The video decoder driver was tested by time and works absolutely fine.
The reason why it is in staging is because it doesn't provide common V4L
interface yet, this shouldn't stop driver enabling in the defconfig since
our userspace (libvdpau-tegra) provides combined acceleration of decoding
and displaying without use of V4L.

More fixes for omap variants:
- Update more panel options in omap2plus_defconfig that got changed

- Remove unused twl_keypad for logicpd-torpedo-som to avoid boot
time warnings. This is only a cosmetic fix, but at least dmesg output
is now getting more readable after all the fixes to remove pointless

- Fix gpu_cm node name as we still have a non-standard node name

Some imx chips (6sll, 6ulz, 7ulp) don't have ethernet support and only a
limited number of USB controllers. For such cases NXP suggests
configuring the USB controller as an ethernet gadget for network boot
testing.
Set USB_CONFIGFS to be built into the kernel so that we can configure
the ethernet gadget without needing modules.

Here are a lot of small USB driver fixes for 5.4-rc3.
syzbot has stepped up its testing of the USB driver stack, now able to
trigger fun race conditions between disconnect and probe functions.
Because of that we have a lot of fixes in here from Johan and others
fixing these reported issues that have been around since almost all
time.
We also are just deleting the rio500 driver, making all of the syzbot
bugs found in it moot as it turns out no one has been using it for years
as there is a userspace version that is being used instead.
There are also a number of other small fixes in here, all resolving
reported issues or regressions.
All have been in linux-next without any reported issues.

Enable devfreq events along with drivers for scaling frequency and
voltages of Exynos buses and Dynamic Memory Controller (DMC). This
usually brings energy saving benefits.
So far devfreq was disabled because it was causing hangs during system
reboot (voltage not matching reset frequency). This was already fixed.
Occasionally, devfreq might negatively impact performance of certain SoC
blocks, e.g. when a bus is scaled down but some block (like Mixer with
two Full HD windows) wants to perform high-throughput DMA operations.

Here are fixes for omaps to deal with few regressions, and to fix
more boot time errors and warnings:
- The recent ti-sysc interconnect target module driver changes had
incorrect clock bits for both clocks and dts that cause warnings
- For omap3-gta04, gpio changes caused the LCD to break a while back,
and after discussing things the right fix is to set spi-cs-high
- Recent omapdrm changes to use generic panels caused tfp410 to be
disabled as we now must enable the generic support for it in
defconfig
- Recent omapdrm and backlight changes also finally made droid4 LCD
to work, so let's enable it in the defconfig it can be used out
of the box. This is not strictly a fix, but we still also have the
older CONFIG_MFD_TI_LMU options available so this cuts down the
confusion for trying to guess which display and which backlight
is needed
- Recent ti-sysc interconnect target module changes need the gpio
module disabled on some boards, but this now needs to happen at
the module level, not at the gpio driver level
- Recent changes to probe system timers with ti-sysc caused warnings
about mismatch in syconfig registers, so let's configure the option
for RESET_STATUS as available in the TRMs
- Recent changes to probe LCDC with ti-sysc caused warnings about
mismatch in sysconfig registers, so let's configure the missing
idlemodes for both platform data and dts as documented in TRMs
- Since we moved mach-omap2 to probe with device tree, we've been
getting voltage controller warnings. Turns out this code is no
longer needed, so let's just remove omap2_set_init_voltage() to
get rid of the pointless warnings
- Configure am4372 dispc memory bandwidth to avoid underflow errors

Few fixes for ti-sysc interconnect target module driver for no-idle
quirks that caused nfsroot to fail on some dra7 boards.
And let's fixes to get LCD working again for logicpd board that got
broken a while back with removal of panel-dpi driver. We need to now
use generic CONFIG_DRM_PANEL_SIMPLE instead.

There are three families of IOP machines we support in Linux: iop32x
(which includes EP80219), iop33x and iop13xx (aka IOP34x aka WP8134x).
All products we support in the kernel are based on the first of these,
iop32x, the other families only ever supported the Intel reference
boards but no actual machine anyone could ever buy.
While one could clearly make them all three work in a single kernel
with some work, this takes the easy way out, removing the later two
platforms entirely, under the assumption that there are no remaining
users.
Earlier versions of OpenWRT and Debian both had support for iop32x
but not the others, and they both dropped iop32x as well in their 2015
releases.

This removes the old Winbond w90x900 platform, also known
as Nuvoton NUC900. Wan Zongshun originally contributed
the port and maintained it since then.
From all I can tell, this platform is no longer being used
with modern kernels, based on various indications:
- The supported chips (nuc910/950/960) are no longer marketed
by the manufacturer
- Newer chips from the same family (nuc97x, nuc980, n329x)
that are still marketed have Linux BSPs but those were never
submitted for upstream inclusion.
- The last patch from the platform maintainer was in 2011.
- All patches to w90x900 platform specific files afterwards
are cleanups that were apparently done without access to
test hardware.
- Both the website and the email address listed in the
MAINTAINERS have become unreachable.

This enables on both multi_v7_defconfig and bcm2835_defconfig the new
firmware based clock and cpufreq drivers for the Raspberry Pi platform.
In the case of bcm2835_defconfig, as the cpufreq subsystem was disabled,
the conservative governor was selected as default since it better
handles the high frequency transition latency.

This enables the new or updates driver options for U8500
that got merged into v5.3-rc1:
- CMA, MCDE driver, LIMA driver and the Samsung S6D16D0 driver
enabled by default bringing up the new graphics support.
Include the LOGO so we can see when the graphics are live.
- We use the IIO hwmon bridge for reflecting temperature
in the system.
- Set MUSB to PIO mode as this is the one working most stable
for the time being.
- HWSPINLOCK needs to be set to get the hardware semaphore
driver to compile and link properly.

This addresses some assumptions made by systemd about having multiple
routing table support in the kernel. systemd-networkd will try and
provision mutliple routing tables + policies and will silently break
neighbor advertisement responses due to policy configurations on a
single table.
It also adds support for SLAAC based router settings and faster
duplicate address detection.

most of the material here is fairly boring -- some new drivers turned on

time having moved a lot of entries around.

Some big.LITTLE systems have I-Cache line size mismatch between
LITTLE and big cores. This patch adds a workaround for proper I-Cache
support on such systems. Without it, some class of the userspace code
(typically self-modifying) might suffer from random SIGILL failures.
Similar workaround already exists for ARM64 architecture. I has been
added by commit 116c81f427 ("arm64: Work around systems with mismatched
cache line sizes").

- DRM driver for the BMC's own graphics device
- Error detection and correction
- P2A control, a BMC feature for moving data between the host and BMC
- RTC driver
