NX increments readOffset by FIFO size in receive FIFO control register when CRB is read. But the index in RxFIFO has to match with the corresponding entry in FIFO maintained by VAS in kernel. Otherwise NX may be processing incorrect CRBs and can cause CRB timeout. VAS FIFO offset is 0 when the receive window is opened during initialization. When the module is reloaded or in kexec boot, readOffset in FIFO control register may not match with VAS entry. This patch adds nx_coproc_init OPAL call to reset readOffset and queued entries in FIFO control register for both high and normal FIFOs. Linux kernel ============ There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or ``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at: https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/ There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory, several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation. See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file. Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
