49e6979e7e Input: psmouse - fix build error of multiple definition
trackpoint_detect() should be static inline while
CONFIG_MOUSE_PS2_TRACKPOINT is not set, otherwise, we build fails:

drivers/input/mouse/alps.o: In function `trackpoint_detect':
alps.c:(.text+0x8e00): multiple definition of `trackpoint_detect'
drivers/input/mouse/psmouse-base.o:psmouse-base.c:(.text+0x1b50): first defined here

2a924d7179 Input: trackpoint - only expose supported controls for Elan, ALPS and NXP
The newer trackpoints from ALPS, Elan and NXP implement a very limited
subset of extended commands and controls that the original trackpoints
implemented, so we should not be exposing not working controls in sysfs.
The newer trackpoints also do not implement "Power On Reset" or "Read
Extended Button Status", so we should not be using these commands during
initialization.

While we are at it, let's change "unsigned char" to u8 for byte data or
bool for booleans and use better suited error codes instead of -1.

ec667683c5 Input: trackpoint - add new trackpoint firmware ID
Synaptics add new TP firmware ID: 0x2 and 0x3, for now both lower 2 bits
are indicated as TP. Change the constant to bitwise values.

This makes trackpoint to be recognized on Lenovo Carbon X1 Gen5 instead
of it being identified as "PS/2 Generic Mouse".

2ba3532047 Input: psmouse - expose drift duration for IBM trackpoints
IBM Trackpoints have a feature to compensate for drift by recalibrating
themselves periodically. By default, if for 0.5 seconds there is no change
in position, it's used as the new zero. This duration is too low. Often,
the calibration happens when the trackpoint is in fact being used.

IBM's Trackpoint Engineering Specifications show a configuration register
that allows changing this duration, rstdft1.

Expose it via sysfs among the other settings.

0c6a61657d Input: trackpoint - Optimize trackpoint init to use power-on reset
The trackpoint driver sets various parameter default values, all of
which happen to be power-on defaults (Source: IBM TrackPoint Engineering
Specification, Version 4.0. Also confirmed by empirical data).

By sending the power-on reset command to reset all parameters to
power-on state, we can skip the lengthy process of programming all
parameters. In testing, ~2.5 secs of time writing parameters was reduced
to .35 seconds waiting for power-on reset to complete.

Allow ALPS, LOGIPS2PP, LIFEBOOK, TRACKPOINT and TOUCHKIT protocol
extensions of psmouse to be disabled during compilation. This will
