As always, this tends to be one of our bigger branches. There are lots of
updates this release, but not that many jumps out as something that needs
more detailed coverage. Some of the highlights are:
- DTs for the new Annapurna Labs Alpine platform
- More graphics DT pieces falling into place on Exynos, bridges, clocks.
- Plenty of DT updates for Qualcomm platforms for various IP blocks
- Some churn on Tegra due to switch-over to tool-generated pinctrl data
- Misc fixes and updates for Atmel at91 platforms
- Various DT updates to add IP block support on Broadcom's Cygnus platforms
- More updates for Renesas platforms as DT support is added for various IP
blocks (IPMMU, display, audio, etc).

DT changes continue to be the bulk of our merge window contents.
We continue to have a large set of changes across the board as new platforms
and drivers are added.
Some of the new platforms are:
- Alphascale ASM9260
- Marvell Armada 388
- CSR Atlas7
- TI Davinci DM816x
- Hisilicon HiP01
- ST STiH418
There have also been some sweeping changes, including relicensing of DTS
contents from GPL to GPLv2+/X11 so that the same files can be reused in
other non-GPL projects more easily. There's also been changes to the
DT Makefile to make it a little less conflict-ridden and churny down
the road.

Renesas sound driver needs #sound-dai-cells settings, but, this usage
is a little bit confusable. It came from ALSA SoC historical reasons.
The sound DAI naming method is different between Single/Multi DAI in
the ALSA framework, and it is used for sound card matching.
And this #sound-dai-cells has relationship to it.
Current SoC dtsi has #sound-dai-cells = <1> as default settings
(= it is assuming that board/platform has multi DAI), and
board/platform side needs to overwrite it if board/platform was single
DAI. This style is more confusable for users.
This patch removes SoC side default settings, and force to set it by
board/platform side.

The DT branch adds a lot of new stuff for additional SoC and board
support. The branch is the largest one and contains 513 out of the
total 972 non-merge arm-soc changesets for 3.19.
Most of the changes are about enabling additional on-chip devices for
existing machines, but there are also an unusual number of new SoC
types being added this time:
* AMLogic Meson8
* ARM Realview in DT mode
* Allwinner A80

existing machines, but there are also an unusual number of new SoC
types being added this time:
- AMLogic Meson8
- ARM Realview in DT mode
- Allwinner A80
- Broadcom BCM47081
- Broadcom Cygnus
- Freescale LS1021A
- Freescale Vybrid 500 series
- Mediatek MT6592, MT8127, MT8135
- STMicroelectronics STiH410
- Samsung Exynos4415
The level of support for the above differs widely, some are just stubs
with nothing more than CPU, memory and a UART, but others are fairly
complete. As usual, these get extended over time.
There are also many new boards getting added, this is the list of
model strings that are showing up in new dts files:
- ARM RealView PB1176
- Altera SOCFPGA Arria 10
- Asus RT-N18U (BCM47081)
- Buffalo WZR-1750DHP (BCM4708)
- Buffalo WZR-600DHP2 (BCM47081)
- Cygnus Enterprise Phone (BCM911360_ENTPHN)
- D-Link DIR-665
- Google Spring
- IGEP COM MODULE Rev. G (TI OMAP AM/DM37x)
- IGEPv2 Rev. F (TI OMAP AM/DM37x)
- LS1021A QDS Board
- LS1021A TWR Board
- LeMaker Banana Pi
- MarsBoard RK3066
- MediaTek MT8127 Moose Board
- MediaTek MT8135 evaluation board
- Mele M3
- Merrii A80 Optimus Board
- Netgear R6300 V2 (BCM4708)
- Nomadik STN8815NHK

- Synology DS414
- TBS2910 Matrix ARM mini PC
- TI AM5728 BeagleBoard-X15
- Toradex Colibri VF50 on Colibri Evaluation Board
- Zynq ZYBO Development Board
Other notable changes include:
- exynos: cleanup of existing dts files
- mvebu: improved pinctrl support for Armada 370/XP

This patch series updates the device tree vendor prefix for
Dialog Semiconductor.
Various methods are currently used throughout the kernel: 'diasemi',
'dialog' and 'dlg'. Others have also been suggested.
This patch set aims to consolidate the usage of the vendor prefix to
use a common standard. The prefix 'dlg' is used.

On r8a7791, i2c6 (aka iic3) doesn't need pinmux, but the koelsch dts
refers to non-existent pinmux configuration data:
pinmux core: sh-pfc does not support function i2c6
sh-pfc e6060000.pfc: invalid function i2c6 in map table
Remove it to fix this.

Add needed information inside CPU0 for the generic cpufreq-cpu0 driver.
- voltage-tolerance = 1%
It reflects the tolerance for the CPU voltage defined inside the OPP
table. Due to the lack of proper OPP definition, use an arbitrary safe
value.
- clock-latency = 300 us
Approximate worst-case latency to do a full DVFS transition for every
OPPs. Due to the lack of HW information, use an arbitrary safe value.
Note: The term transition-latency will be more accurate to define this
value since the clock transition latency is not the only parameter that
will define the overall DVFS transition.
- operating-points = < kHz - uV >
List of 6 operating points. All of them are using the same voltage
since DVS is not supported in R-CAR Gen2.
- clocks
phandle to the CPU clock source. This clock source is used for all the
2 CortexA15 located inside the same cluster.

The CA15 cluster is capable of voltage scaling. Add the regulator
in the i2c6 node, to allow the generic CPUFreq driver to use it.
Enable the i2c6 pin mux and the device node as well since the
da9210 is connected to that bus.
Note: In R-CAR Gen2, each frequency is using the same voltage,
and DVS control is not used. Therefore, this patch set the
voltage(Vmin/Vmax) to 1000mv.

As with previous release, this continues to be among the largest branches
we merge, with lots of new contents.
New things for this release are among other things:
- DTSI contents for the new SoCs supported in 3.16 (see SoC pull request)
- Qualcomm APQ8064 and APQ8084 SoCs and eval boards
- Nvidia Jetson TK1 development board (Tegra T124-based)
Two new SoCs that didn't need enough new platform code to stand out
enough for me to notice when writing the SoC tag, but that adds new DT
contents are:
- TI DRA72
- Marvell Berlin 2Q
