b1ad4c39bf drm/i915: extract intel_dpio_phy.h from i915_drv.h
It used to be handy that we only had a couple of headers, but over time
i915_drv.h has become unwieldy. Extract declarations to a separate
header file corresponding to the implementation module, clarifying the
modularity of the driver.

Ensure the new header is self-contained, and do so with minimal further
includes, using forward declarations as needed. Include the new header
only where needed, and sort the modified include directives while at it
and as needed.

No functional changes.

Let's start using the vfuncs to differentiate MG and Combo PLLs. The end
goal is to decouple the type of the PLL from the IDs since the latter

2dd24a9c2c drm/i915/gen11+: First assume next platforms will inherit stuff
This exactly same approach was already used from gen9

While there should most likely be no harm in changing the order

least it might reduce the confusion when staring at logs (took
me a while to figure out why DPLL1 being picked over DPLL0

584fca111d drm/i915/icl: use tc_port in MG_PLL macros
Fix the TODO leftover in the code by changing the argument in MG_PLL
macros. The MG_PLL ids used to access the register values can be
converted from tc_port rather than port.

All these registers can use the TC port to calculate the right offsets
because they are only available for TC ports. The range (PORT_C onwards)
may not be stable and change from platform to platform. So by using the
TC id directly we avoid having to check for the platform in the "leaf
functions" and thus passing dev_priv around.

The helper functions were also renamed to use "tc" as prefix to make
them more generic.

The majority of runtime-pm operations are bounded and scoped within a

correctly. We can employ the compiler to help us, and reduce the number
of wakerefs tracked when debugging, by passing around cookies provided
by the various rpm_get functions to their rpm_put counterpart. This
makes the pairing explicit, and given the required wakeref cookie the
compiler can verify that we pass an initialised value to the rpm_put
(quite handy for double checking error paths).

struct intel_digital_port as regular ports, so to get the TC type it
is necessary check the primary digital port of the mst encoder.

The register value of Divider Ratio for high speed divider

icl_mg_pll_find_divisors() can use these defines instead of magic

The new defines are going to be used in the next patch.

Although the calculated values mostly match the register defaults even

This commit just adds the register addresses and the basic skeleton of
the code. The next commits will expand on more specific functions.

51c83cfaf9 drm/i915/icl: Get DDI clock for ICL based on PLLs.
PLLs are the source clocks for the DDIs so in order
to determine the ddi clock we need to check the PLL
configuration.

This gets a little tricky for ICL since there is
no register bit that maps directly to the link clock.
So this patch creates a separate function in intel_dpll_mgr.c
to obtain the write array PLL Params and compares the set
pll_params with the table to get the corresponding link
clock.

v2:
  - Fix the encoder type check (DK).
  - Improve our error checking, return a sane value (Mika, Paulo).
  - Fix table entries (Paulo).

145ef0d17d drm/i915/icl: compute the MG PLL registers
This implements the "MG PLL Programming" sequence from our spec. The
biggest problem was that the spec assumes real numbers, so we had to
adjust some numbers and calculations due to the fact that the Kernel
prefers to deal with integers.

I recommend grabbing some coffee, a pen and paper before reviewing
this patch.

v2:
 - Correctly identify DP encoders after upstream change.
 - Small checkpatch issues.
 - Rebase.
v3:
 - Try to impove the comment on the tdc_targetcnt calculation based on
   Manasi's feedback (Manasi).
 - Rebase.

febafb9318 drm/i915/icl: compute the combo PHY (DPLL) HDMI registers
HDMI mode DPLL programming on ICL is the same as CNL, so just reuse
the CNL code.

v2:
 - Properly detect HDMI crtcs.
 - Rebase after changes to the cnl function (clock * 1000).
v3:
 - Add a comment to clarify why we treat 38.4 as 19.2 (James).
