Function hdmi_mode_fixup() used bare list_for_each entry, which was
unsafe and caused memory corruption detected by kasan.
It now uses drm_for_each_connector_iter macro, which is now recommended
by the documentation and safe.

There's a really nasty nouveau collision, hopefully someone can take a look

It's dead code, the core handles all this directly now.
The only special case is nouveau and tda988x which used one function
for both legacy modeset code and -nv50 atomic world instead of 2
vtables. But amounts to exactly the same.

The "Fixes" patch was incorrectly merged, as a result PHY is prematurely

HDMI 1.4b support the CEA video modes as per range of CEA-861-D (VIC 1-64).
For any other mode, the VIC filed in AVI infoframes should be 0.
HDMI 2.0 sinks, support video modes range as per CEA-861-F spec, which is
extended to (VIC 1-107).
This patch adds a bool input variable, which indicates if the connected
sink is a HDMI 2.0 sink or not. This will make sure that we don't pass a
HDMI 2.0 VIC to a HDMI 1.4 sink.
This patch touches all drm drivers, who are callers of this function
drm_hdmi_avi_infoframe_from_display_mode but to make sure there is
no change in current behavior, is_hdmi2 is kept as false.
In case of I915 driver, this patch:
- checks if the connected display is HDMI 2.0.
- HDMI infoframes carry one of this two type of information:
- VIC for 4K modes for HDMI 1.4 sinks
- S3D information for S3D modes
As CEA-861-F has already defined VICs for 4K videomodes, this
patch doesn't allow sending HDMI infoframes for HDMI 2.0 sinks,
until the mode is 3D.

Hardware require that MIXER(crtc) should be disabled prior to
HDMI(encoder). It was achieved by disabling crtc from encoder disable
callback, bypassing drm core. As a result drm core tried to call vblank
related routines on disabled crtc. The patch fixes it by simplifying
hdmi_disable routine - now it only cancels hotplug worker. Hardware will
be disabled in proper moment during pipe clock disable.

The drm driver .load() operation is prone to race conditions as it
initializes the driver after registering the device nodes. Its usage is
deprecated, inline it in the probe function and call drm_dev_alloc() and
drm_dev_register() explicitly.
For consistency inline the .unload() handler in the remove function as
well.

The vblank hooks in struct drm_driver are deprecated and only meant for
legacy drivers. For modern drivers with DRIVER_MODESET flag, the hooks
in struct drm_crtc_funcs should be used instead.
As the result, exynos_drm_crtc_enable[disable]_vblank() become static
functions. They are moved around a bit to save forward declaration
though. Also while at it, we move one step further to kill
exynos_drm_crtc_from_pipe() completely by updating hdmi_bind() a bit.

On TM2/TM2e platforms HDMI output is connected to MHL bridge
SiI8620. To allow configure UltraHD modes on the bridge
and to eliminate unsupported modes this bridge should be
attached to drm_encoder implemented in exynos_hdmi.

We have 1:1 relationship between connectors and encoders and the driver
is relying on the atomic helpers: we can drop the custom ->best_encoder()
implementations and let the core call drm_atomic_helper_best_encoder()
for us.

The regulators may not be available just because their driver's probe
function was just not executed and so the regulators not registered.
So, in this case the Exynos HDMI driver should not print logs since
a -EPROBE_DEFER is not really an error and that will just pollute
the kernel log and confuse users.
This patch prevents the following misleading messages to be printed:

HDMI-PHY power off bit defaults to 0 in older HDMI versions.
In case of Exynos5433 it defaults to 1. To make code
consistent across all versions this bit is always unset/set in
power on/off sequences.

Proper PHY configuration should be as follow:
1. set HDMI clock parents to OSCCLK.
2. reconfigure PHY.
3. set HDMI clock parents to PHY.
4. wait for PLL stabilization.

HDMI-PHY configurations are stored as array pointer and count pair,
we can re-use existing helpers to simplify their initialization.

- Support runtime pm
. In case of most ARM SoC, each IP has each power domain which should be
controlled by each IP driver using runtime pm interface. So this patch
series makes each IP driver to control its own power domain when
drm dpms is requested.
- Support of_graph based dt binding for DP panel.
. This patch series adds of_graph based dt binding for DP panel.
And also it keeps backward compatibility. This includes dt binding
patch so I got Acked-by from Krzysztof Kozlowski who is a Exynos
SoC maintainer and from Rob Herring who is a device tree maintainer.
- Cleanup for Exynos DRM IPP enhancement.
. This patch series is a first step for enhancing existing IPP framework
which will integrate existing IPP functions with DRM KMS part so that

Let pm_runtime handle the enabling/disabling of the device with proper
refcnt instead of rely on specific flags to track the enabled state.

HDMI driver called directly function from MIXER driver to invalidate modes
not supported by MIXER. The patch replaces the hack with proper .atomic_check
callback.

Simple formula can be used to calculate CTS and N coefficients.
Additionaly ACR registers have different offsets for different versions
of IP.

hdmi_resources structure was filled by old platform data code and is not
necessary anymore. The patch removes it at groups together resource related
fields in hdmi_context.
