Big amount of changes from Laurent, reworking the driver towards the model used by the other DRM drivers by reverting the direction of many of the operations on the display pipeline. The aim of this work is to allow omapdrm to use the common DRM panels and bridges. Not all of the operations are dealt in these patches, so more work needs to be done. The only change visible to the user should be the change in module dependencies: e.g. earlier a panel module depended on an encoder module, but now the encoder module depends on the panel module, which affects the order in which to unload the modules. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- iQJKBAABCgA0FiEExDgMPpZe/YEHn/On+j2qjLyWHvUFAluNOQoWHHRvbWkudmFs a2VpbmVuQHRpLmNvbQAKCRD6PaqMvJYe9av+D/9UBFr0Do+1FrIJ5qePJaZCXTgc FolV3q6mRFF/qKlxX82q0utrj1jGZ1uTGJh9D05HCVd7Y5CwNVSs4TtLHi69Bkgz 3K1LbXSoP6lBwBZYbCnVf7k08ptIqltG6gYR4wklNfqvPBPvtmBXbnFstQgB07VH 3qBKQr6HxxxSukYZKc57ye5140gH7oWEOw5BnaEcRTpZ7nN3YP2o/ldnxd0CxJ9Q fRrbg3vBVdjeRKQOSAvq6SqT3FfdrSl4ohhnb/Y0eIYdB9HnVan2uDd+zFZStbl8 ojvPDKKDrK8vxcbZHa4V7xySTQgNstChnQSzv0HDgaDcBIzZNlH5DLkwDv4zS4dd Bqb7wi55zKn3g+bquORAenU6W+I4WAMeINloyRHN1M35tbyk2qR7NQx8bYXWvMSD 1IuOMpI+icYokI/x+xlOxL4D86kt8WpLbwJowbDsMMxEmJjYY5eGhZmkUEefZtGl L1bw8V7Ydv+1q9pLGZ+NkxmjfOLQj34XeGDzbmxSUYrxc/vMzCo6LzIrOaET6XGI 1CkbxRwQvdR2PVKKwFf5Kp6sxjmtkZpGp9YZeV4ULSWp9ZfERrqtUA/7ARLY3UGY kvFLlSAyoO2/qXrwCnL26Z7nt1fFmsad4QqJ52Sr4Nj9WT13bvkjxZl3oIkHqD5B YiGPMjgNqlah4T6Sqw== =8425 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- Merge tag 'omapdrm-4.20' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/tomba/linux into drm-next omapdrm changes for v4.20 Big amount of changes from Laurent, reworking the driver towards the model used by the other DRM drivers by reverting the direction of many of the operations on the display pipeline. Linux kernel ============ There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first. In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or ``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at: https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/ There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory, several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation. See Documentation/00-INDEX for a list of what is contained in each file. Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
