c758dfddc1 net/smc: add SMC-D support in CLC messages
There are two types of SMC: SMC-R and SMC-D. These types are signaled
within the CLC messages during the CLC handshake. This patch adds
support for and checks of the SMC type.

Also, SMC-R and SMC-D need to exchange different information during the
CLC handshake. So, this patch extends the current message formats to
support the SMC-D header fields. The Proposal message can contain both
SMC-R and SMC-D information. The Accept and Confirm messages contain
either SMC-R or SMC-D information.

implementation.

c6ba7c9ba4 net/smc: add base infrastructure for SMC-D and ISM
SMC supports two variants: SMC-R and SMC-D. For data transport, SMC-R
uses RDMA devices, SMC-D uses so-called Internal Shared Memory (ISM)
devices. An ISM device only allows shared memory communication between
SMC instances on the same machine. For example, this allows virtual
machines on the same host to communicate via SMC without RDMA devices.

This patch adds the base infrastructure for SMC-D and ISM devices to
the existing SMC code. It contains the following:

* ISM driver interface:
  This interface allows an ISM driver to register ISM devices in SMC. In
  the process, the driver provides a set of device ops for each device.
  SMC uses these ops to execute SMC specific operations on or transfer
  data over the device.

* Core SMC-D link group, connection, and buffer support:
  Link groups, SMC connections and SMC buffers (in smc_core) are
  extended to support SMC-D.

* SMC type checks:
  Some type checks are added to prevent using SMC-R specific code for
  SMC-D and vice versa.

To actually use SMC-D, additional changes to pnetid, CLC, CDC, etc. are
required. These are added in follow-up patches.

e82f2e31f5 net/smc: optimize consumer cursor updates
The SMC protocol requires to send a separate consumer cursor update,
if it cannot be piggybacked to updates of the producer cursor.
Currently the decision to send a separate consumer cursor update
just considers the amount of data already received by the socket
program. It does not consider the amount of data already arrived, but
not yet consumed by the receiver. Basing the decision on the
difference between already confirmed and already arrived data
(instead of difference between already confirmed and already consumed
data), may lead to a somewhat earlier consumer cursor update send in
fast unidirectional traffic scenarios, and thus to better throughput.

0afff91c6f net/smc: add pnetid support
s390 hardware supports the definition of a so-call Physical NETwork
IDentifier (short PNETID) per network device port. These PNETIDS
can be used to identify network devices that are attached to the same
physical network (broadcast domain).

On s390 try to use the PNETID of the ethernet device port used for
initial connecting, and derive the IB device port used for SMC RDMA
traffic.

On platforms without PNETID support fall back to the existing
solution of a configured pnet table.

be6a3f38ff net/smc: determine port attributes independent from pnet table
For SMC it is important to know the current port state of RoCE devices.
Monitoring port states has been triggered, when a RoCE device was added
to the pnet table. To support future alternatives to the pnet table the
monitoring of ports is made independent of the existence of a pnet table.
It starts once the smc_ib_device is established.

Due to this change smc_ib_remember_port_attr() is now a local function
and shuffling its location and the location of its used functions
makes any forward references obsolete.

And the duplicate SMC_MAX_PORTS definition is removed.

6396bb2215 treewide: kzalloc() -> kcalloc()
The kzalloc() function has a 2-factor argument form, kcalloc(). This
patch replaces cases of:

        kzalloc(a * b, gfp)

with:
        kcalloc(a * b, gfp)

as well as handling cases of:

        kzalloc(a * b * c, gfp)

with:

        kzalloc(array3_size(a, b, c), gfp)

as it's slightly less ugly than:

        kzalloc_array(array_size(a, b), c, gfp)

This does, however, attempt to ignore constant size factors like:

        kzalloc(4 * 1024, gfp)

though any constants defined via macros get caught up in the conversion.

Any factors with a sizeof() of "unsigned char", "char", and "u8" were
dropped, since they're redundant.

c0129a0614 smc: convert to ->poll_mask
smc->clcsock is an internal TCP socket, after TCP socket
converts to ->poll_mask, ->poll doesn't exist any more.
So just convert smc socket to ->poll_mask too.

7f58a1ad5a net/smc: longer delay when freeing client link groups
Client link group creation always follows the server linkgroup creation.
If peer creates a new server link group, client has to create a new
client link group. If peer reuses a server link group for a new
connection, client has to reuse its client link group as well. To
avoid out-of-sync conditions for link groups a longer delay for
for client link group removal is defined to make sure this link group
still exists, once the peer decides to reuse a server link group.

Currently the client link group delay time is just 10 jiffies larger
than the server link group delay time. This patch increases the delay
difference to 10 seconds to have a better protection against
out-of-sync link groups.

b9f227c370 net/smc: lock smc_lgr_list in port_terminate()
Currently, smc_port_terminate() is not holding the lock of the lgr list
while it is traversing the list. This patch adds locking to this
function and changes smc_lgr_terminate() accordingly.

2351abe6f8 net/smc: return 0 for ioctl calls in states INIT and CLOSED
A connected SMC-socket contains addresses of descriptors for the
send buffer and the rmb (receive buffer). Fields of these descriptors
are used to determine the answer for certain ioctl requests.
Add extra handling for unconnected SMC socket states without valid
buffer descriptor addresses.

S390 bpf_jit.S is removed in net-next and had changes in 'net',
since that code isn't used any more take the removal.

TLS data structures split the TX and RX components in 'net-next',
put the new struct members from the bug fix in 'net' into the RX
part.

The 'net-next' tree had some reworking of how the ERSPAN code works in
the GRE tunneling code, overlapping with a one-line headroom
calculation fix in 'net'.

Overlapping changes in __sock_map_ctx_update_elem(), keep the bits
that read the prog members via READ_ONCE() into local variables
before using them.

95d8d26306 net/smc: calculate write offset in RMB only once per connection
Currently, the write offset within the RMB is calculated on each write
operation although it is fixed for each connection. With this patch, the
offset is calculated once and stored in a connection specific variable.

This patch moves the global link group list to smc_core where the link
group functions are. To make this work, it moves code in af_smc and
smc_ib that operates on the link group list to smc_core as well.

While at it, the link group counter is integrated into the list
structure and initialized to zero.

69cb7dc021 net/smc: add common buffer size in send and receive buffer descriptors
In addition to the buffer references, SMC currently stores the sizes of
the receive and send buffers in each connection as separate variables.
This patch introduces a buffer length variable in the common buffer
descriptor and uses this length instead.

2a4c57a9e7 net/smc: use a workqueue to defer llc send
SMC handles deferred work in tasklets. As tasklets cannot sleep this
can result in rare EBUSY conditions, so defer this work in a work queue.
The high level api functions do not defer work because they can sleep
until the llc send is actually completed.

d97935faee net/smc: simplify test_link function usage
Make smc_llc_send_test_link() static and remove it from the header file.
And to send a test_link response set the response flag and send the
message back as-is, without using smc_llc_send_test_link(). And because
smc_llc_send_test_link() must no longer send responses, remove the
response flag handling from the function.

d49baa7e12 net/smc: check for missing nlattrs in SMC_PNETID messages
It's possible to crash the kernel in several different ways by sending
messages to the SMC_PNETID generic netlink family that are missing the
expected attributes:

- Missing SMC_PNETID_NAME => null pointer dereference when comparing
  names.
- Missing SMC_PNETID_ETHNAME => null pointer dereference accessing
  smc_pnetentry::ndev.
- Missing SMC_PNETID_IBNAME => null pointer dereference accessing
  smc_pnetentry::smcibdev.
- Missing SMC_PNETID_IBPORT => out of bounds array access to
  smc_ib_device::pattr[-1].

Fix it by validating that all expected attributes are present and that
SMC_PNETID_IBPORT is nonzero.

An SMC link group is bound to a specific vlan_id. Its link uses
the RoCE-GIDs established for the specific vlan_id. This patch makes
sure the appropriate vlan_id is determined for stacked scenarios like

784813aed6 net/smc: restrict non-blocking connect finish
The smc_poll code tries to finish connect() if the socket is in
state SMC_INIT and polling of the internal CLC-socket returns with
EPOLLOUT. This makes sense for a select/poll call following a connect
call, but not without preceding connect().
With this patch smc_poll starts connect logic only, if the CLC-socket
is no longer in its initial state TCP_CLOSE.

In addition, a poll error on the internal CLC-socket is always
propagated to the SMC socket.

With this patch the code path mentioned by syzbot
https://syzkaller.appspot.com/bug?extid=03faa2dc16b8b64be396
is no longer possible.
