4d370a1036 crypto: caam - change return code in caam_jr_enqueue function
Based on commit 6b80ea389a ("crypto: change transient busy return code to -ENOSPC"),
change the return code of caam_jr_enqueue function to -EINPROGRESS, in
case of success, -ENOSPC in case the CAAM is busy (has no space left
in job ring queue), -EIO if it cannot map the caller's descriptor.

Update, also, the cases for resource-freeing for each algorithm type.

This is done for later use, on backlogging support in CAAM.

2ba1e79831 crypto: caam - refactor ahash_edesc_alloc
Changed parameters for ahash_edesc_alloc function:
- remove flags since they can be computed in
ahash_edesc_alloc, the only place they are needed;
- use ahash_request instead of caam_hash_ctx, to be
able to compute gfp flags.

674f368a95 crypto: remove CRYPTO_TFM_RES_BAD_KEY_LEN
The CRYPTO_TFM_RES_BAD_KEY_LEN flag was apparently meant as a way to
make the ->setkey() functions provide more information about errors.

However, no one actually checks for this flag, which makes it pointless.

Also, many algorithms fail to set this flag when given a bad length key.
Reviewing just the generic implementations, this is the case for
aes-fixed-time, cbcmac, echainiv, nhpoly1305, pcrypt, rfc3686, rfc4309,
rfc7539, rfc7539esp, salsa20, seqiv, and xcbc. But there are probably
many more in arch/*/crypto/ and drivers/crypto/.

Some algorithms can even set this flag when the key is the correct
length. For example, authenc and authencesn set it when the key payload
is malformed in any way (not just a bad length), the atmel-sha and ccree
drivers can set it if a memory allocation fails, and the chelsio driver
sets it for bad auth tag lengths, not just bad key lengths.

So even if someone actually wanted to start checking this flag (which
seems unlikely, since it's been unused for a long time), there would be
a lot of work needed to get it working correctly. But it would probably
be much better to go back to the drawing board and just define different
return values, like -EINVAL if the key is invalid for the algorithm vs.
-EKEYREJECTED if the key was rejected by a policy like "no weak keys".
That would be much simpler, less error-prone, and easier to test.

So just remove this flag.

e9b4913a5f crypto: caam - fix MDHA key derivation for certain user key lengths
Fuzz testing uncovered an issue when |user key| > |derived key|.
Derived key generation has to be fixed in two cases:

1. Era >= 6 (DKP is available)
DKP cannot be used with immediate input key if |user key| > |derived key|,
since the resulting descriptor (after DKP execution) would be invalid -
having a few bytes from user key left in descriptor buffer
as incorrect opcodes.

Fix DKP usage both in standalone hmac and in authenc algorithms.
For authenc the logic is simplified, by always storing both virtual
and dma key addresses.

2. Era < 6
The same case (|user key| > |derived key|) fails when DKP
is not available.
Make sure gen_split_key() dma maps max(|user key|, |derived key|),
since this is an in-place (bidirectional) operation.

059d73eea6 crypto: caam - use len instead of nents for bulding HW S/G table
Currently, conversion of SW S/G table into HW S/G layout relies on
nents returned by sg_nents_for_len(sg, len).
However this leaves the possibility of HW S/G referencing more data
then needed: since buffer length in HW S/G entries is filled using
sg_dma_len(sg), the last entry in HW S/G table might have a length
that is bigger than needed for the crypto request.

This way of S/G table conversion is fine, unless after converting a table
more entries have to be appended to the HW S/G table.
In this case, crypto engine would access data from the S/G entry having
the incorrect length, instead of advancing in the S/G table.
This situation doesn't exist, but the upcoming implementation of
IV update for skcipher algorithms needs to add a S/G entry after
req->dst S/G (corresponding to output IV).

6e00550319 crypto: caam - print debug messages at debug level
The CAAM driver used to put its debug messages inside #ifdef DEBUG and
then prints the messages at KERN_ERR level. Replace this with proper
functions printing at KERN_DEBUG level. The #ifdef DEBUG gets
unnecessary when the right functions are used.

This replaces:

- print_hex_dump(KERN_ERR ...) inside #ifdef DEBUG with
  print_hex_dump_debug(...)
- dev_err() inside #ifdef DEBUG with dev_dbg()
- printk(KERN_ERR ...) inside #ifdef DEBUG with dev_dbg()

Some parts of the driver use these functions already, so it is only
consequent to use the debug function consistently.

1b46c90c8e crypto: caam - convert top level drivers to libraries
Currently we allow top level code, i.e. that which sits between the
low level (HW-specific) drivers and crypto API, to be built as several
drivers: caamalg, caamhash, caam_pkc, caamrng, caamalg_qi.

There is no advantage in this, more it interferes with adding support
for deferred probing (there are no corresponding devices and thus
no bus).

Convert these drivers and call init() / exit() manually at the right
time.
Move algorithms initialization at JR probe / remove time:
-the first probed JR registers the crypto algs
-the last removed JR unregisters the crypto algs

Note: caam_qi_init() is called before JR platform devices creation
(of_populate_bus()), such that QI interface is initialized when
the caam/qi algorithms are registered in the JR driver (by calling
caam_qi_algapi_init().

While here, fix the Kconfig entries under CRYPTO_DEV_FSL_CAAM_JR

a5e5c13398 crypto: caam - fix S/G table passing page boundary
According to CAAM RM:
-crypto engine reads 4 S/G entries (64 bytes) at a time,
even if the S/G table has fewer entries
-it's the responsibility of the user / programmer to make sure
this HW behaviour has no side effect

The drivers do not take care of this currently, leading to IOMMU faults
when the S/G table ends close to a page boundary - since only one page
is DMA mapped, while CAAM's DMA engine accesses two pages.

Fix this by rounding up the number of allocated S/G table entries
to a multiple of 4.
Note that in case of two *contiguous* S/G tables, only the last table
might needs extra entries.

The cause is that the struct ahash_request *req is created as a
stack-local variable up in the stack (presumably somewhere in the IMA
implementation), then passed down into the CAAM driver, which tries to
dma_single_map the req->result (indirectly via map_seq_out_ptr_result)
in order to make that buffer available for the CAAM to store the result
of the following hash operation.

The calling code doesn't know how req will be used by the CAAM driver,
and there could be other such occurrences where stack memory is passed
down to the CAAM driver. Therefore we should rather fix this issue in
the CAAM driver where the requirements are known."

Fix this problem by:
-instructing the crypto engine to write the final hash in state->caam_ctx
-subsequently memcpy-ing the final hash into req->result

c87a405e3b crypto: ahash - remove useless setting of cra_type
Some ahash algorithms set .cra_type = &crypto_ahash_type. But this is
redundant with the C structure type ('struct ahash_alg'), and
crypto_register_ahash() already sets the .cra_type automatically.
Apparently the useless assignment has just been copy+pasted around.

So, remove the useless assignment from all the ahash algorithms.

This patch shouldn't change any actual behavior.

7e0880b9fb crypto: caam - add Derived Key Protocol (DKP) support
Offload split key generation in CAAM engine, using DKP.
DKP is supported starting with Era 6.

Note that the way assoclen is transmitted from the job descriptor
to the shared descriptor changes - DPOVRD register is used instead
of MATH3 (where available), since DKP protocol thrashes the MATH
registers.

The replacement of MDHA split key generation with DKP has the side
effect of the crypto engine writing the authentication key, and thus
the DMA mapping direction for the buffer holding the key has to change
from DMA_TO_DEVICE to DMA_BIDIRECTIONAL.
There are two cases:
-key is inlined in descriptor - descriptor buffer mapping changes
-key is referenced - key buffer mapping changes

7459e1d25f crypto: caam - fix signals handling
Driver does not properly handle the case when signals interrupt
wait_for_completion_interruptible():
-it does not check for return value
-completion structure is allocated on stack; in case a signal interrupts
the sleep, it will go out of scope, causing the worker thread
(caam_jr_dequeue) to fail when it accesses it

wait_for_completion_interruptible() is replaced with uninterruptable
wait_for_completion().
We choose to block all signals while waiting for I/O (device executing
the split key generation job descriptor) since the alternative - in
order to have a deterministic device state - would be to flush the job
ring (aborting *all* in-progress jobs).

944c3d4dca crypto: caam - fix state buffer DMA (un)mapping
If we register the DMA API debug notification chain to
receive platform bus events:
    dma_debug_add_bus(&platform_bus_type);
we start receiving warnings after a simple test like "modprobe caam_jr &&
modprobe caamhash && modprobe -r caamhash && modprobe -r caam_jr":
platform ffe301000.jr: DMA-API: device driver has pending DMA allocations while released from device [count=1938]
One of leaked entries details: [device address=0x0000000173fda090] [size=63 bytes] [mapped with DMA_TO_DEVICE] [mapped as single]

It turns out there are several issues with handling buf_dma (mapping of buffer
holding the previous chunk smaller than hash block size):
-detection of buf_dma mapping failure occurs too late, after a job descriptor
using that value has been submitted for execution
-dma mapping leak - unmapping is not performed in all places: for e.g.
in ahash_export or in most ahash_fin* callbacks (due to current back-to-back
implementation of buf_dma unmapping/mapping)

Fix these by:
-calling dma_mapping_error() on buf_dma right after the mapping and providing
an error code if needed
-unmapping buf_dma during the "job done" (ahash_done_*) callbacks

87ec02e740 crypto: caam - fix error path for ctx_dma mapping failure
In case ctx_dma dma mapping fails, ahash_unmap_ctx() tries to
dma unmap an invalid address:
map_seq_out_ptr_ctx() / ctx_map_to_sec4_sg() -> goto unmap_ctx ->
-> ahash_unmap_ctx() -> dma unmap ctx_dma

There is also possible to reach ahash_unmap_ctx() with ctx_dma
uninitialzed or to try to unmap the same address twice.

Fix these by setting ctx_dma = 0 where needed:
-initialize ctx_dma in ahash_init()
-clear ctx_dma in case of mapping error (instead of holding
the error code returned by the dma map function)
-clear ctx_dma after each unmapping
