18320f4779 dt-bindings: usb: renesas_usbhs: add clock-names property
R-Car Gen3 needs to enable clocks of both host and peripheral.
Otherwise, other side device cannot work correctly. So, this patch

4c19cc1406 usb: dwc3: exynos: Add support for Exynos5433 variant with all clocks
DWC3 variant found in Exynos5433 SoCs requires keeping all DRD30/UHOST30
clocks enabled all the time the driver does any access to DWC3 registers,
otherwise external abort happens. So far DWC3 hardware module worked with
samsung,exynos5250-dwusb3 compatible only by luck when built into kernel:
all DRD30 clocks were left enabled by bootloader and later kept enabled
by the DRD PHY driver. However, if one tried to use Exnos DWC3 driver as
a module or performed system suspend/resume cycle, external abort
happened. This patch finally fixes this issue.

b206548be6 usb: gadget: uvc: configfs: Add bFrameIndex attributes
- Add bFrameIndex as a UVCG_FRAME_ATTR_RO for each frame size.
- Automatically assign ascending bFrameIndex to each frame in a format.

Before all "bFrameindex" attributes were set to "1" with no way to
configure the gadget otherwise. This resulted in the host always
negotiating for bFrameIndex 1 (i.e. the first frame size of the gadget).
After the negotiation the host driver will set the user or application
selected frame size, while the gadget is actually set to the first frame
size.

Now, when the containing format is linked into the streaming header,
iterate over all child frame descriptors and assign ascending indices.
The automatically assigned indices can be read from the new read only
bFrameIndex configfs attribute in each frame descriptor item.

61ff10e0ea usb: gadget: uvc: configfs: Add bFormatIndex attributes
The UVC format description are numbered using the descriptor's
bFormatIndex field. The index is used in UVC requests, and is thus
needed to handle requests in userspace. Make it dynamically discoverable
by exposing it in a bFormatIndex configfs attribute of the uncompressed
and mjpeg format config items.

The bFormatIndex value exposed through the attribute is stored in the
config item private data. However, that value is never set: the driver
instead computes the bFormatIndex value when linking the stream class
header in the configfs hierarchy and stores it directly in the class
descriptors in a separate structure. In order to expose the value
through the configfs attribute, store it in the config item private data
as well. This results in a small code simplification.

bf71544883 usb: gadget: uvc: configfs: Add interface number attributes
The video control and video streaming interface numbers are needed in
the UVC gadget userspace stack to reply to UVC requests. They are
hardcoded to fixed values at the moment, preventing configurations with
multiple functions.

To fix this, make them dynamically discoverable by userspace through
read-only configfs attributes in <function>/control/bInterfaceNumber and
<function>/streaming/bInterfaceNumber respectively.

a27fb6d983 This pull request is slightly bigger than usual at this stage, but
I swear I would have sent it the same to Linus!  The main cause for
 this is that I was on vacation until two weeks ago and it took a while
 to sort all the pending patches between 4.19 and 4.20, test them and
 so on.
 
 It's mostly small bugfixes and cleanups, mostly around x86 nested
 virtualization.  One important change, not related to nested
 virtualization, is that the ability for the guest kernel to trap CPUID
 instructions (in Linux that's the ARCH_SET_CPUID arch_prctl) is now
 masked by default.  This is because the feature is detected through an
 MSR; a very bad idea that Intel seems to like more and more.  Some
 applications choke if the other fields of that MSR are not initialized
 as on real hardware, hence we have to disable the whole MSR by default,
 as was the case before Linux 4.12.

6fbbde9a19 KVM: x86: Control guest reads of MSR_PLATFORM_INFO
Add KVM_CAP_MSR_PLATFORM_INFO so that userspace can disable guest access
to reads of MSR_PLATFORM_INFO.

Disabling access to reads of this MSR gives userspace the control to "expose"
this platform-dependent information to guests in a clear way. As it exists
today, guests that read this MSR would get unpopulated information if userspace
hadn't already set it (and prior to this patch series, only the CPUID faulting
information could have been populated). This existing interface could be
confusing if guests don't handle the potential for incorrect/incomplete
information gracefully (e.g. zero reported for base frequency).

197ecb3802 xen/balloon: add runtime control for scrubbing ballooned out pages
Scrubbing pages on initial balloon down can take some time, especially
in nested virtualization case (nested EPT is slow). When HVM/PVH guest is
started with memory= significantly lower than maxmem=, all the extra
pages will be scrubbed before returning to Xen. But since most of them
weren't used at all at that point, Xen needs to populate them first
(from populate-on-demand pool). In nested virt case (Xen inside KVM)
this slows down the guest boot by 15-30s with just 1.5GB needed to be
returned to Xen.

Add runtime parameter to enable/disable it, to allow initially disabling
scrubbing, then enable it back during boot (for example in initramfs).
Such usage relies on assumption that a) most pages ballooned out during
initial boot weren't used at all, and b) even if they were, very few
secrets are in the guest at that time (before any serious userspace
kicks in).
Convert CONFIG_XEN_SCRUB_PAGES to CONFIG_XEN_SCRUB_PAGES_DEFAULT (also
enabled by default), controlling default value for the new runtime
switch.

40ebdb8e59 KVM: s390: Make huge pages unavailable in ucontrol VMs
We currently do not notify all gmaps when using gmap_pmdp_xchg(), due
to locking constraints. This makes ucontrol VMs, which is the only VM
type that creates multiple gmaps, incompatible with huge pages. Also
we would need to hold the guest_table_lock of all gmaps that have this
vmaddr maped to synchronize access to the pmd.

ucontrol VMs are rather exotic and creating a new locking concept is
no easy task. Hence we return EINVAL when trying to active
KVM_CAP_S390_HPAGE_1M and report it as being not available when
checking for it.

10d7fac4c5 dt-bindings: net: cpsw: Document cpsw-phy-sel usage but prefer phandle
The current cpsw usage for cpsw-phy-sel is undocumented but is used for
all the boards using cpsw. And cpsw-phy-sel is not really a child of
the cpsw device, it lives in the system control module instead.

Let's document the existing usage, and improve it a bit where we prefer
to use a phandle instead of a child device for it. That way we can
properly describe the hardware in dts files for things like genpd.

fd65465b70 kconfig: do not require pkg-config on make {menu,n}config
Meelis Roos reported a {menu,n}config regression:
 "I have libncurses devel package installed in the default system
  location (as do 99%+ on actual developers probably) and in this
  case, pkg-config is useless.  pkg-config is needed only when
  libraries and headers are installed in non-default locations but
  it is bad to require installation of pkg-config on all the machines
  where make menuconfig would be possibly run."

For {menu,n}config, do not use pkg-config if it is not installed.
For {g,x}config, keep checking pkg-config since we really rely on it
for finding the installation paths of the required packages.

Instead of forcing a distro or other system builder to choose
at build time whether the CPU is trusted for CRNG seeding via
CONFIG_RANDOM_TRUST_CPU, provide a boot-time parameter for end users to

82fe39a6bc i2c: refactor function to release a DMA safe buffer
a) rename to 'put' instead of 'release' to match 'get' when obtaining
   the buffer
b) change the argument order to have the buffer as first argument
c) add a new argument telling the function if the message was
   transferred. This allows the function to be used also in cases
   where setting up DMA failed, so the buffer needs to be freed without
   syncing to the message buffer.

Also convert the only user.
