050f0e02c8 viafb: select HW scaling on VX900 for IGA2
VX900 can do hardware scaling for both IGAs in contrast to previous
hardware which could do it only for IGA2. This patch ensures that
we set the parameter for IGA2 and not for IGA1. This fixes hardware
scaling on VX900 until we have the infrastructure to support it for
both IGAs.

37fbf4bfb8 Restore direct_io / truncate locking API
With kernel 3.1, Christoph removed i_alloc_sem and replaced it with
calls (namely inode_dio_wait() and inode_dio_done()) which are
EXPORT_SYMBOL_GPL() thus they cannot be used by non-GPL file systems and
further inode_dio_wait() was pushed from notify_change() into the file
system ->setattr() method but no non-GPL file system can make this call.

That means non-GPL file systems cannot exist any more unless they do not
use any VFS functionality related to reading/writing as far as I can
tell or at least as long as they want to implement direct i/o.

Both Linus and Al (and others) have said on LKML that this breakage of
the VFS API should not have happened and that the change was simply
missed as it was not documented in the change logs of the patches that
did those changes.

This patch changes the two function exports in question to be
EXPORT_SYMBOL() thus restoring the VFS API as it used to be - accessible
for all modules.

Christoph, who introduced the two functions and exported them GPL-only
is CC-ed on this patch to give him the opportunity to object to the
symbols being changed in this manner if he did indeed intend them to be
GPL-only and does not want them to become available to all modules.

This patch adds the PHY_HAS_INTERRUPT flag for IC+101 device series.
Also the patch does a simple dity-up to signal that

and mainly differ for the EEE capability supported in the

b8e3995af4 netdev/phy/icplus: Correct broken phy_init code
The code for ip1001_config_init() was totally broken if you were not
using RGMII. Instead of returning an error code or zero it actually
returned the value in the IP1001_SPEC_CTRL_STATUS_2 register. It was
also trying to set the IP1001_APS_ON bit , but never actually wrote
back the register.

The error checking was also incorrect in both this function and the
reset function, so this patch fixes that up in a consistent fashion.

5065319052 Btrfs: clear the extent uptodate bits during parent transid failures
If btrfs reads a block and finds a parent transid mismatch, it clears
the uptodate flags on the extent buffer, and the pages inside it. But
we only clear the uptodate bits in the state tree if the block straddles
more than one page.

This is from an old optimization from to reduce contention on the extent
state tree. But it is buggy because the code that retries a read from
a different copy of the block is going to find the uptodate state bits
set and skip the IO.

The end result of the bug is that we'll never actually read the good
copy (if there is one).

The fix here is to always clear the uptodate state bits, which is safe
because this code is only called when the parent transid fails.

a247ce78ca OMAPDSS: HACK: Ensure DSS clock domain gets out of idle when HDMI is enabled
For DSS clock domain to transition from idle to active state. It's necessary
to enable the optional clock DSS_FCLK before we enable the module using the
MODULEMODE bits in the clock domain's CM_DSS_DSS_CLKCTRL register.

This sequence was not followed correctly for the 'dss_hdmi' hwmod and it led
to DSS clock domain not getting out of idle when pm_runtime_get_sync() was
called for hdmi's platform device.

Since the clock domain failed to change it's state to active, the hwmod code
disables any clocks it had enabled before for this hwmod. This led to the clock
'dss_48mhz_clk' gettind disabled.

When hdmi's runtime_resume() op is called, the call to dss_runtime_get()
correctly enables the DSS clock domain this time. However, the clock
'dss_48mhz_clk' is needed for HDMI's PHY to function correctly. Since it was
disabled previously, the driver fails when it tries to enable HDMI's PHY.

Fix this for now by ensuring that dss_runtime_get() is called before we call
pm_runtime_get_sync() for hdmi's platform device. A correct fix for later would
be to modify the DSS related hwmod's mainclks, and also some changes in how
opt clocks are handled in the DSS driver.

This fixes the issue of HDMI not working when it's the default display. The
issue is not seen if any other display is already enabled as the first display
would have correctly enabled the DSS clockdomain.

ddba6c7f7e OMAP1: pass LCD config with omapfb_set_lcd_config()
LCD config for old omapfb driver is passed with OMAP_TAG_LCD from board
files or from the bootloader. In an effort to remove OMAP_TAG_LCD, this
patch adds omapfb_set_lcd_config() function that the board files can
call to set the LCD config.

This has the drawback that configuration can no longer come from the
bootloader. Of the boards supported by the kernel, this should only
affect N770 which depends on the data from the bootloader. This patch
adds an LCD config for N770 to its board files, but that is most
probably broken. Fixing this would need information about the HW setup
in N770 boards.

58e0d6ab02 OMAP: N770: remove HWA742 platform data
In an effort to clean up the old omapfb driver, this patch removes
HWA742 (the display chip used in N770) platform data. This can be done
as N770 is the only user of HWA742, and the platform data contains only

2a803c887b OMAPDSS: Remove video SRAM support
OMAP SRAM can be used as video memory on OMAP1 and 2. However, there
usually is very little SRAM available, thus limiting its use, and no
board supported by the kernel currently uses it.

This patch removes the use of SRAM as video ram for the omapdss driver
to simplify memory handling.

22c8bff6fa mlx4_core: Exported functions can't be static
At least on powerpc, it breaks the build if exported functions are
static. Fix some static exported functions introduced with the mlx4
SR-IOV support added in 3.3-rc1.

45196cee28 USB bugfixes for 3.3-rc4
A number of new device ids, and a cleanup/fix for some of the option

ee932bf9ac Move Logitech Harmony 900 from cdc_ether to zaurus
In the current kernel implementation, the Logitech Harmony 900 remote
control is matched to the cdc_ether driver through the generic
USB_CDC_SUBCLASS_MDLM entry. However, this device appears to be of the
pseudo-MDLM (Belcarra) type, rather than the standard one. This patch
blacklists the Harmony 900 from the cdc_ether driver and whitelists it for
the pseudo-MDLM driver in zaurus.

22ad7499bc hso: memsetting wrong data in hso_get_count()
The intent was to clear out the icount struct here, but we accidentally
clear stack memory instead. It probably will lead to a NULL dereference
right away.

e2d4370b78 Merge branch 'drm-fixes' of git://people.freedesktop.org/~airlied/linux
Intel, radeon, exynos fixes.

Intel: fixes a few Ivybridge hangs, along with fixing RC6 on SNB (still
not on, but at least allows for distros to patch it on easily).

radeon: oops reading some files in debugfs that weren't meant to appear,
a fix that touches a lot of files, so looks worse than it is, it fixes
an oops if a GPU reset fails and userspace keeps submitting more data,
along with a minor BIOS fix for newer boards.

exynos: a group of fixes for exynos, they've sent me a few more but
these were all I got through, and its no hw vanilla kernel users see a
lot off yet.

* 'drm-fixes' of git://people.freedesktop.org/~airlied/linux:
drm/radeon/kms/atom: dpms bios scratch reg updates
drm/radeon/kms: properly set accel working flag and bailout when false
drm/radeon: Only create additional ring debugfs files on Cayman or newer.
drm/exynos: added postclose to release resource.
  drm/exynos: removed exynos_drm_fbdev_recreate function.
  drm/exynos: fixed page flip issue.
  drm/exynos: added possible_clones setup function.
drm/exynos: removed pageflip_event_list init code when closed.
drm/exynos: changed priority of mixer layers.
