affa115ed3 dma/amba-pl08x: add support for the Nomadik variant
The Nomadik PL080 variant has some extra protection bits that
may be set, so we need to check these bits to see if the
channels are actually available for the DMAengine to use.

6026aa907b ARM: 7369/1: amba: add functions to add devices dynamically
Add two functions to add APB and AHB devices to the amba (PrimeCell)
bus dynamically. This is modeled after the static definition
macros recently introduced into <linux/amba/bus.h> and can
help us in factoring out a bunch of code across the kernel.
Since a lot of call sites seem to be using a returned struct
amba device* pointer, let's use that.

Pull ARM fixes from Russell King:
"Nothing too disasterous, the biggest thing being the removal of the
regulator support for vcore in the AMBA driver; only one SoC was using
this and it got broken during the last merge window, which then
started causing problems for other people. Mutual agreement was
reached for it to be removed."

1e45860f54 ARM: 7366/3: amba: Remove AMBA level regulator support
The AMBA bus regulator support is being used to model on/off switches
for power domains which isn't terribly idiomatic for modern kernels with
the generic power domain code and creates integration problems on platforms
which don't use regulators for their power domains as it's hard to tell
the difference between a regulator that is needed but failed to be provided
and one that isn't supposed to be there (though DT does make that easier).

Platforms that wish to use the regulator API to manage their power domains
can indirect via the power domain interface.

This feature is only used with the vape supply of the db8500 PRCMU
driver which supplies the UARTs and MMC controllers, none of which have
support for managing vcore at runtime in mainline (only pl022 SPI
controller does). Update that supply to have an always_on constraint
until the power domain support for the system is updated so that it is
enabled for these users, this is likely to have no impact on practical
systems as probably at least one of these devices will be active and
cause AMBA to hold the supply on anyway.

327ef2e904 spi/pL022: include types.h to remove compilation warnings
linux/pl022.h uses definitions like, u8, u16, etc, which have dependency of
types.h file, which isn't included in it. So, we get compilation warnings.

This patch includes types.h there to fix these warnings.

"[RFC PATCH 0/2] audit of linux/device.h users in include/*"
 		https://lkml.org/lkml/2012/3/4/159
 --

Nearly every subsystem has some kind of header with a proto like:

 	void foo(struct device *dev);

and yet there is no reason for most of these guys to care about the
sub fields within the device struct. This allows us to significantly
reduce the scope of headers including headers. For this instance, a
reduction of about 40% is achieved by replacing the include with the
simple fact that the device is some kind of a struct.

Unlike the much larger module.h cleanup, this one is simply two
commits. One to fix the implicit <linux/device.h> users, and then
one to delete the device.h includes from the linux/include/ dir
 wherever possible.

313162d0b8 device.h: audit and cleanup users in main include dir
The <linux/device.h> header includes a lot of stuff, and
it in turn gets a lot of use just for the basic "struct device"
which appears so often.

Clean up the users as follows:

1) For those headers only needing "struct device" as a pointer
in fcn args, replace the include with exactly that.

2) For headers not really using anything from device.h, simply
delete the include altogether.

3) For headers relying on getting device.h implicitly before
being included themselves, now explicitly include device.h

4) For files in which doing #1 or #2 uncovers an implicit
dependency on some other header, fix by explicitly adding
the required header(s).

Any C files that were implicitly relying on device.h to be
present have already been dealt with in advance.

Total removals from #1 and #2: 51. Total additions coming
from #3: 9. Total other implicit dependencies from #4: 7.

As of 3.3-rc1, there were 110, so a net removal of 42 gives
about a 38% reduction in device.h presence in include/*

bc521818e2 ARM: 7219/1: mmc: mmci: Change vdd_handler to a generic ios_handler
The purpose of the vdd_handler does not make sense. We remove it
and use a generic approach instead. A new ios_handler is added, the
purpose of which e.g. can be to control GPIO pins to a levelshifter.

Previously the vdd_handler was also used for making additional
changes to the power register bits. This option is superfluous and is
therefore removed.

Adaptaptions from the old vdd_handler to the new ios_handler is done for
mach-ux500 board, which was the only one using the vdd_handler.

This patch is based upon a patch from Sebastian Rasmussen.

4d1a3a0dc5 ARM: 7218/1: mmc: mmci: Provide option to configure bus signal direction
The ST Micro variant supports bus signal direction indication. A new
member in the variant struct is added for this.

Moreover the actual signal direction configuration is board specific,
thus the amba mmci platform data is extended with a new member to be
able provide mmci with these specific board configurations.

cd07251521 DMA: PL330: Infer transfer direction from transfer request instead of platform data
The transfer direction for a channel can be inferred from the transfer
request and the need for specifying transfer direction in platfrom data
can be eliminated. So the structure definition 'struct dma_pl330_peri'
is no longer required.

The channel's private data is set to point to a channel id specified in
the platform data (instead of an instance of type 'struct dma_pl330_peri').
The filter function is correspondingly modified to match the channel id.

With the 'struct dma_pl330_peri' removed from platform data, the dma
controller transfer capabilities cannot be inferred any more. Hence,
the dma controller capabilities is specified using platform data.

53e4acea0e spi/pl022: add support for pm_runtime autosuspend
Adds support for configuring the spi bus to use autosuspend for
runtime power management. This can reduce the latency in starting an

completion of a transfer. If another transfer then takes place before
the autosuspend timeout, the call to resume the device can return
immediately rather than needing to risk sleeping in order to resume
the device.

b7f69d9d42 dmaengine/amba-pl08x: Add support for sg len greater than one for slave transfers
Untill now, sg_len greater than one is not supported. This patch adds support to
do that.

Note: Still, if peripheral is flow controller, sg_len can't be greater that one.

0a2356572b dmaengine/amba-pl08x: Pass flow controller information with slave channel data
At least, on SPEAr platforms there is one peripheral, JPEG, which can be flow
controller for DMA transfer. Currently DMA controller driver didn't support
peripheral flow controller configurations.

This patch adds device_fc field in struct pl08x_channel_data, which will be used
only for slave transfers and is not used in case of mem2mem transfers.

16a2e7d359 dmaengine/amba-pl08x: Get rid of pl08x_pre_boundary()
Pl080 Manual says: "Bursts do not cross the 1KB address boundary"

We can program the controller to cross 1 KB boundary on a burst and controller
can take care of this boundary condition by itself.

Following is the discussion with ARM Technical Support Guys (David):
[Viresh] Manual says: "Bursts do not cross the 1KB address boundary"

What does that actually mean? As, Maximum size transferable with a single LLI is
4095 * 4 =16380 ~ 16KB. So, if we don't have src/dest address aligned to burst
size, we can't use this big of an LLI.

[David] There is a difference between bursts describing the total data
transferred by the DMA controller and AHB bursts. Bursts described by the
programmable parameters in the PL080 have no direct connection with the bursts
that are seen on the AHB bus.

The statement that "Bursts do not cross the 1KB address boundary" in the TRM is
referring to AHB bursts, where this limitation is a requirement of the AHB spec.
You can still issue bursts within the PL080 that are in excess of 1KB. The
PL080 will make sure that its bursts are broken down into legal AHB bursts which
will be formatted to ensure that no AHB burst crosses a 1KB boundary.

Based on above discussion, this patch removes all code related to 1 KB boundary
as we are not required to handle this in driver.
