fb95aae6e6 sound updates for 5.6-rc1
As diffstat shows we've had again a lot of works done for this cycle:
 majority of changes are the continued componentization and code
 refactoring in ASoC, the tree-wide PCM API updates and cleanups
 and SOF updates while a few ASoC driver updates are seen, too.

 Here we go, some highlights:

 Core:
 - Finally y2038 support landed to ALSA ABI;
   some ioctls have been extended and lots of tricks were applied
 - Applying the new managed PCM buffer API to all drivers;
   the API itself was already merged in 5.5
 - The already deprecated dimension support in ALSA control API is
   dropped completely now
 - Verification of ALSA control elements to catch API misuses

 ASoC:
 - Further code refactorings and moving things to the component level
 - Lots of updates and improvements on SOF / Intel drivers;
   now including common HDMI driver and SoundWire support
 - New driver support for Ingenic JZ4770, Mediatek MT6660, Qualcomm
   WCD934x and WSA881x, and Realtek RT700, RT711, RT715, RT1011, RT1015
   and RT1308

 HD-audio:
 - Improved ring-buffer communications using waitqueue
 - Drop the superfluous buffer preallocation on x86

 Others:
 - Many code cleanups, mostly constifications over the whole tree
 - USB-audio: quirks for MOTU, Corsair Virtuoso, Line6 Helix
 - FireWire: code refactoring for oxfw and dice drivers

6da2ec5605 treewide: kmalloc() -> kmalloc_array()
The kmalloc() function has a 2-factor argument form, kmalloc_array(). This
patch replaces cases of:

        kmalloc(a * b, gfp)

with:
        kmalloc_array(a * b, gfp)

as well as handling cases of:

        kmalloc(a * b * c, gfp)

with:

        kmalloc(array3_size(a, b, c), gfp)

as it's slightly less ugly than:

        kmalloc_array(array_size(a, b), c, gfp)

This does, however, attempt to ignore constant size factors like:

        kmalloc(4 * 1024, gfp)

though any constants defined via macros get caught up in the conversion.

Any factors with a sizeof() of "unsigned char", "char", and "u8" were
dropped, since they're redundant.

The tools/ directory was manually excluded, since it has its own
implementation of kmalloc().

The Coccinelle script used for this was:

// Fix redundant parens around sizeof().

ac6424b981 sched/wait: Rename wait_queue_t => wait_queue_entry_t
Rename:

	wait_queue_t		=>	wait_queue_entry_t

'wait_queue_t' was always a slight misnomer: its name implies that it's a "queue",
but in reality it's a queue *entry*. The 'real' queue is the wait queue head,
which had to carry the name.

Start sorting this out by renaming it to 'wait_queue_entry_t'.

This also allows the real structure name 'struct __wait_queue' to
lose its double underscore and become 'struct wait_queue_entry',
which is the more canonical nomenclature for such data types.

f3b827e0b1 ALSA: pci: constify snd_kcontrol_new structures
Declare snd_kcontrol_new structures as const as they are only passed as
an argument to the function snd_ctl_new1. This argument is of type
const, so snd_kcontrol_new structures having the same property can be
made const too.
Done using Coccinelle:

6769e988b0 ALSA: constify snd_pcm_ops structures
Check for snd_pcm_ops structures that are only stored in the ops field of a
snd_soc_platform_driver structure or passed as the third argument to
snd_pcm_set_ops. The corresponding field or parameter is declared const,
so snd_pcm_ops structures that have this property can be declared as const
also.

3e41c9b5a1 ALSA: ymfpci: Simplify PM callbacks
This is a similar cleanup like the commit [3db084fd0a: ALSA: fm801:
PCI core handles power state for us].

Since pci_set_power_state(), pci_save_state() and pci_restore_state()
are already done in the PCI core side, so we don't need to it doubly.

Also, pci_enable_device(), pci_disable_device() and pci_set_master()
calls in PM callbacks are superfluous nowadays, too, so get rid of
them as well.
