4b42745211 ARM: SoC platform updates for 4.20
A couple of platforms change hands in the MAINTAINERS file:

 - Linus Walleij lists himself for the ARM Reference platforms:
versatile, vexpress, integrator and realview. He has been the main
contributor for these for a while, and makes it official now.

 - Vladimir Zapolskiy takes over the LPC18xx platform from Joachim Eastwood

 - Manivannan Sadhasivam becomes a secondary maintainer for the
   Actions Semi machines

 - Nicolas Ferre lists updates the MAINTAINER listing for the AT91
platform: Ludovic Desroches is now a co-maintainer for the platform, and
several other people (Claudiu Beznea, Cristian Birsan, Eugen Hristev,
Codrin Ciubotariu) take over individual device drivers.

Thanks everyone for working on this, and welcome to the new maintainers!

The "virt" platform on qemy or kvm can now be used in big-endian mode
without additional tricks, thanks to Jason Donenfeld.

Once again, we gain support for another NXP i.MX6 variant, this time
 it's the i.MX 6ULZ 32-bit single-core version.

On arm64, we add support for two SoCs from Renesas: RZ/G2E (r8a774c0)
and RZ/G2M (r8a774a1). These are described as microcontrollers on the
manufacturer website, but appear to be rather powerful. The RZ/G2M is
used on the reference board for the CIP Super Long Term Support (SLTS)
 Linux Kernels.

7c00e8ae04 ARM: SoC platform updates
Here are the main updates for SoC support (besides DT additions) for ARM
32- and 64-bit platforms. The branch also contains defconfig updates to
turn on drivers and options as needed on the various platforms.

The largest parts of the delta are from cleanups moving platform data
and board file setup of TI platforms to ti-sysc bus drivers. There are
also some sweeping changes of eeprom and nand setup on Davinci, i.MX
 and other platforms.

Samsung is removing support for Exynos5440, which was an oddball SoC
that hasn't been seen much use in designs.

Renesas is adding support for new SoCs (R-Car E3, RZ/G1C and RZ/N1D).

Linus Walleij is also removing support for ux500 (Sony Ericsson)
U8540/9540 SoCs that never made it to significant mass production and
 products.

4965a68780 arch: define the ARCH_DMA_ADDR_T_64BIT config symbol in lib/Kconfig
Define this symbol if the architecture either uses 64-bit pointers or the
PHYS_ADDR_T_64BIT is set. This covers 95% of the old arch magic. We only
need an additional select for Xen on ARM (why anyway?), and we now always
set ARCH_DMA_ADDR_T_64BIT on mips boards with 64-bit physical addressing
instead of only doing it when highmem is set.

991688bfc6 ARM: SoC driver updates for v4.10
Driver updates for ARM SoCs, including a couple of newly added drivers:

 - A new driver for the power management controller on TI Keystone
 - Support for the prerelease "SCPI" firmware protocol that ended up
being shipped by Amlogic in their GXBB SoC.
 - A soc_device can now be matched using a glob from inside the
kernel, when another driver wants to know the specific chip
it is running on and cannot find out from DT, firmware or hardware.
 - Renesas SoCs now support identification through the soc_device
interface, both in user space and kernel.
 - Renesas r8a7743 and r8a7745 gain support for their system controller
 - A new checking module for the ARM "PSCI" (not to be confused
with "SCPI" mentioned above) firmware interface.
 - A new driver for the Tegra GMI memory interface
 - Support for the Tegra firmware interfaces with their
   power management controllers

As usual, the updates for the reset controller framework are merged
here, as they tend to touch multiple SoCs as well, including a new
driver for the Oxford (now Broadcom) OX820 chip and the Tegra
 bpmp interface.

The existing drivers for Atmel, Qualcomm, NVIDIA, TI Davinci, and
Rockchips SoCs see some further updates.

 Conflicts:
 - ARCH_RENESAS now selects SOC_BUS, but no longer needs GPIOLIB
 - drivers/soc/renesas/Makefile: multiple files got added, keep
   all in logical sorting

e13688fe61 ARM: select PCI_DOMAINS config from ARCH_MULTIPLATFORM
PCI_DOMAINS config should be selected for any SoCs
having more than a single PCIe controller. Without PCI_DOMAINS
config, only one PCIe controller gets registered.

Select PCI_DOMAINS in ARCH_MULTIPLATFORM if PCI is selected, since
it doesn't harm even if a platform has a single PCIe port.
Also remove PCI_DOMAINS being selected from other platform

5c34a4e89c ARM: do away with ARCH_[WANT_OPTIONAL|REQUIRE]_GPIOLIB
This replaces:

- "select ARCH_REQUIRE_GPIOLIB" with "select GPIOLIB" as this can
  now be selected directly.

- "select ARCH_WANT_OPTIONAL_GPIOLIB" with no dependency: GPIOLIB
is now selectable by everyone, so we need not declare our
  intent to select it.

When ordering the symbols the following rationale was used:
if the selects were in alphabetical order, I moved select GPIOLIB
to be in alphabetical order, but if the selects were not
maintained in alphabetical order, I just replaced
"select ARCH_REQUIRE_GPIOLIB" with "select GPIOLIB".

71d076ceb2 ARM: shmobile: Enable PM and PM_GENERIC_DOMAINS for SoCs with PM Domains
All supported Renesas ARM SoCs (except for Emma Mobile EV2) have clock
domains. Some SoCs also have power domains. To ensure proper operation
of on-SoC modules, module clocks must be ungated, and power domains must
be powered up when needed.

Currently the user can choose to build a kernel with power management
enabled or disabled:
  - If CONFIG_PM=y, power domains and/or module clocks are handled
dynamically by Runtime PM and the generic power domain.
  - If CONFIG_PM=n, power domains are assumed to be powered up by reset
state or by the boot loader, and module clocks are handled by the
legacy clock domain on driver (un)bind.
The latter is implemented using a platform bus notifier, which
applies not only to all on-SoC devices, but to all platform devices
    present in the system.

To remove the dependency on implicit assumptions, and to get rid of the
peculiarities of the legacy clock domain, enable CONFIG_PM and
CONFIG_PM_GENERIC_DOMAINS unconditionally, for all Renesas ARM SoCs with
clock and/or power domains.

This does cause an increase in kernel size. Given bloat-o-meter reports
a modest increase of 26 KiB for an RZ/A1H kernel, this should not be a
problem, even when used on RZ/A1H with XIP and internal RAM only.

Masahiro Yamada
e324654294 ARM: use "depends on" for SoC configs instead of "if" after prompt
Many ARM sub-architectures use prompts followed by "if" conditional,
but it is wrong.

Please notice the difference between

    config ARCH_FOO
            bool "Foo SoCs" if ARCH_MULTI_V7

and

    config ARCH_FOO
            bool "Foo SoCs"
            depends on ARCH_MULTI_V7

These two are *not* equivalent!

In the former statement, it is not ARCH_FOO, but its prompt that
depends on ARCH_MULTI_V7. So, it is completely valid that ARCH_FOO
is selected by another, but ARCH_MULTI_V7 is still disabled. As it is
not unmet dependency, Kconfig never warns. This is probably not what
you want.

The former should be used only when you need to do so, and you really
understand what you are doing. (In most cases, it should be wrong!)

For enabling/disabling sub-architectures, the latter is always correct.

As a good side effect, this commit fixes some entries over 80 columns
(mach-imx, mach-integrator, mach-mbevu).

[Arnd: I note that there is not really a bug here, according to
the discussion that followed, but I can see value in being consistent
and in making the lines shorter]

The purpose of this patch is to start the process of replacing both
ARCH_SHMOBILE and ARCH_SHMOBILE_MULTI with ARCH_RENESAS.

RENESAS seems to be a more appropriate name than SHMOBILE for the majority

This patches only addresses 32-bit ARM based SoCs. Proposed support for
