Previously the driver used pcie_get_minimum_link() to warn when the NIC
is in a slot that can't supply as much bandwidth as the NIC could use.
pcie_get_minimum_link() can be misleading because it finds the slowest link
and the narrowest link (which may be different links) without considering
the total bandwidth of each link. For a path with a 16 GT/s x1 link and a
2.5 GT/s x16 link, it returns 2.5 GT/s x1, which corresponds to 250 MB/s of
bandwidth, not the true available bandwidth of about 1969 MB/s for a
16 GT/s x1 link.
Use pcie_print_link_status() to report PCIe link speed and possible
limitations instead of implementing this in the driver itself. This finds
the slowest link in the path to the device by computing the total bandwidth
of each link and compares that with the capabilities of the device.
The dmesg change is:
- %s (%c%d) PCI-E x%d %s found at mem %lx, IRQ %d, node addr %pM
+ %s (%c%d) PCI-E found at mem %lx, IRQ %d, node addr %pM
+ %u.%03u Gb/s available PCIe bandwidth (%s x%d link)

The current code already forwards the VF MAC address to the PF, except
in one case. If the VF driver gets a valid MAC address from the firmware
during probe time, it will not forward the MAC address to the PF,
incorrectly assuming that the PF already knows the MAC address. This
causes "ip link show" to show zero VF MAC addresses for this case.
This assumption is not correct. Newer firmware remembers the VF MAC
address last used by the VF and provides it to the VF driver during
probe. So we need to always forward the VF MAC address to the PF.
The forwarded MAC address may now be the PF assigned MAC address and so we
need to make sure we approve it for this case.

A recent change to reduce delay granularity waiting for firmware
reponse has caused a regression. With a tighter delay loop,
the driver may see the beginning part of the response faster.
The original 5 usec delay to wait for the rest of the message
is not long enough and some messages are detected as invalid.
Increase the maximum wait time from 5 usec to 20 usec. Also, fix
the debug message that shows the total delay time for the response
when the message times out. With the new logic, the delay time
is not fixed per iteration of the loop, so we define a macro to

Initially, the MQPRIO TCs are mapped 1:1 directly to the hardware
queues. Some of these hardware queues are configured to be lossless.
When PFC is enabled on one of more TCs, we now need to remap the
TCs that have PFC enabled to the lossless hardware queues.
After remapping, we need to close and open the NIC for the new
mapping to take effect. We also need to reprogram all ETS parameters.

The current driver maps MQPRIO traffic classes directly 1:1 to the
internal hardware queues (TC0 maps to hardware queue 0, etc). This
direct mapping requires the internal hardware queues to be reconfigured
from lossless to lossy and vice versa when necessary. This
involves reconfiguring internal buffer thresholds which is
disruptive and not always reliable.
Implement a new scheme to map TCs to internal hardware queues by
matching up their PFC requirements. This will eliminate the need
to reconfigure a hardware queue internal buffers at run time. After
remapping, the NIC is closed and opened for the new TC to hardware
queues to take effect.

While adding the DSA notifier, we will be sending DSA notifications with
info->master that is going to point to a particular net_device instance.
Our logic in bcm_sysport_map_queues() correctly disambiguates net_device
instances that are not covered by our own driver, but it will not make
sure that info->master points to a particular driver instance that we
are interested in. In a system where e.g: two or more SYSTEMPORT
instances are registered, this would lead in programming two or more
times the queue mapping, completely messing with the logic which does
the queue/port allocation and tracking.
Fix this by looking at the notifier_block pointer which is unique per
instance and allows us to go back to our driver private structure, and
in turn to the backing net_device instance.

flower skip_sw action drop
$ tc filter add dev p1p1 parent ffff: protocol ipv4 \

The current flow offload infrastructure used does not support wildcard
matching for ethernet headers, so do not allow the second or third
commands to succeed. If a user wants to drop traffic on that interface
the protocol and MAC addresses need to be specified explicitly:
$ tc qdisc add dev p1p1 ingress
$ tc filter add dev p1p1 parent ffff: protocol arp \

$ tc filter add dev p1p1 parent ffff: protocol ipv4 \

flower skip_sw src_mac 00:02:00:00:00:02 action drop
...
There are also checks for VLAN parameters in this patch as other callers
may wildcard those parameters even if tc does not. Using different

When firmware sends a DMA response to the driver, the last byte of the
message will be set to 1 to indicate that the whole response is valid.
The driver waits for the message to be valid before reading the message.
The firmware spec allows these response messages to increase in
length by adding new fields to the end of these messages. The
older spec's valid location may become a new field in a newer
spec. To guarantee compatibility, the driver should zero the valid
byte before interpreting the entire message so that any new fields not
implemented by the older spec will be read as zero.
For messages that are forwarded to VFs, we need to set the length
and re-instate the valid bit so the VF will see the valid response.

Code includes wmb() followed by writel(). writel() already has a barrier on
some architectures like arm64.
This ends up CPU observing two barriers back to back before executing the
register write.
Create a new wrapper function with relaxed write operator. Use the new
wrapper when a write is following a wmb().
Since code already has an explicit barrier call, changing writel() to
writel_relaxed().
Also add mmiowb() so that write code doesn't move outside of scope.

barrier() doesn't guarantee memory writes to be observed by the hardware on

There is no need for complex checking between the last consumed index
and current consumed index, a simple subtraction will do.
This also eliminates the possibility of a permanent transmit queue stall
under the following conditions:
- one CPU bursts ring->size worth of traffic (up to 256 buffers), to the
point where we run out of free descriptors, so we stop the transmit
queue at the end of bcm_sysport_xmit()
- because of our locking, we have the transmit process disable
interrupts which means we can be blocking the TX reclamation process
- when TX reclamation finally runs, we will be computing the difference
between ring->c_index (last consumed index by SW) and what the HW
reports through its register
- this register is masked with (ring->size - 1) = 0xff, which will lead
to stripping the upper bits of the index (register is 16-bits wide)
- we will be computing last_tx_cn as 0, which means there is no work to
be done, and we never wake-up the transmit queue, leaving it
permanently disabled
A practical example is e.g: ring->c_index aka last_c_index = 12, we
pushed 256 entries, HW consumer index = 268, we mask it with 0xff = 12,
so last_tx_cn == 0, nothing happens.

Instead of the old method of evenly dividing the resources to the VFs,
use the new firmware API to specify min and max resources for each VF.
This way, there is more flexibility for each VF to allocate more or less
resources.
The min is the absolute minimum for each VF to function. The max is the
global resources minus the resources used by the PF. Each VF is
guaranteed the min. Up to max resources may be available for some VFs.
The PF driver can use one of 2 strategies specified in NVRAM to assign
the resources. The old legacy strategy of evenly dividing the resources

The new method will call firmware to reserve the desired tx, rx, cmpl
rings, ring groups, stats context, and vnic resources. A second query
call will check the actual resources that firmware is able to reserve.
The driver will then trim and adjust based on the actual resources
provided by firmware. The driver will then reserve the final resources
in use.
This method is a more flexible way of using hardware resources. The
resources are not fixed and can by adjusted by firmware. The driver
adapts to the available resources that the firmware can reserve for

I see two issues with parameter new_link:
1. It's not needed. See also phy_interrupt(), works w/o this parameter.
phy_mac_interrupt sets the state to PHY_CHANGELINK and triggers the
state machine which then calls phy_read_status. And phy_read_status
updates the link state.
2. phy_mac_interrupt is used in interrupt context and getting the link
state may sleep (at least when having to access the PHY registers
via MDIO bus).
So let's remove it.

In bnxt_vf_ndo_prep (which is called by bnxt_get_vf_config ndo), there is a
check for "Invalid VF id". Currently, the check is done against max_vfs.
However, the user doesn't always create max_vfs. So, the check should be
against the created number of VFs. The number of bnxt_vf_info structures
that are allocated in bnxt_alloc_vf_resources routine is the "number of
requested VFs". So, if an "invalid VF id" falls between the requested
number of VFs and the max_vfs, the driver will be dereferencing an invalid
pointer.

pull-request: bpf-next 2018-01-07
The following pull-request contains BPF updates for your *net-next* tree.
The main changes are:
1) Add a start of a framework for extending struct xdp_buff without
having the overhead of populating every data at runtime. Idea
is to have a new per-queue struct xdp_rxq_info that holds read
mostly data (currently that is, queue number and a pointer to
the corresponding netdev) which is set up during rxqueue config
time. When a XDP program is invoked, struct xdp_buff holds a
pointer to struct xdp_rxq_info that the BPF program can then
walk. The user facing BPF program that uses struct xdp_md for
context can use these members directly, and the verifier rewrites
context access transparently by walking the xdp_rxq_info and
net_device pointers to load the data, from Jesper.
2) Redo the reporting of offload device information to user space
such that it works in combination with network namespaces. The
latter is reported through a device/inode tuple as similarly
done in other subsystems as well (e.g. perf) in order to identify
the namespace. For this to work, ns_get_path() has been generalized
such that the namespace can be retrieved not only from a specific
task (perf case), but also from a callback where we deduce the
netns (ns_common) from a netdevice. bpftool support using the new
uapi info and extensive test cases for test_offload.py in BPF
selftests have been added as well, from Jakub.
3) Add two bpftool improvements: i) properly report the bpftool
version such that it corresponds to the version from the kernel
source tree. So pick the right linux/version.h from the source
tree instead of the installed one. ii) fix bpftool and also
bpf_jit_disasm build with bintutils >= 2.9. The reason for the
build breakage is that binutils library changed the function
signature to select the disassembler. Given this is needed in
multiple tools, add a proper feature detection to the
tools/build/features infrastructure, from Roman.
4) Implement the BPF syscall command BPF_MAP_GET_NEXT_KEY for the
stacktrace map. It is currently unimplemented, but there are
use cases where user space needs to walk all stacktrace map
entries e.g. for dumping or deleting map entries w/o having to
close and recreate the map. Add BPF selftests along with it,
from Yonghong.
5) Few follow-up cleanups for the bpftool cgroup code: i) rename
the cgroup 'list' command into 'show' as we have it for other
subcommands as well, ii) then alias the 'show' command such that
'list' is accepted which is also common practice in iproute2,
and iii) remove couple of newlines from error messages using
p_err(), from Jakub.
6) Two follow-up cleanups to sockmap code: i) remove the unused
bpf_compute_data_end_sk_skb() function and ii) only build the
sockmap infrastructure when CONFIG_INET is enabled since it's
only aware of TCP sockets at this time, from John.

While in recovery process of PCI error (called EEH on PowerPC arch),
another PCI transaction could be corrupted causing a situation of
nested PCI errors. Also, this scenario could be reproduced with
error injection mechanisms (for debug purposes).
We observe that in case of nested PCI errors, bnx2x might attempt to
initialize its shmem and cause a kernel crash due to bad addresses
read from MCP. Multiple different stack traces were observed depending
on the point the second PCI error happens.
This patch avoids the crashes by:
* failing PCI recovery in case of nested errors (since multiple
PCI errors in a row are not expected to lead to a functional
adapter anyway), and by,
* preventing access to adapter FW when MCP is failed (we mark it as
failed when shmem cannot get initialized properly).

Most callers of rhashtable_walk_start don't care about a resize event
which is indicated by a return value of -EAGAIN. So calls to
rhashtable_walk_start are wrapped wih code to ignore -EAGAIN. Something
like this is common:
ret = rhashtable_walk_start(rhiter);
if (ret && ret != -EAGAIN)
goto out;
Since zero and -EAGAIN are the only possible return values from the
function this check is pointless. The condition never evaluates to true.
This patch changes rhashtable_walk_start to return void. This simplifies
code for the callers that ignore -EAGAIN. For the few cases where the
caller cares about the resize event, particularly where the table can be
walked in mulitple parts for netlink or seq file dump, the function
rhashtable_walk_start_check has been added that returns -EAGAIN on a
resize event.

pull-request: bpf-next 2017-12-03
The following pull-request contains BPF updates for your *net-next* tree.
The main changes are:
1) Addition of a software model for BPF offloads in order to ease
testing code changes in that area and make semantics more clear.
This is implemented in a new driver called netdevsim, which can
later also be extended for other offloads. SR-IOV support is added
as well to netdevsim. BPF kernel selftests for offloading are
added so we can track basic functionality as well as exercising
all corner cases around BPF offloading, from Jakub.
2) Today drivers have to drop the reference on BPF progs they hold
due to XDP on device teardown themselves. Change this in order
to make XDP handling inside the drivers less error prone, and
move disabling XDP to the core instead, also from Jakub.
3) Misc set of BPF verifier improvements and cleanups as preparatory
work for upcoming BPF-to-BPF calls. Among others, this set also
improves liveness marking such that pruning can be slightly more
effective. Register and stack liveness information is now included
in the verifier log as well, from Alexei.
4) nfp JIT improvements in order to identify load/store sequences in
the BPF prog e.g. coming from memcpy lowering and optimizing them
through the NPU's command push pull (CPP) instruction, from Jiong.
5) Cleanups to test_cgrp2_attach2.c BPF sample code in oder to remove
bpf_prog_attach() magic values and replacing them with actual proper
attach flag instead, from David.

The current 'bnxt_shutdown' implementation only invokes
'bnxt_ulp_shutdown' to shut down RoCE in the case when the system is in

cases, it does not work in the smart NIC case, when Linux 'reboot'

'L3' level reset where the entire ARM and associated subsystems are
being reset, but at the same time, Nitro core is being kept in sane state

When "NETDEV WATCHDOG: em4 (bnx2x): transmit queue 2 timed out" occurs,
BNX2X_SP_RTNL_TX_TIMEOUT is set. In the function bnx2x_sp_rtnl_task,
bnx2x_nic_unload and bnx2x_nic_load are executed to shutdown and open
NIC. In the function bnx2x_nic_load, bnx2x_alloc_mem allocates dma
failure. The message "bnx2x: [bnx2x_alloc_mem:8399(em4)]Can't
allocate memory" pops out. The variable slowpath is set to NULL.
When shutdown the NIC, the function bnx2x_nic_unload is called. In
the function bnx2x_nic_unload, the following functions are executed.
bnx2x_chip_cleanup
bnx2x_set_storm_rx_mode
bnx2x_set_q_rx_mode
bnx2x_set_q_rx_mode
bnx2x_config_rx_mode
bnx2x_set_rx_mode_e2
In the function bnx2x_set_rx_mode_e2, the variable slowpath is operated.
Then the crash occurs.
To fix this crash, the variable slowpath is checked. And in the function
bnx2x_sp_rtnl_task, after dma memory allocation fails, another shutdown
and open NIC is executed.

Many source files in the tree are missing licensing information, which
makes it harder for compliance tools to determine the correct license.
By default all files without license information are under the default
license of the kernel, which is GPL version 2.
Update the files which contain no license information with the 'GPL-2.0'
SPDX license identifier. The SPDX identifier is a legally binding
shorthand, which can be used instead of the full boiler plate text.
This patch is based on work done by Thomas Gleixner and Kate Stewart and
Philippe Ombredanne.
How this work was done:
Patches were generated and checked against linux-4.14-rc6 for a subset of
the use cases:
- file had no licensing information it it.
- file was a */uapi/* one with no licensing information in it,
- file was a */uapi/* one with existing licensing information,
Further patches will be generated in subsequent months to fix up cases
where non-standard license headers were used, and references to license
had to be inferred by heuristics based on keywords.
The analysis to determine which SPDX License Identifier to be applied to
a file was done in a spreadsheet of side by side results from of the
output of two independent scanners (ScanCode & Windriver) producing SPDX
tag:value files created by Philippe Ombredanne. Philippe prepared the
base worksheet, and did an initial spot review of a few 1000 files.
The 4.13 kernel was the starting point of the analysis with 60,537 files
assessed. Kate Stewart did a file by file comparison of the scanner
results in the spreadsheet to determine which SPDX license identifier(s)
to be applied to the file. She confirmed any determination that was not
immediately clear with lawyers working with the Linux Foundation.
Criteria used to select files for SPDX license identifier tagging was:
- Files considered eligible had to be source code files.
- Make and config files were included as candidates if they contained >5
lines of source
- File already had some variant of a license header in it (even if <5
lines).
All documentation files were explicitly excluded.
The following heuristics were used to determine which SPDX license
identifiers to apply.
- when both scanners couldn't find any license traces, file was
considered to have no license information in it, and the top level
COPYING file license applied.
For non */uapi/* files that summary was:
SPDX license identifier # files
---------------------------------------------------|-------
GPL-2.0 11139
and resulted in the first patch in this series.
If that file was a */uapi/* path one, it was "GPL-2.0 WITH
Linux-syscall-note" otherwise it was "GPL-2.0". Results of that was:
SPDX license identifier # files
---------------------------------------------------|-------
GPL-2.0 WITH Linux-syscall-note 930
and resulted in the second patch in this series.
- if a file had some form of licensing information in it, and was one
of the */uapi/* ones, it was denoted with the Linux-syscall-note if
any GPL family license was found in the file or had no licensing in
it (per prior point). Results summary:
SPDX license identifier # files
---------------------------------------------------|------
GPL-2.0 WITH Linux-syscall-note 270
GPL-2.0+ WITH Linux-syscall-note 169
((GPL-2.0 WITH Linux-syscall-note) OR BSD-2-Clause) 21
((GPL-2.0 WITH Linux-syscall-note) OR BSD-3-Clause) 17
LGPL-2.1+ WITH Linux-syscall-note 15
GPL-1.0+ WITH Linux-syscall-note 14
((GPL-2.0+ WITH Linux-syscall-note) OR BSD-3-Clause) 5
LGPL-2.0+ WITH Linux-syscall-note 4
LGPL-2.1 WITH Linux-syscall-note 3
((GPL-2.0 WITH Linux-syscall-note) OR MIT) 3
((GPL-2.0 WITH Linux-syscall-note) AND MIT) 1
and that resulted in the third patch in this series.
- when the two scanners agreed on the detected license(s), that became
the concluded license(s).
- when there was disagreement between the two scanners (one detected a
license but the other didn't, or they both detected different
licenses) a manual inspection of the file occurred.
- In most cases a manual inspection of the information in the file
resulted in a clear resolution of the license that should apply (and
which scanner probably needed to revisit its heuristics).
- When it was not immediately clear, the license identifier was
confirmed with lawyers working with the Linux Foundation.
- If there was any question as to the appropriate license identifier,
the file was flagged for further research and to be revisited later
in time.
In total, over 70 hours of logged manual review was done on the
spreadsheet to determine the SPDX license identifiers to apply to the
source files by Kate, Philippe, Thomas and, in some cases, confirmation
by lawyers working with the Linux Foundation.
Kate also obtained a third independent scan of the 4.13 code base from
FOSSology, and compared selected files where the other two scanners
disagreed against that SPDX file, to see if there was new insights. The
Windriver scanner is based on an older version of FOSSology in part, so
they are related.
Thomas did random spot checks in about 500 files from the spreadsheets
for the uapi headers and agreed with SPDX license identifier in the
files he inspected. For the non-uapi files Thomas did random spot checks
in about 15000 files.
In initial set of patches against 4.14-rc6, 3 files were found to have
copy/paste license identifier errors, and have been fixed to reflect the
correct identifier.
Additionally Philippe spent 10 hours this week doing a detailed manual
inspection and review of the 12,461 patched files from the initial patch
version early this week with:
- a full scancode scan run, collecting the matched texts, detected
license ids and scores
- reviewing anything where there was a license detected (about 500+
files) to ensure that the applied SPDX license was correct
- reviewing anything where there was no detection but the patch license
was not GPL-2.0 WITH Linux-syscall-note to ensure that the applied
SPDX license was correct
This produced a worksheet with 20 files needing minor correction. This
worksheet was then exported into 3 different .csv files for the
different types of files to be modified.
These .csv files were then reviewed by Greg. Thomas wrote a script to
parse the csv files and add the proper SPDX tag to the file, in the
format that the file expected. This script was further refined by Greg
based on the output to detect more types of files automatically and to
distinguish between header and source .c files (which need different
comment types.) Finally Greg ran the script using the .csv files to
generate the patches.

This patch adds IPv4 vxlan encap/decap action support to TC-flower
offload.
For vxlan encap, the driver maintains a tunnel encap hash-table.
When a new flow with a tunnel encap action arrives, this table
is looked up; if an encap entry exists, it uses the already
programmed encap_record_handle as the tunnel_handle in the
hwrm_cfa_flow_alloc cmd. Else, a new encap node is added and the
L2 header fields are queried via a route lookup.
hwrm_cfa_encap_record_alloc cmd is used to create a new encap
record and the encap_record_handle is used as the tunnel_handle
while adding the flow.
For vxlan decap, the driver maintains a tunnel decap hash-table.
When a new flow with a tunnel decap action arrives, this table
is looked up; if a decap entry exists, it uses the already
programmed decap_filter_handle as the tunnel_handle in the
hwrm_cfa_flow_alloc cmd. Else, a new decap node is added and
a decap_filter_handle is alloc'd via the hwrm_cfa_decap_filter_alloc
cmd. This handle is used as the tunnel_handle while adding the flow.
The code to issue the HWRM FW cmds is introduced in a follow-up patch.

For ethtool commands that have a PHY component, an explicit check

It is necessary for the UniMAC to be clocked at least 5 cycles
while the sw_reset is asserted to ensure a clean reset.
It was discovered that this condition was not being met when
connected to an external RGMII PHY that disabled the Rx clock in
the Power Save state.
This commit modifies the reset_umac function to place the (RG)MII
interface into a local loopback mode where the Rx clock comes
from the GENET sourced Tx clk during the sw_reset to ensure the
presence and stability of the clock.
In addition, it turns out that the sw_reset of the UniMAC is not
self clearing, but this was masked by a bug in the timeout code.
The sw_reset is now explicitly cleared by zeroing the UMAC_CMD
register before returning from reset_umac which makes it no
longer necessary to do so in init_umac and makes the clearing of
CMD_TX_EN and CMD_RX_EN by umac_enable_set redundant. The
timeout code (and its associated bug) are removed so reset_umac
no longer needs to return a result, and that means init_umac
that calls reset_umac does not need to as well.

Because SYSTEMPORT is a (semi) normal network device, the stack may attempt to
queue packets on it oustide of the DSA slave transmit path. When that happens,
the DSA layer has not had a chance to tag packets with the appropriate per-port
and per-queue information, and if that happens and we don't have a port 0 queue
0 available (e.g: on boards where this does not exist), we will hit a NULL

There were quite a few overlapping sets of changes here.
Daniel's bug fix for off-by-ones in the new BPF branch instructions,
along with the added allowances for "data_end > ptr + x" forms
collided with the metadata additions.
Along with those three changes came veritifer test cases, which in
their final form I tried to group together properly. If I had just
trimmed GIT's conflict tags as-is, this would have split up the
meta tests unnecessarily.
In the socketmap code, a set of preemption disabling changes

The notifier cause a link error when NET_DSA is a loadable
module:
drivers/net/ethernet/broadcom/bcmsysport.o: In function `bcm_sysport_remove':
bcmsysport.c:(.text+0x1582): undefined reference to `unregister_dsa_notifier'
drivers/net/ethernet/broadcom/bcmsysport.o: In function `bcm_sysport_probe':
bcmsysport.c:(.text+0x278d): undefined reference to `register_dsa_notifier'
This adds a dependency that forces the systemport driver to be
a loadable module as well when that happens, but otherwise
allows it to be built normally when DSA is either built-in or
completely disabled.

In bnxt_find_nvram_item(), it is copying firmware response data after
releasing the mutex. This can cause the firmware response data
to be corrupted if the next firmware response overwrites the response
buffer. The rare problem shows up when running ethtool -i repeatedly.
Fix it by calling the new variant _hwrm_send_message_silent() that requires
the caller to take the mutex and to release it after the response data has
been copied.

As a further improvement to the PF/VF link change logic, use a private
mutex instead of the rtnl lock to protect link change logic. With the
new mutex, we don't have to take the rtnl lock in the workqueue when
we have to handle link related functions. If the VF and PF drivers
are running on the same host and both take the rtnl lock and one is
waiting for the other, it will cause timeout. This patch fixes these
timeouts.

Link status query firmware messages originating from the VFs are forwarded
to the PF. The driver handles these interactions in a workqueue for the
VF and PF. The VF driver waits for the response from the PF in the
workqueue. If the PF and VF driver are running on the same host and the
work for both PF and VF are queued on the same workqueue, the VF driver
may not get the response if the PF work item is queued behind it on the
same workqueue. This will lead to the VF link query message timing out.
To prevent this, we create a private workqueue for PFs instead of using
the common workqueue. The VF query and PF response will never be on
the same workqueue.

Now that we have established the queue mapping between the switch port
egress queues and the SYSTEMPORT egress queues, we can turn on Advanced
Congestion Buffering (ACB) at the SYSTEMPORT level. This enables the
Ethernet MAC controller to get out of band flow control information
directly from the switch port and queue that it monitors such that its
internal TDMA can be appropriately backpressured.

Establish a queue mapping between the DSA slave network device queues
created that correspond to switch port queues, and the transmit queue
that SYSTEMPORT manages.
We need to configure the SYSTEMPORT transmit queue with the switch port number
and switch port queue number in order for the switch and SYSTEMPORT hardware to
utilize the out of band congestion notification. This hardware mechanism works
by looking at the switch port egress queue and determines whether there is
enough buffers for this queue, with that class of service for a successful
transmission and if not, backpressures the SYSTEMPORT queue that is being used.
For this to work, we implement a notifier which looks at the
DSA_PORT_REGISTER event. When DSA network devices are registered, the
framework calls the DSA notifiers when that happens, extracts the number
of queues for these devices and their associated port number, remembers
that in the driver private structure and linearly maps those queues to
TX rings/queues that we manage.
This scheme works because DSA slave network deviecs always transmit
through SYSTEMPORT so when DSA slave network devices are
destroyed/brought down, the corresponding SYSTEMPORT queues are no
longer used. Also, by design of the DSA framework, the master network
device (SYSTEMPORT) is registered first.
For faster lookups we use an array of up to DSA_MAX_PORTS * number of
queues per port, and then map pointers to bcm_sysport_tx_ring such that
our ndo_select_queue() implementation can just index into that array to
locate the corresponding ring index.
