e31230f926 nfp: add helper to reassign rings to IRQ vectors
Instead of fixing ring -> vector relations up in ring swap functions
put the reassignment into a helper function which will reinit all
links.

0668b60ba6 nfp: loosen relation between rings and IRQs vectors
Upcoming XDP support will break the assumption that one can iterate

0ae42dfcf2 nfp: rename ring allocation helpers
"Shadow" in ring helpers used to mean that the helper will allocate
rings without touching existing configuration, this was used for
reconfiguration while the device was running. We will soon use
the same helpers for .ndo_open() path, so replace "shadow" with
"ring_set".

No functional changes.

cbeaf7aa73 nfp: bring back support for different ring counts
We used to always allocate the same number of TX and RX rings
so the support for having r_vectors without one of the rings
was dropped. That makes us, however, unnecessarily limited
to 8 TX rings (8 is the Linux RSS default) most of the time.
Also we are about to add channel count configuration via
ethtool, so bring that support back. TX rings can now default
to num_online_cpus() and RX rings to netif_get_num_default_rss_queues().

b47c62c5de nfp: bpf: improve handling for disabled BPF syscall
I stumbled over a new warning during randconfig testing,
with CONFIG_BPF_SYSCALL disabled:

drivers/net/ethernet/netronome/nfp/nfp_net_offload.c: In function 'nfp_net_bpf_offload':
drivers/net/ethernet/netronome/nfp/nfp_net_offload.c:263:3: error: '*((void *)&res+4)' may be used uninitialized in this function [-Werror=maybe-uninitialized]
drivers/net/ethernet/netronome/nfp/nfp_net_offload.c:263:3: error: 'res.n_instr' may be used uninitialized in this function [-Werror=maybe-uninitialized]

As far as I can tell, this is a false positive caused by the compiler
getting confused about a function that is partially inlined, but it's
easy to avoid while improving the code:

The nfp_bpf_jit() stub helper for that configuration is unusual as it
is defined in a header file but not marked 'static inline'. By moving
the compile-time check into the caller using the IS_ENABLED() macro,
we can remove that stub and simplify the nfp_net_bpf_offload_prepare()
function enough to unconfuse the compiler.

3d780b926a nfp: add async reconfiguration mechanism
Some callers of nfp_net_reconfig() are in atomic context so
we used to busy wait for commands to complete. In worst case
scenario that means locking up a core for up to 5 seconds
when a command times out. Lets add a timer-based mechanism
of asynchronously checking whether reconfiguration completed
successfully for atomic callers to use. Non-atomic callers
can now just sleep.

The approach taken is quite simple because (1) synchronous
reconfigurations always happen under RTNL (or before device
is registered); (2) we can coalesce pending reconfigs.
There is no need for request queues, timer which eventually
takes a look at reconfiguration result to report errors is
good enough.

Meaning of data_len and meta_len RX WB descriptor fields is
slightly confusing. Add a comment with a diagram clarifying
the layout. Also remove the buffer length validation:
(a) it's imprecise for static rx-offsets; (b) if firmware
is buggy enough to DMA past the end of the buffer
WARN_ON_ONCE() doesn't seem like a strong enough response.
skb_put() will do the checking for us anyway.

36a857e4f2 nfp: convert .ndo_change_mtu() to prepare/commit paradigm
When changing MTU on running device first allocate new rings
and buffers and once it succeeds proceed with changing MTU.

Allocation of new rings is not really necessary for this
operation - it's done to keep the code simple and because
size of the extra ring memory is quite small compared to
the size of buffers.

Operation can still fail midway through if FW communication
times out. In that case we retry with old MTU (rings).

1934680f55 nfp: reorganize initial filling of RX rings
Separate allocation of buffers from giving them to FW,
thanks to this it will be possible to move allocation
earlier on .ndo_open() path and reuse buffers during
runtime reconfiguration.

Similar to TX side clean up the spill of functionality
from flush to freeing the ring. Unlike on TX side,
RX ring reset does not free buffers from the ring.
Ring reset means only that FW pointers are zeroed and
buffers on the ring must be placed in [0, cnt - 1)
positions.

a188222b6e net: Rename NETIF_F_ALL_CSUM to NETIF_F_CSUM_MASK
The name NETIF_F_ALL_CSUM is a misnomer. This does not correspond to the
set of features for offloading all checksums. This is a mask of the
checksum offload related features bits. It is incorrect to set both
NETIF_F_HW_CSUM and NETIF_F_IP_CSUM or NETIF_F_IPV6 at the same time for
features of a device.

This patch:
  - Changes instances of NETIF_F_ALL_CSUM to NETIF_F_CSUM_MASK (where
NETIF_F_ALL_CSUM is being used as a mask).
