart virtual memory defined in
DEBUG_UART_VIRT and mapped by debug_ll_io_init() and peripheral bus
mapped by pxa_map_io at the same address, 0xf2100000.

As hinted by Arnd, map early virtual memory for low level debug on
address 0xf6200000, even if that means 2 virtual mappings will give
access to the pxa internal UARTs (FFUART, BTUART, STUART, ...).

d4e1f5a14e ARM: SoC device-tree changes for 3.17
Unlike the board branch, this keeps having large sets of changes for
every release, but that's quite expected and is so far working well.

Most of this is plumbing for various device bindings and new platforms,
but there's also a bit of cleanup and code removal for things that
are moved from platform code to DT contents (some OMAP clock code in
 particular).

There's also a pinctrl driver for tegra here (appropriately acked),
that's introduced this way to make it more bisectable.

I'm happy to say that there were no conflicts at all with this branch
this release, which means that changes are flowing through our tree as
expected instead of merged through driver maintainers (or at least not
 done with conflicts).

There are several new boards added, and a couple of SoCs. In no particular
 order:

 * Rockchip RK3288 SoC support, including DTS for a dev board that they
have seeded with some community developers.
 * Better support for Hardkernel Exynos4-based ODROID boards.
 * CCF conversions (and dtsi contents) for several Renesas platforms.
 * Gumstix Pepper (TI AM335x) board support
 * TI eval board support for AM437x
 * Allwinner A23 SoC, very similar to existing ones which mostly has
resulted in DT changes for support. Also includes support for an Ippo
   tablet with the chipset.
 * Allwinner A31 Hummingbird board support, not to be confused with the
   SolidRun i.MX-based Hummingboard.
 * Tegra30 Apalis board support

aa9c4f740d ARM: rockchip: clarify usability of DEBUG_RK3X_UART debug_ll options
The debug uart settings from the DEBUG_RK3X_UART options are usable on
all Rockchip SoCs from the rk30xx and rk31xx series but not on the

fe388fac0f Samsung Exynos updates for 3.16
- add new SoCs support
   : exynos3250, 5260, 5410 and 5800

Note that this requires tags/samsung-cleanup and tags/samsung-clk-2
because of mostly migration exynos specific macros into mach-exynos
 and exynos related Kconfig entries.

One more merge conflict happens in arch/arm/Kconfig for ARCH_EXYNOS
due to SRAM stuff, even though tried to sort them out. Since just
resolving it would be better I think, please remove ARCH_EXYNOS in
 arch/arm/Kconfig when merge conflict happens.

2bf73dd61a ARM: SoC: late cleanups
These could not be part of the first cleanup branch, because they either
came too late in the cycle, or they have dependencies on other branches.
 Important changes are:

 * The integrator platform is almost multiplatform capable after
   some reorganization (Linus Walleij)
 * Minor cleanups on Zynq (Michal Simek)
 * Lots of changes for Exynos and other Samsung platforms, including
further preparations for multiplatform support and the clocks bindings

The tnetv107x support does not compile, and seems to have been broken

If someone finds a use for this code later and is able to get it
to work again, we can always revert the removal.
