Currently, most of the rt6_stats are not hooked up correctly. As the
last part of this patch series, hook up all existing rt6_stats and add
one new stat fib_rt_uncache to indicate the number of routes in the
uncached list.
For details of the stats, please refer to the comments added in
include/net/ip6_fib.h.
Note: fib_rt_alloc and fib_rt_uncache are not guaranteed to be modified
under a lock. So atomic_t is used for them.

With all the preparation work before, we are now ready to replace rwlock
with rcu and spinlock in fib6_table.
That means now all fib6_node in fib6_table are protected by rcu. And
when freeing fib6_node, call_rcu() is used to wait for the rcu grace
period before releasing the memory.
When accessing fib6_node, corresponding rcu APIs need to be used.
And all previous sessions protected by the write lock will now be
protected by the spin lock per table.
All previous sessions protected by read lock will now be protected by
rcu_read_lock().
A couple of things to note here:
1. As part of the work of replacing rwlock with rcu, the linked list of
fn->leaf now has to be rcu protected as well. So both fn->leaf and
rt->dst.rt6_next are now __rcu tagged and corresponding rcu APIs are
used when manipulating them.
2. For fn->rr_ptr, first of all, it also needs to be rcu protected now
and is tagged with __rcu and rcu APIs are used in corresponding places.
Secondly, fn->rr_ptr is changed in rt6_select() which is a reader
thread. This makes the issue a bit complicated. We think a valid
solution for it is to let rt6_select() grab the tb6_lock if it decides
to change it. As it is not in the normal operation and only happens when
there is no valid neighbor cache for the route, we think the performance
impact should be low.
3. fib6_walk_continue() has to be called with tb6_lock held even in the
route dumping related functions, e.g. inet6_dump_fib(),
fib6_tables_dump() and ipv6_route_seq_ops. It is because
fib6_walk_continue() makes modifications to the walker structure, and so
are fib6_repair_tree() and fib6_del_route(). In order to do proper
syncing between them, we need to let fib6_walk_continue() hold the lock.
We may be able to do further improvement on the way we do the tree walk
to get rid of the need for holding the spin lock. But not for now.
4. When fib6_del_route() removes a route from the tree, we no longer
mark rt->dst.rt6_next to NULL to make simultaneous reader be able to
further traverse the list with rcu. However, rt->dst.rt6_next is only
valid within this same rcu period. No one should access it later.
5. All the operation of atomic_inc(rt->rt6i_ref) is changed to be
performed before we publish this route (either by linking it to fn->leaf
or insert it in the list pointed by fn->leaf) just to be safe because as
soon as we publish the route, some read thread will be able to access it.

If rwlock is replaced with rcu and spinlock, it is possible that the
reader thread will see fn->leaf as NULL in the following scenarios:
1. fib6_add() is in progress and we have already inserted a new node but
not yet inserted the route.
2. fib6_del_route() is in progress and we have already set fn->leaf to
NULL but not yet freed the node because of rcu grace period.
This patch makes sure all the reader threads check fn->leaf first before
using it. And together with later patch to grab rcu_read_lock() and
rcu_dereference() fn->leaf, it makes sure reader threads are safe when
accessing fn->leaf.

fib6_add() logic currently calls fib6_add_1() to figure out what node
should be used for the newly added route and then call
fib6_add_rt2node() to insert the route to the node.
And during the call of fib6_add_1(), fn_sernum is updated for all nodes
that share the same prefix as the new route.
This does not have issue in the current code because reader thread will
not be able to access the tree while writer thread is inserting new
route to it. However, it is not the case once we transition to use RCU.
Reader thread could potentially see the new fn_sernum before the new
route is inserted. As a result, reader thread's route lookup will return
a stale route with the new fn_sernum.
In order to solve this issue, we remove all the update of fn_sernum in
fib6_add_1(), and instead, introduce a new function that updates fn_sernum
for all related nodes and call this functions once the route is
successfully inserted to the tree.
Also, smp_wmb() is used after a route is successfully inserted into the
fib tree and right before the updated of fn->sernum. And smp_rmb() is
used right after fn->sernum is accessed in rt6_get_cookie_safe(). This
is to guarantee that when the reader thread sees the new fn->sernum, the
new route is already inserted in the tree in memory.

After rwlock is replaced with rcu and spinlock, route lookup can happen
simultanously with route deletion.
This patch removes the call to free_percpu(rt->rt6i_pcpu) from
rt6_release() to avoid the race condition between rt6_release() and
rt6_get_pcpu_route(). And as free_percpu(rt->rt6i_pcpu) is already
called in ip6_dst_destroy() after the rcu grace period, it is safe to do
this change.

This commit makes use of the exception hash table implementation to
store dst caches created by pmtu discovery and ip redirect into the hash
table under the rt_info and no longer inserts these routes into fib6
tree.
This makes the fib6 tree only contain static configured routes and could
now be protected by rcu instead of a rw lock.
With this change, in the route lookup related functions, after finding
the rt6_info with the longest prefix, we also need to search for the
exception table before doing backtracking.
In the route delete function, if the route being deleted is not a dst
cache, deletion of this route also need to flush the whole hash table
under it. If it is a dst cache, then only delete the cached dst in the
hash table.
Note: for fib6_walk_continue() function, w->root now is always pointing
to a root node considering that fib6_prune_clones() is removed from the
code. So we add a WARN_ON() msg to make sure w->root always points to a
root node and also removed the update of w->root in fib6_repair_tree().
This is a prerequisite for later patch because we don't need to make
w->root as rcu protected when replacing rwlock with RCU.
Also, we remove all prune related variables as it is no longer used.

fib6_locate() is used to find the fib6_node according to the passed in
prefix address key. It currently tries to find the fib6_node with the
exact match of the passed in key. However, when we move cached routes
into the exception table, fib6_locate() will fail to find the fib6_node
for it as the cached routes will be stored in the exception table under
the fib6_node with the longest prefix match of the cache's dst addr key.
This commit adds a new parameter to let the caller specify if it needs
exact match or longest prefix match.
Right now, all callers still does exact match when calling
fib6_locate(). It will be changed in later commit where exception table
is hooked up to store cached routes.

fib6_net_exit only frees the main and local tables. If another table was
created with fib6_alloc_table, we leak it when the netns is destroyed.
Fix this in the same way ip_fib_net_exit cleans up tables, by walking

special cases for local and main, since they're also part of the
hashtable.

Now it doesn't check for the cached route expiration in ipv6's
dst_ops->check(), because it trusts dst_gc that would clean the
cached route up when it's expired.
The problem is in dst_gc, it would clean the cached route only
when it's refcount is 1. If some other module (like xfrm) keeps
holding it and the module only release it when dst_ops->check()
fails.
But without checking for the cached route expiration, .check()
may always return true. Meanwhile, without releasing the cached
route, dst_gc couldn't del it. It will cause this cached route
never to expire.
This patch is to set dst.obsolete with DST_OBSOLETE_KILL in .gc
when it's expired, and check obsolete != DST_OBSOLETE_FORCE_CHK
in .check.
Note that this is even needed when ipv6 dst_gc timer is removed
one day. It would set dst.obsolete in .redirect and .update_pmtu
instead, and check for cached route expiration when getting it,
just like what ipv4 route does.

We currently keep rt->rt6i_node pointing to the fib6_node for the route.
And some functions make use of this pointer to dereference the fib6_node
from rt structure, e.g. rt6_check(). However, as there is neither
refcount nor rcu taken when dereferencing rt->rt6i_node, it could
potentially cause crashes as rt->rt6i_node could be set to NULL by other
CPUs when doing a route deletion.
This patch introduces an rcu grace period before freeing fib6_node and
makes sure the functions that dereference it takes rcu_read_lock().

In fib6_add(), it is possible that fib6_add_1() picks an intermediate
node and sets the node's fn->leaf to NULL in order to add this new
route. However, if fib6_add_rt2node() fails to add the new
route for some reason, fn->leaf will be left as NULL and could
potentially cause crash when fn->leaf is accessed in fib6_locate().
This patch makes sure fib6_repair_tree() is called to properly repair
fn->leaf in the above failure case.

The code currently assumes that only FIB nodes can hold a reference on
routes. Therefore, after fib6_purge_rt() has run and the route is no
longer present in any intermediate nodes, it's assumed that its
reference count would be 1 - taken by the node where it's currently
stored.
However, we're going to allow users other than the FIB to take a
reference on a route, so this assumption is no longer valid and the
BUG_ON() needs to be removed.
Note that purging only takes place if the initial reference count is
different than 1. I've left that check intact, as in the majority of
systems (where routes are only referenced by the FIB), it does actually
mean the route is present in intermediate nodes.

Dump all the FIB tables in each net namespace upon registration to the
FIB notification chain so that the callee will have a complete view of
the tables.
The integrity of the dump is ensured by a per-table sequence counter
that is incremented (under write lock) whenever a route is added or
deleted from the table.
All the sequence counters are read (under each table's read lock) and
summed, prior and after the dump. In case the counters differ, then the
dump is either restarted or the registration fails.
While it's possible for a table to be modified after its counter has
been read, this isn't really a problem. In case it happened before it
was read the second time, then the comparison at the end will fail. If
it happened afterwards, then we're guaranteed to be notified about the
change, as the notification block is registered prior to the second
read.

As with IPv4, allow listeners of the FIB notification chain to receive
notifications whenever a route is added, replaced or deleted. This is
done by placing calls to the FIB notification chain in the two lowest
level functions that end up performing these operations - namely,
fib6_add_rt2node() and fib6_del_route().
Unlike IPv4, APPEND notifications aren't sent as the kernel doesn't
distinguish between "append" (NLM_F_CREATE|NLM_F_APPEND) and "prepend"
(NLM_F_CREATE). If NLM_F_EXCL isn't set, duplicate routes are always

DST_NOCACHE flag check has been removed from dst_release() and
dst_hold_safe() in a previous patch because all the dst are now ref

Looking at the rest of the DST_NOCACHE use, all of them can now be
removed or replaced with other checks.
So this patch gets rid of all the DST_NOCACHE usage and remove this flag

With the previous preparation patches, we are ready to get rid of the
dst gc operation in ipv6 code and release dst based on refcnt only.
So this patch adds DST_NOGC flag for all IPv6 dst and remove the calls
to dst_free() and its related functions.
At this point, all dst created in ipv6 code do not use the dst gc
anymore and will be destroyed at the point when refcnt drops to 0.
Also, as icmp6 dst route is refcounted during creation and will be freed
by user during its call of dst_release(), there is no need to add this
dst to the icmp6 gc list as well.
Instead, we need to add it into uncached list so that when a
NETDEV_DOWN/NETDEV_UNREGISRER event comes, we can properly go through
these icmp6 dst as well and release the net device properly.

As the intend of this patch series is to completely remove dst gc,
we need to call dst_dev_put() to release the reference to dst->dev
when removing routes from fib because we won't keep the gc list anymore
and will lose the dst pointer right after removing the routes.
Without the gc list, there is no way to find all the dst's that have
dst->dev pointing to the going-down dev.
Hence, we are doing dst_dev_put() immediately before we lose the last
reference of the dst from the routing code. The next dst_check() will
trigger a route re-lookup to find another route (if there is any).

In IPv6 routing code, struct rt6_info is created for each static route
and RTF_CACHE route and inserted into fib6 tree. In both cases, dst
ref count is not taken.
As explained in the previous patch, this leads to the need of the dst
garbage collector.
This patch holds ref count of dst before inserting the route into fib6
tree and properly releases the dst when deleting it from the fib6 tree
as a preparation in order to fully get rid of dst gc later.
Also, correct fib6_age() logic to check dst->__refcnt to be 1 to indicate
no user is referencing the dst.
And remove dst_hold() in vrf_rt6_create() as ip6_dst_alloc() already puts
dst->__refcnt to 1.

Commit 2759647247 ("ipv6: fix ECMP route replacement") introduced a
loop that removes all siblings of an ECMP route that is being
replaced. However, this loop doesn't stop when it has replaced
siblings, and keeps removing other routes with a higher metric.
We also end up triggering the WARN_ON after the loop, because after
this nsiblings < 0.
Instead, stop the loop when we have taken care of all routes with the
same metric as the route being replaced.

If an entire multipath route is deleted using prefix and len (without any
nexthops), send a single RTM_DELROUTE notification with the full route
using RTA_MULTIPATH. This is done by generating the skb before the route
delete when all of the sibling routes are still present but sending it
after the route has been removed from the FIB. The skip_notify flag
is used to tell the lower fib code not to send notifications for the
individual nexthop routes.
If a route is deleted using RTA_MULTIPATH for any nexthops or a single
nexthop entry is deleted, then the nexthops are deleted one at a time with
notifications sent as each hop is deleted. This is necessary given that
IPv6 allows individual hops within a route to be deleted.

Change ip6_route_multipath_add to send one notifciation with the full
route encoded with RTA_MULTIPATH instead of a series of individual routes.
This is done by adding a skip_notify flag to the nl_info struct. The
flag is used to skip sending of the notification in the fib code that
actually inserts the route. Once the full route has been added, a
notification is generated with all nexthops.
ip6_route_multipath_add handles 3 use cases: new routes, route replace,
and route append. The multipath notification generated needs to be
consistent with the order of the nexthops and it should be consistent
with the order in a FIB dump which means the route with the first nexthop
needs to be used as the route reference. For the first 2 cases (new and
replace), a reference to the route used to send the notification is
obtained by saving the first route added. For the append case, the last
route added is used to loop back to its first sibling route which is
the first nexthop in the multipath route.

IPv6 returns multipath routes as a series of individual routes making
their display and handling by userspace different and more complicated
than IPv4, putting the burden on the user to see that a route is part of
a multipath route and internally creating a multipath route if desired
(e.g., libnl does this as of commit 29b71371e764). This patch addresses
this difference, allowing multipath routes to be returned using the
RTA_MULTIPATH attribute.
The end result is that IPv6 multipath routes can be treated and displayed
in a format similar to IPv4:

Since commit 37a1d3611c ("ipv6: include NLM_F_REPLACE in route
replace notifications"), RTM_NEWROUTE notifications have their
NLM_F_REPLACE flag set if the new route replaced a preexisting one.
However, other flags aren't set.
This patch reports the missing NLM_F_CREATE and NLM_F_EXCL flag bits.
NLM_F_APPEND is not reported, because in ipv6 a NLM_F_CREATE request
is interpreted as an append request (contrary to ipv4, "prepend" is not
supported, so if NLM_F_EXCL is not set then NLM_F_APPEND is implicit).
As a result, the possible flag combination can now be reported
(iproute2's terminology into parentheses):
* NLM_F_CREATE | NLM_F_EXCL: route didn't exist, exclusive creation
("add").
* NLM_F_CREATE: route did already exist, new route added after
preexisting ones ("append").
* NLM_F_REPLACE: route did already exist, new route replaced the
first preexisting one ("change").

a problem if we encapsulate ipv6 traffic in an ipv4 tunnel (or vice versa).
The xmit function of the tunnel does not know whether the packet has been

When replacing an IPv6 multipath route with "ip route replace", i.e.
NLM_F_CREATE | NLM_F_REPLACE, fib6_add_rt2node() replaces only first
matching route without fixing its siblings, resulting in corrupted
siblings linked list; removing one of the siblings can then end in an
infinite loop.
IPv6 ECMP implementation is a bit different from IPv4 so that route
replacement cannot work in exactly the same way. This should be a
reasonable approximation:
1. If the new route is ECMP-able and there is a matching ECMP-able one
already, replace it and all its siblings (if any).
2. If the new route is ECMP-able and no matching ECMP-able route exists,
replace first matching non-ECMP-able (if any) or just add the new one.
3. If the new route is not ECMP-able, replace first matching
non-ECMP-able route (if any) or add the new route.
We also need to remove the NLM_F_REPLACE flag after replacing old
route(s) by first nexthop of an ECMP route so that each subsequent
nexthop does not replace previous one.

if (genlmsg_end(...) < 0) { ... }
be a whole bunch of dead code. Many places also simply do
return nlmsg_end(...);
and the caller is expected to deal with it.
This also commonly (at least for me) causes errors, because it is very
common to write
if (my_function(...))
/* error condition */
and if my_function() does "return nlmsg_end()" this is of course wrong.
Additionally, there's not a single place in the kernel that actually
needs the message length returned, and if anyone needs it later then
it'll be very easy to just use skb->len there.
Remove this, and make the functions void. This removes a bunch of dead
code as described above. The patch adds lines because I did
- return nlmsg_end(...);
+ nlmsg_end(...);
+ return 0;
I could have preserved all the function's return values by returning
skb->len, but instead I've audited all the places calling the affected
functions and found that none cared. A few places actually compared
the return value with <= 0 in dump functionality, but that could just
be changed to < 0 with no change in behaviour, so I opted for the more
efficient version.
One instance of the error I've made numerous times now is also present
in net/phonet/pn_netlink.c in the route_dumpit() function - it didn't
check for <0 or <=0 and thus broke out of the loop every single time.
I've preserved this since it will (I think) have caused the messages to
userspace to be formatted differently with just a single message for
every SKB returned to userspace. It's possible that this isn't needed
for the tools that actually use this, but I don't even know what they
are so couldn't test that changing this behaviour would be acceptable.

When IPv6 host routes with metrics attached are being added, we fetch
the metrics store from the dst via COW through dst_metrics_write_ptr(),
added through commit e5fd387ad5.
One remaining problem here is that we actually call into inet_getpeer()
and may end up allocating/creating a new peer from the kmemcache, which
may fail.
Example trace from perf probe (inet_getpeer:41) where create is 1:
ip 6877 [002] 4221.391591: probe:inet_getpeer: (ffffffff8165e293)
85e294 inet_getpeer.part.7 (<- kmem_cache_alloc())
85e578 inet_getpeer
8eb333 ipv6_cow_metrics
8f10ff fib6_commit_metrics
Therefore, a check for NULL on the return of dst_metrics_write_ptr()
is necessary here.

Eric Dumazet noticed that all no-nonexthop or no-gateway routes which
are already marked DST_HOST (e.g. input routes routes) will always be
invalidated during sk_dst_check. Thus per-socket dst caching absolutely
had no effect and early demuxing had no effect.
Thus this patch removes rt6i_genid: fn_sernum already gets modified during
add operations, so we only must ensure we mutate fn_sernum during ipv6
address remove operations. This is a fairly cost extensive operations,
but address removal should not happen that often. Also our mtu update
functions do the same and we heard no complains so far. xfrm policy
changes also cause a call into fib6_flush_trees. Also plug a hole in
rt6_info (no cacheline changes).
I verified via tracing that this change has effect.

When the ipv6 fib changes during a table dump, the walk is
restarted and the number of nodes dumped are skipped. But the existing
code doesn't advance to the next node after a node is skipped. This can
cause the dump to loop or produce lots of duplicates when the fib
is modified during the dump.
This change advances the walk to the next node if the current node is
skipped after a restart.

If an IPv6 host route with metrics exists, an attempt to add a
new route for the same target with different metrics fails but
rewrites the metrics anyway:
12sp0:~ # ip route add fec0::1 dev eth0 rto_min 1000
12sp0:~ # ip -6 route show
fe80::/64 dev eth0 proto kernel metric 256
fec0::1 dev eth0 metric 1024 rto_min lock 1s
12sp0:~ # ip route add fec0::1 dev eth0 rto_min 1500
RTNETLINK answers: File exists
12sp0:~ # ip -6 route show
fe80::/64 dev eth0 proto kernel metric 256
fec0::1 dev eth0 metric 1024 rto_min lock 1.5s
This is caused by all IPv6 host routes using the metrics in
their inetpeer (or the shared default). This also holds for the
new route created in ip6_route_add() which shares the metrics
with the already existing route and thus ip6_route_add()
rewrites the metrics even if the new route ends up not being
used at all.
Another problem is that old metrics in inetpeer can reappear
unexpectedly for a new route, e.g.
12sp0:~ # ip route add fec0::1 dev eth0 rto_min 1000
12sp0:~ # ip route del fec0::1
12sp0:~ # ip route add fec0::1 dev eth0
12sp0:~ # ip route change fec0::1 dev eth0 hoplimit 10
12sp0:~ # ip -6 route show
fe80::/64 dev eth0 proto kernel metric 256
fec0::1 dev eth0 metric 1024 hoplimit 10 rto_min lock 1s
Resolve the first problem by moving the setting of metrics down
into fib6_add_rt2node() to the point we are sure we are
inserting the new route into the tree. Second problem is
addressed by introducing new flag DST_METRICS_FORCE_OVERWRITE
which is set for a new host route in ip6_route_add() and makes
ipv6_cow_metrics() always overwrite the metrics in inetpeer
(even if they are not "new"); it is reset after that.
v5: use a flag in _metrics member rather than one in flags
v4: fix a typo making a condition always true (thanks to Hannes
Frederic Sowa)
v3: rewritten based on David Miller's idea to move setting the
metrics (and allocation in non-host case) down to the point we
already know the route is to be inserted. Also rebased to
net-next as it is quite late in the cycle.

11-order allocations in seq_file (which fail). While we could switch

When the kernel is compiled with CONFIG_IPV6_SUBTREES, and we return
with an error in fn = fib6_add_1(), then error codes are encoded into
the return pointer e.g. ERR_PTR(-ENOENT). In such an error case, we
write the error code into err and jump to out, hence enter the if(err)
condition. Now, if CONFIG_IPV6_SUBTREES is enabled, we check for:
if (pn != fn && pn->leaf == rt)
...
if (pn != fn && !pn->leaf && !(pn->fn_flags & RTN_RTINFO))
...
Since pn is NULL and fn is f.e. ERR_PTR(-ENOENT), then pn != fn
evaluates to true and causes a NULL-pointer dereference on further
checks on pn. Fix it, by setting both NULL in error case, so that
pn != fn already evaluates to false and no further dereference
takes place.
This was first correctly implemented in 4a287eba2 ("IPv6 routing,
NLM_F_* flag support: REPLACE and EXCL flags support, warn about
missing CREATE flag"), but the bug got later on introduced by
188c517a0 ("ipv6: return errno pointers consistently for fib6_add_1()").

As pointed out by Eric Dumazet, net->ipv6.ip6_rt_last_gc should
hold the last time garbage collector was run so that we should
update it whenever fib6_run_gc() calls fib6_clean_all(), not only
if we got there from ip6_dst_gc().
Signed-off-by: Michal Kubecek <mkubecek@suse.cz>
Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
On a high-traffic router with many processors and many IPv6 dst
entries, soft lockup in fib6_run_gc() can occur when number of
entries reaches gc_thresh.
This happens because fib6_run_gc() uses fib6_gc_lock to allow
only one thread to run the garbage collector but ip6_dst_gc()
doesn't update net->ipv6.ip6_rt_last_gc until fib6_run_gc()
returns. On a system with many entries, this can take some time
so that in the meantime, other threads pass the tests in
ip6_dst_gc() (ip6_rt_last_gc is still not updated) and wait for
the lock. They then have to run the garbage collector one after
another which blocks them for quite long.
Resolve this by replacing special value ~0UL of expire parameter
to fib6_run_gc() by explicit "force" parameter to choose between
spin_lock_bh() and spin_trylock_bh() and call fib6_run_gc() with
force=false if gc_thresh is reached but not max_size.

Static routes in this case are non-expiring routes which did not get
configured by autoconf or by icmpv6 redirects.
To make sure we actually get an ecmp route while searching for the first
one in this fib6_node's leafs, also make sure it matches the ecmp route
assumptions.
v2:
a) Removed RTF_EXPIRE check in dst.from chain. The check of RTF_ADDRCONF
already ensures that this route, even if added again without
RTF_EXPIRES (in case of a RA announcement with infinite timeout),
does not cause the rt6i_nsiblings logic to go wrong if a later RA
updates the expiration time later.
v3:
a) Allow RTF_EXPIRES routes to enter the ecmp route set. We have to do so,
because an pmtu event could update the RTF_EXPIRES flag and we would
not count this route, if another route joins this set. We now filter
only for RTF_GATEWAY|RTF_ADDRCONF|RTF_DYNAMIC, which are flags that
don't get changed after rt6_info construction.

I'm not sure why, but the hlist for each entry iterators were conceived
list_for_each_entry(pos, head, member)
The hlist ones were greedy and wanted an extra parameter:
hlist_for_each_entry(tpos, pos, head, member)
Why did they need an extra pos parameter? I'm not quite sure. Not only
they don't really need it, it also prevents the iterator from looking
exactly like the list iterator, which is unfortunate.
Besides the semantic patch, there was some manual work required:
- Fix up the actual hlist iterators in linux/list.h
- Fix up the declaration of other iterators based on the hlist ones.
- A very small amount of places were using the 'node' parameter, this
was modified to use 'obj->member' instead.
- Coccinelle didn't handle the hlist_for_each_entry_safe iterator
properly, so those had to be fixed up manually.

Each nexthop is added like a single route in the routing table. All routes
that have the same metric/weight and destination but not the same gateway
are considering as ECMP routes. They are linked together, through a list called
rt6i_siblings.
ECMP routes can be added in one shot, with RTA_MULTIPATH attribute or one after
the other (in both case, the flag NLM_F_EXCL should not be set).
