For the Bluetooth bits, Gustavo and Johan say:
"To quote Gustavo from his previous request:
'Some last minute fixes for -next. We have a fix for a use after free in
RFCOMM, another fix to an issue with ADV_DIRECT_IND and one for ADV_IND with
auto-connection handling. Last, we added support for reading the codec and
MWS setting for controllers that support these features.'
Additionally there are fixes to LE scanning, an update to conform to the 4.1
core specification as well as fixes for tracking the page scan state. All
of these fixes are important for 3.17."
And,
"We've got:
- 6lowpan fixes/cleanups
- A couple crash fixes, one for the Marvell HCI driver and another in LE SMP.
- Fix for an incorrect connected state check
- Fix for the bondable requirement during pairing (an issue which had
crept in because of using "pairable" when in fact the actual meaning
was "bondable" (these have different meanings in Bluetooth)"
Along with those are some late-breaking hardware support patches in
brcmfmac and b43 as well as a stray ath9k patch.

On top of that is the usual large batch of various driver updates --
brcmfmac, mwifiex, the TI drivers, and wil6210 all get some action.
Rafał has also been very busy with b43 and related updates.
Also, I pulled the wireless tree into this in order to resolve a
merge conflict...

The .init() callback was the first function called by the common
bus function brcmf_bus_start(). Given that it is not really
necessary and the bus layer can call it before calling the
brcmf_bus_start() function.

In tx_finalize the hdrpull is performed. For the new protocol
msgbuf this is complex, because it does not use protocol headers
in front of payload anymore and therefor can not determine interface
index in the hdr pulll operation. Move out the hdrpull operation
from tx_finalize to make msgbuf implementation easier.

When removing the card the driver still tries to access registers
in the device. This patch adds another state for the bus that
indicates the device is no longer reachable. This avoids errors
accessing it while cleaning up the driver.

The destructor for net devices was set to free_netdev() to get rid
of it and the private data. The private data refers to a brcmf_if
instance, but indirectly it also refers to brcmf_cfg80211_vif which
holds the wdev. This is freed as well by using a new custom destructor
called brcmf_cfg80211_free_netdev().

Instead of calling brcmf_cfg80211_detach() in brcmf_del_if() when
deleting the primary interface, call it in brcmf_detach() after

Knowing the firmware version is pretty useful information when
looking at issues. It is retrieved during initialization so
store it in driver data structure to fill the ethtool driver
info when requested.

BCDC is the default protocol layer and being called directly. This
patch installs the functions for this layer dynamically. This allows
new protocols to be added and selected dynamically depending on the
hw capabilties. As currently only BCDC is supported this is always
the installed protocol.

The ioctl() entry points were empty except for handling SIOC_ETHTOOL
but that has been obsoleted in favor of struct ethtool_ops. Cleaning
up removing the ioctl() handlers.

dhd_proto.h was cleaned up and prototypes were moved to dhd.h.
dhd_proto.h was removed. This is a step in cleaning and
restucturing protocol layer.

Moving the call to netif_start_queue() after brcmf_cfg80211_up() is
completed successful. If not return -EIO instead of -1 as that results
in 'Operation not permitted' which can put user on wrong track.

The bus-specific interface allowed a list of dongle commands to be
provided to the common driver part. However, upcoming functionality
requires a more dynamic behaviour. Hence the list is replaced
by a new callback function so the bus-specific driver part can
implement this behaviour.

The common driver needs the packet overhead for the bus in order
to reserve headroom for sk_buffs. For the SDIO driver this depends
on firmware features so it is not possible to provide it in the
brcmf_attach() call.

The driver uses platform_driver_probe() to obtain platform data
if any. However, that function is placed in the .init section so
it must be called upon driver module initialization.
The problem was reported by Fenguang Wu resulting in a kernel
oops because the .init section was already freed.

When fw signalling is disabled tx is sent immediately. Using
queues and worker thread allows usb to do synchronous autopm. This
patch makes fws use queues and worker thread even if signalling is
not supported by FW or not enabled.

This feature moves the responsibility of collecting all MPDUs in an
AMPDU session in the correct order from the firmware to the host
driver. This reduces buffer requirement on the firmware side.

To avoid ending up in a NULL-pointer access, the function

When initialization within brcmf_bus_start() fails on steps
before the brcmf_net_attach() the net_device for the primary
interface needs to be freed.
This patch resolves a panic during kernel boot as reported
by Stephen Warren.

In brcmf_net_attach() the hard_header_len is set to sum of ETH_HLEN
and the headroom needed by the bus interface. Better use increment
instead as hard_header_len is already initialized upon alloc_netdev().

Currently on a bus flow control both fws is informed and netif queue
gets closed. In case of fw signalling enabled, let the flow control
be handled by fw signalling only.

The debug logging in firmware-signalling code was rather extensive and
for a large part in the data path. This patch removes large part or the
level is changed to DATA level.

On bus flow control (no more host bus resources to send packets
to device) the netif flow control was toggled, however credit
management should also take this status into account. Since there
are multiple sources handling this flow control necessary spinlocks
were added to protect flow control related data/states.

Upon deleting a P2P_CLIENT/GO interface the vif and consequently
the wdev is freed before the net_device is actually being unregistered
but cfg80211 still needs to access the wdev. Using destructor field
to free the net_device and vif.

When registration fails the net device is no longer needed. Free
the net device and remove reference to private data from the
driver.

In brcmf_fws_init() the error flows were not properly handled
and the caller ignored the return value. The only action that
is allowed to fail in brcmf_fws_init() is setting the tlv in
firmware as the feature is not supported on all devices.

In function brcmf_add_if() an error message is printed
upon alloc_netdev() failure. The allocation failure itself
spews enough info in the log so remove the error message.

For P2P_DEVICE interface the struct brcmf_if instance is
allocated using kzalloc() which can fail. Add pointer
check and return -ENOMEM if it failed. Fixes the following
smatch error:

In brcmf_rx_frames() the call to brcmf_fweh_process_skb() could
change the ifidx using information in the event data. This is
only different to the BDC ifidx for IF ADD event. However, the
creation of the new interface is deferred to event worker so
it does not exist. After brcmf_fweh_process_skb() it is only
used to set statistics.

The firmware sends a IF event to notify the host driver that the
P2P_DEVICE interface has been created. Wait for the event before
returning the related wireless_dev.

When firmware-signalling is active the brcmf_txcomplete() does
a free of the sk_buff when transfer to firmware fails in the
bus-specific driver code. However, it should also cleanup the
packet from the hanger. This patch fixes that.

Upcoming patches will add firmware signalled flow control. Prepare
by adding the mode, which defaults to disable it. The mode can be
queried by brcmf_fws_fc_active() and set by a module parameter.

Currently, the netif queue is only stopped when the bus interface is
giving a push back. This will change soon so prepare the driver by
adding a stop reason and stop/resume the queue accordingly.

The function brcmf_proto_hdrpush() increases the header space and
fills in the protocol header fields. One field is the data offset
which is currently fixed to zero meaning the data follows right
after the header. The parameter is added to determine the actual
start of data. This will be used for firmware signalling.
