We can do better with armada_drm_crtc_complete_frame_work() - we can
avoid taking the event lock unless a call to drm_send_vblank_event()

When the CRTC is in low power mode, it isn't running, and so there's
no point keeping the CRTC clock enabled. Disable the CRTC clock during

We need to re-enable it in the mode_set callback to ensure that the
variant's compute_clock() continues to see its clock in the expected
state (enabled).

A range of fixes for the Armada DRM driver:
- A missing wakeup could result in overlay frames being delayed, causing
video playback to hiccup.
- Avoid unmapping a dma-buf attachment which was never mapped
- Fix the overlay when partially off the screen by switching to the
drm_plane_helper_check_update() helper and using the calculated
coordinates to set the start address.
- Remove an incorrect assignment to crtc->mode - which should be the
unadjusted mode.
- Fix a missing call to drm_plane_cleanup() in the overlay code.

Fix the start address calculation when overlay is partially off screen.
fb->bits_per_pixel is not set for YUV formats, and is always zero, which
led to the first component always starting at zero.
Use drm_format_plane_cpp() instead.
This also revealed a problem in that YUYV formats toggle the U/V data
for odd pixel start address offsets. We try to rectify that by
toggling the U/V swap, which for the most part works, but seemingly
introduces a flicker for one scan frame of swapped U/V.
However, these changes result in an overall improvement.

Nothing was waking up the overlay plane wait queue, so we were fully
reliant on the HZ/25 wait timing out to make progress. Fix the lack

While at it, unite dma_buf_export_named() with dma_buf_export(), and
change all callers accordingly.

Three changes for the Armada DRM driver:
1. Add back the flags which tell the DRM core that we can do vblank. This
was removed in error during the recent restructuring, and came to light
while trying textured Xv rendering.
2. Fixing a refcount leak with Xv overlay.
3. As per recent discussion, the drm_vblank_pre_modeset() calls can cause
deadlock with other changes to generic code. This change prevents those
deadlocks by switching to the drm_crtc_vblank_*() calls instead.

A refcounting leak was found of the original frame buffer attached to
the CRTC when using the page_flip ioctl, resulting in the frame buffer
never being freed.
This was not obvious initially, as if the page flip subsequently
re-attaches the original frame buffer, the refcounts will be balanced.
However, if the original frame buffer is freed, then it will be leaked.
Fix this by ensuring that we take a reference on the incoming fb, but
rely on the queued work to drop that ref count.

One step closer to dropping all the drm_bus_* code:
Add a driver->set_busid() callback and make all drivers use the generic
helpers. Nouveau is the only driver that uses two different bus-types with
the same drm_driver. This is totally broken if both buses are available on
the same machine (unlikely, but lets be safe). Therefore, we create two
different drivers for each platform during module_init() and set the
set_busid() callback respectively.

To implement hotplug detection in a race-free manner, drivers must call
drm_kms_helper_poll_init() before hotplug events can be triggered. Such
events can be triggered right after any of the encoders or connectors
are initialized. At the same time, if the drm_fb_helper_hotplug_event()
helper is used by a driver, then the poll helper requires some parts of
the FB helper to be initialized to prevent a crash.
At the same time, drm_fb_helper_init() requires information that is not
necessarily available at such an early stage (number of CRTCs and
connectors), so it cannot be used yet.
Add a new helper, drm_fb_helper_prepare(), that initializes the bare
minimum needed to allow drm_kms_helper_poll_init() to execute and any
subsequent hotplug events to be processed properly.

Loading cursors to the LCD controller's SRAM can be corrupted when the
configured pixel clock is relatively slow. This seems to be caused
when we write back-to-back to the SRAM registers.
There doesn't appear to be any status register we can read to check
when an access has completed.
Inserting a dummy read between the writes appears to fix the problem.

Now that CRTC's have a primary plane, there's no need to track the
framebuffer in the CRTC. Replace all references to the CRTC fb with the
primary plane's fb.
This patch was generated by the Coccinelle semantic patching tool using
the following rules:
@@ struct drm_crtc C; @@
- (C).fb
+ C.primary->fb
@@ struct drm_crtc *C; @@
- (C)->fb
+ C->primary->fb
v3: Generate patch via coccinelle. Actual removal of crtc->fb has been
moved to a subsequent patch.
v2: Fixup several lingering crtc->fb instances that were missed in the
first patch iteration. [Rob Clark]

Commit 92b6f89f6b8f (drm: Add separate Kconfig option for fbdev helpers)
happened in parallel with the inclusion of Armada DRM into mainline,

This adds support for the Armada 510 display subsystem found on the
Marvell Dove devices. This IP is re-used across several different Marvell
SoCs with various tweaks, and this driver has been structured to allow
the other IPs to re-use the bulk of this code; further work in this area
is expected from interested parties.
This has been extensively tested on the SolidRun Cubox platform and
appears to work well there.

This patch adds support for the pair of LCD controllers on the Marvell
Armada 510 SoCs. This driver supports:
- multiple contiguous scanout buffers for video and graphics
- shm backed cacheable buffer objects for X pixmaps for Vivante GPU
acceleration
- dual lcd0 and lcd1 crt operation
- video overlay on each LCD crt via DRM planes
- page flipping of the main scanout buffers
- DRM prime for buffer export/import
This driver is trivial to extend to other Armada SoCs.
Included in this commit is the core driver with no output support; output
support is platform and encoder driver dependent.
