6f197fb638 lan743x: Added fixed link and RGMII support
Microchip lan7431 is frequently connected to a phy. However, it
can also be directly connected to a MII remote peer without
any phy in between. For supporting such a phyless hardware setup
in Linux we utilized phylib, which supports a fixed-link
configuration via the device tree. And we added support for
defining the connection type R/GMII in the device tree.

New behavior:
-------------
. The automatic speed and duplex detection of the lan743x silicon
  between mac and phy is disabled. Instead phylib is used like in
  other typical Linux drivers. The usage of phylib allows to
  specify fixed-link parameters in the device tree.

. The device tree entry phy-connection-type is supported now with
  the modes RGMII or (G)MII (default).

Development state:
------------------
. Tested with fixed-phy configurations. Not yet tested in normal
  configurations with phy. Microchip kindly offered testing
  as soon as the Corona measures allow this.

. All review findings of Andrew Lunn are included

b6fd7b9636 net: Introduce peer to peer one step PTP time stamping.
The 1588 standard defines one step operation for both Sync and
PDelay_Resp messages.  Up until now, hardware with P2P one step has
been rare, and kernel support was lacking.  This patch adds support of
the mode in anticipation of new hardware developments.

7f9048f1df net: reject PTP periodic output requests with unsupported flags
Commit 823eb2a3c4 ("PTP: add support for one-shot output") introduced
a new flag for the PTP periodic output request ioctl. This flag is not
currently supported by any driver.

Fix all drivers which implement the periodic output request ioctl to
explicitly reject any request with flags they do not understand. This
ensures that the driver does not accidentally misinterpret the
PTP_PEROUT_ONE_SHOT flag, or any new flag introduced in the future.

This is important for forward compatibility: if a new flag is
introduced, the driver should reject requests to enable the flag until
the driver has actually been modified to support the flag in question.

2282001792 Support LAN743x PTP periodic output on any GPIO
The LAN743x Ethernet controller provides two independent PTP event
channels. Each one can be used to generate a periodic output from
the PTP clock. The output can be routed to any one of the available
GPIO pins on the device.

The PTP clock API can now be used to:
- select any LAN743x GPIO pin to function as a periodic output
- select either LAN743x PTP event channel to generate the output

The LAN7430 has 4 GPIO pins that are multiplexed with its internal
PHY LED control signals. A pin assigned to the LED control function
will be assigned to the GPIO function if selected for PTP periodic
output.

399e06a517 ethernet: Delete unnecessary checks before the macro call “dev_kfree_skb”
The dev_kfree_skb() function performs also input parameter validation.
Thus the test around the shown calls is not needed.

This issue was detected by using the Coccinelle software.

0b3e776e2e net: lan743x_ptp: convert to ktime_get_clocktai_ts64
timekeeping_clocktai64() has been renamed to ktime_get_clocktai_ts64()
for consistency with the other ktime_get_* access functions.

Rename the new caller that has come up as well.

Question: this is the only ptp driver that sets the hardware time
to the current system time in TAI. Why does it do that?

Those #ifdef checks are hard to get right, replace them all with
