1e94d710e1 ARM: davinci: dm365-evm: use device properties for at24 eeprom
We want to work towards phasing out the at24_platform_data structure.
There are few users and its contents can be represented using generic
device properties. Using device properties only will allow us to
significantly simplify the at24 configuration code.

Remove the at24_platform_data structure and replace it with an array
of property entries. Drop the byte_len/size property, as the model name
already implies the EEPROM's size.

0922275ef1 ARM: SoC platform updates
SoC updates, mostly refactorings and cleanups of old legacy platforms,
 but also a few more things:

 New SoC support this release:
  - NXP/Freescale i.MX7ULP (1x Cortex-A7, Cortex-M4, graphics, etc)
  - Allwinner F1C100, older platform with an ARM926-EJS (ARMv5) core

 Cleanups of various platforms:
  - OMAP1 ams-delta does some GPIO cleanups
  - Davinci removes of at24 platform data
  - Samsung cleans up old wakeup, PM debug and secondary core boot code
  - Renesas moves around config options and PM code to drivers/soc for
    sharing with 64-bit and more consistency
  - i.MX, Broadcom and SoCFPGA all have tweaks to lowlevel debug console setups
  - SoCFPGA adds explicit selection of ARM errata and removes some unused code

 This tag also contains a few patches that I had queued up as fixes for
 4.20 but didn't send in before the release.

96c081735d ARM: davinci: move davinci_clk_init() to init_time
This moves the call of davinci_clk_init() from map_io to init_time for all
boards.

This is the proper place to init clocks. This is also done in preparation
for moving to the common clock framework.

dm646x is a special case because we need to handle different ref_clk rates
depending on which board is being used. The clock init in this case is
modified to set the rate before registering the clocks instead of using
davinci_set_refclk_rate() to recalculate the entire clock tree after all
of the clocks are registered.

Also, the cpu_clks field is removed from struct davinci_soc_info since it
is no longer needed.

933b11aeed ARM: davinci: fix build break because of undeclared dm365_evm_snd_data
commit 6bce5efd44 ("ARM: davinci: remove unused davinci-i2s pdata")
removed all instances of davinci-i2s pdata. However, on DM365 EVM,
the same platform data is passed to the voicecodec present on that
device.

This causes build breakage when voicecodec support is enabled:

arch/arm/mach-davinci/board-dm365-evm.c:764:17: error: 'dm365_evm_snd_data' undeclared (first use in this function)

voicecodec driver does not use the platform data as well, and

b5dcee225c [media] include/media: split I2C headers from V4L2 core
Currently, include/media is messy, as it contains both the V4L2 core
headers and some driver-specific headers on the same place. That makes
harder to identify what core headers should be documented and what
headers belong to I2C drivers that are included only by bridge/main
drivers that would require the functions provided by them.

Let's move those i2c specific files to its own subdirectory.

The files to move were produced via the following script:
	mkdir include/media/i2c
	(cd include/media; for i in *.h; do n=`echo $i|sed s/.h$/.c/`; if [ -e ../../drivers/media/i2c/$n ]; then echo $i; git mv $i i2c/; fi; done)
	(cd include/media; for i in *.h; do n=`echo $i|sed s/.h$/.c/`; if [ -e ../../drivers/media/*/i2c/$n ]; then echo $i; git mv $i i2c/; fi; done)
	for i in include/media/*.h; do n=`basename $i`;  (for j in $(git grep -l $n); do dirname $j; done)|sort|uniq|grep -ve '^.$' > list; num=$(wc -l list|cut -d' ' -f1); if [ $num == 1 ]; then if [ "`grep i2c list`" != "" ]; then git mv $i include/media/i2c; fi; fi; done

And the references corrected via this script:
    MAIN_DIR="media/"
    PREV_DIR="media/"
    DIRS="i2c/"

    echo "Checking affected files" >&2
    for i in $DIRS; do

		 n=`basename $j`
		git grep -l $n
	done
    done|sort|uniq >files && (
	echo "Handling files..." >&2;
	echo "for i in \$(cat files|grep -v Documentation); do cat \$i | \\";
	(

6bb27d7349 ARM: delete struct sys_timer
Now that the only field in struct sys_timer is .init, delete the struct,
and replace the machine descriptor .timer field with the initialization
function itself.

This will enable moving timer drivers into drivers/clocksource without
having to place a public prototype of each struct sys_timer object into
include/linux; the intent is to create a single of_clocksource_init()
function that determines which timer driver to initialize by scanning
the device dtree, much like the proposed irqchip_init() at:

As a first step towards migrating davinci platforms to use common clock
framework, replace all instances of clk_enable() with clk_prepare_enable()

switched to use the CONFIG_HAVE_CLK_PREPARE Kconfig variable, this just
adds a might_sleep() call and would work without any issues.

        or in nand_bbt_descr.options

Thus, I am changing NAND_USE_FLASH_BBT to NAND_BBT_USE_FLASH.

Again, this flag is found in bbm.h and so should NOT be used in the
"nand_chip.options" field.

a40f73419f mtd: nand: consolidate redundant flash-based BBT flags
This patch works with the following three flags from two headers (nand.h
and bbm.h):
  (1) NAND_USE_FLASH_BBT (nand.h)
  (2) NAND_USE_FLASH_BBT_NO_OOB (nand.h)
  (3) NAND_BBT_NO_OOB (bbm.h)

These flags are all related and interdependent, yet they were in
different headers. Flag (2) is simply the combination of (1) and (3) and
can be eliminated.

This patch accomplishes the following:
  * eliminate NAND_USE_FLASH_BBT_NO_OOB (i.e., flag (2))
  * move NAND_USE_FLASH_BBT (i.e., flag (1)) to bbm.h

It's important to note that because (1) and (3) are now both found in
bbm.h, they should NOT be used in the "nand_chip.options" field.

I removed a small section from the mtdnand DocBook because it referes to
NAND_USE_FLASH_BBT in nand.h, which has been moved to bbm.h.

6451d7783b arm: remove machine_desc.io_pg_offst and .phys_io
Since we're now using addruart to establish the debug mapping, we can
remove the io_pg_offst and phys_io members of struct machine_desc.

The various declarations were removed using the following script:

  grep -rl MACHINE_START arch/arm | xargs \
  sed -i '/MACHINE_START/,/MACHINE_END/ { /\.\(phys_io\|io_pg_offst\)/d }'

[ Initial patch was from Jeremy Kerr, example script from Russell King ]

13d36a923d davinci: dm365 evm: use EDMAQ_3 as the audio DMA queue
By default the audio driver uses EDMAQ_0 as the DMA queue,
but on DM365 this queue is specially designed for video
transfers with a large fifo size. Having both audio and
video transfers on the same queue leads to noise on the
audio side.

This patch changes the audio queue number for DM365 to
EDMAQ_3.
