feda5f939e virtio: pass baton to Michael Tsirkin
With my job change kernel work will be "own time"; I'm keeping lguest
and modules (and the virtio standards work), but virtio kernel has to
go.

This makes it clear that Michael is in charge. He's good, but having
me watch over his shoulder won't help.

Good luck Michael!

a134f083e7 ipv4: Missing sk_nulls_node_init() in ping_unhash().
If we don't do that, then the poison value is left in the ->pprev

This can cause crashes if we do a disconnect, followed by a connect().

082a75dad8 rbd: end I/O the entire obj_request on error
When we end I/O struct request with error, we need to pass
obj_request->length as @nr_bytes so that the entire obj_request worth
of bytes is completed. Otherwise block layer ends up confused and we
trip on

    rbd_assert(more ^ (which == img_request->obj_request_count));

in rbd_img_obj_callback() due to more being true no matter what. We
already do it in most cases but we are missing some, in particular
those where we don't even get a chance to submit any obj_requests, due
to an early -ENOMEM for example.

A number of obj_request->xferred assignments seem to be redundant but
I haven't touched any of obj_request->xferred stuff to keep this small
and isolated.

db7d4d7f40 vfio: Fix runaway interruptible timeout
Commit 13060b64b8 ("vfio: Add and use device request op for vfio
bus drivers") incorrectly makes use of an interruptible timeout.
When interrupted, the signal remains pending resulting in subsequent
timeouts occurring instantly. This makes the loop spin at a much
higher rate than intended.

Instead of making this completely non-interruptible, we can change
this into a sort of interruptible-once behavior and use the "once"
to log debug information. The driver API doesn't allow us to abort
and return an error code.

a44cd7a054 ext4 crypto: add padding to filenames before encrypting
This obscures the length of the filenames, to decrease the amount of
information leakage. By default, we pad the filenames to the next 4
byte boundaries. This costs nothing, since the directory entries are
aligned to 4 byte boundaries anyway. Filenames can also be padded to
8, 16, or 32 bytes, which will consume more directory space.

e944ec2ca0 perf report: Fix -T/--threads option to work again
The commit 512ae1bd6a ("perf tools: Consolidate management of default
sort orders") changed default value of the 'sort_order' variable to NULL
indicating that users don't set any sort keys on the command line.

However it missed to update a check in perf_evlist__tty_browse_hists()
so that 'perf report -T' cannot show the per-thread values after the
normal output. This patch fixes it to work again.

Note that the -T option only works on --stdio and neither --sort nor
--parent option was given.

is almost certainly SRGB. The sensor is also not generating JPEG data,
so it makes no sense to use V4L2_COLORSPACE_JPEG here.

that was just dead code. Remove it.

6eb40d594b [media] marvell-ccic: add planar support to dma-vmalloc
The dma-vmalloc implementation didn't support planar formats, but with
a little bit of refactoring that is easy to fix.

ca657b28fd [media] marvell-ccic: correctly requeue buffers
If start_streaming fails or stop_streaming is called, then all queued
buffers need to be given back to vb2.

This prevents vb2 from calling WARN_ON when it detects that this is not
done correctly.

Add VB2_DMABUF and VIDIOC_EXPBUF support. Also add VB2_USERPTR support
for the vmalloc DMA mode which was missing for no good reason.

949bd4081f [media] marvell-ccic: use vb2 helpers and core locking
Use the V4L2 core locking system instead of rolling your own. Switch to
the vb2 fop and ioctl helpers to get rid of a lot of code. This also made
it easy to add VB2_READ to the DMA modes, since you get read() for free
with vb2 and these helpers.

Finally remove the users field: this information is also available from
the core framework, no need to keep track of it in the driver.

about.
