Merge tag 'mmc-v4.21' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/ulfh/mmc

Pull MMC updates from Ulf Hansson:
"This time, this pull request contains changes crossing subsystems and
archs/platforms, which is mainly because of a bigger modernization of
moving from legacy GPIO to GPIO descriptors for MMC (by Linus
  Walleij).

Additionally, once again, I am funneling changes to
drivers/misc/cardreader/* and drivers/memstick/* through my MMC tree,
mostly due to that we lack a maintainer for these.

9e56f0df36 PCI: imx: Add imx6sx suspend/resume support
Enable PCI suspend/resume support on imx6sx SOCs. This is similar to
imx7d with a few differences:

* The PM_Turn_Off bit is exposed through an IOMUX GPR, like all other
pcie control bits on 6sx.
* The pcie_inbound_axi clk needs to be turned off in suspend. On resume
it is restored via resume -> deassert_core_reset -> enable_ref_clk.

Most of the resume logic is shared with the initial reset after probe.

faed930306 mmc: host: tmio: Use GPIO descriptors
The TMIO MMC driver was passing global GPIO numbers around for
card detect. It turns out only one single board in the kernel
was actually making use of this feature so it is pretty easy
to convert the driver to use only GPIO descriptors.

The lines are flagged as GPIO_ACTIVE_[LOW|HIGH] as that is
what they are, and since we can now rely on the descriptors
to have the right polarity, we set the
"override_active_level" to false in mmc_gpiod_request_cd()
and mmc_gpiod_request_ro().

regulator: wm8994: Pass descriptor instead of GPIO number
Instead of passing a global GPIO number for the enable GPIO, pass
a descriptor looked up from the device tree node or the board file
decriptor table for the regulator.

There is a single board file passing the GPIOs for LDO1 and LDO2
through platform data, so augment this to pass descriptors
associated with the i2c device as well.

The special GPIO enable DT property for the enable GPIO is
nonstandard but this was accomodated in
commit 6a537d4846
"gpio: of: Support regulator nonstandard GPIO properties".

platform/chrome: straighten out cros_ec_get_{next,host}_event() error codes
cros_ec_get_next_event() is documented to return 0 for success and
negative for errors. It currently returns negative for some errors, and
non-negative (number of bytes received) for success (including some "no
data available" responses as zero). This mostly works out OK, because the
callers were more or less ignoring the documentation, and only treating
positive values as success (and indepdently checking the modification of
'wakeup').

Let's button this up by avoiding pretending to handle event/wakeup
distinctions when no event info was retrieved (i.e., returned 0 bytes).
And fix the documentation of cros_ec_get_host_event() and
cros_ec_get_next_event() to accurately describe their behavior.

efddff27c8 mfd: max8997: Enale irq-wakeup unconditionally
IRQ wake up support for MAX8997 driver was initially configured by
respective property in pdata. However, after the driver conversion to
device-tree, setting it was left as 'todo'. Nowadays most of other PMIC MFD
drivers initialized from device-tree assume that they can be an irq wakeup
source, so enable it also for MAX8997. This fixes support for wakeup from
MAX8997 RTC alarm.

Power button IRQ actually has a second level of interrupts to

To address above issues, split power button IRQ to be chained as well.

55143439b7 mfd: mc13xxx-core: Fix PMIC shutdown when reading ADC values
When trying to read any MC13892 ADC channel on a imx51-babbage board:

The MC13892 PMIC shutdowns completely.

After debugging this issue and comparing the MC13892 and MC13783
initializations done in the vendor kernel, it was noticed that the
CHRGRAWDIV bit of the ADC0 register was not being set.

This bit is set by default after power on, but the driver was
clearing it.

After setting this bit it is possible to read the ADC values correctly.

722fb61e2e mmc: tmio: remove TMIO_MMC_HAVE_HIGH_REG flag
TMIO_MMC_HAVE_HIGH_REG is confusing due to its counter-intuitive name.

All the TMIO MMC variants (TMIO MMC, Renesas SDHI, UniPhier SD) actually
have high registers. It is just that each of them implements its own
registers there. The original IP from Panasonic only defines registers
0x00-0xff in the bus_shift=1 review. The register area above them is
platform-dependent.

In fact, TMIO_MMC_HAVE_HIGH_REG is set only by tmio-mmc.c and used to
test the accessibility of CTL_SDIO_REGS. Because it is specific to
the TMIO MFD variant, the right thing to do is to move such registers
to tmio_mmc.c and delete the TMIO_MMC_HAVE_HIGH_REG flag.

regulator: bd718XX use pickable ranges
Few regulators in BD71837 and BD71847 can output voltages from
different voltage ranges. Register interface is arranged so that
used range is selected by toggling bits which are not next to actual
voltage selection bits. Then the voltage inside selected range is
determined by voltage selection bits (as usual). Support BD71837

Put the pointer to struct regmap_irq_chip_data into the parent

regulator: da9063: fix DT probing with constraints
Commit 1c892e38ce ("regulator: da9063: Handle less LDOs on DA9063L")
reordered the da9063_regulator_info[] array, but not the DA9063_ID_*
regulator ids and not the da9063_matches[] array, because ids are used
as indices in the array initializer. This mismatch between regulator id
and da9063_regulator_info[] array index causes the driver probe to fail
because constraints from DT are not applied to the correct regulator:

  da9063 0-0058: Device detected (chip-ID: 0x61, var-ID: 0x50)
  DA9063_BMEM: Bringing 900000uV into 3300000-3300000uV
  DA9063_LDO9: Bringing 3300000uV into 2500000-2500000uV
  DA9063_LDO1: Bringing 900000uV into 3300000-3300000uV
  DA9063_LDO1: failed to apply 3300000-3300000uV constraint(-22)

This patch reorders the DA9063_ID_* as apparently intended, and with
them the entries in the da90630_matches[] array.

regulator: bd71837: Disable voltage monitoring for LDO3/4
There is a HW quirk in BD71837. The shutdown sequence timings for
bucks/LDOs which are enabled via register interface are changed.
At PMIC poweroff the voltage for BUCK6/7 is cut immediately at the
beginning of shut-down sequence. This causes LDO5/6 voltage
monitoring to detect under voltage and force PMIC to emergency
state instead of poweroff. Disable voltage monitoring for LDO5 and

57e94c8b97 mfd: cros-ec: Increase maximum mkbp event size
Having a 16 byte mkbp event size makes it possible to send CEC
messages from the EC to the AP directly inside the mkbp event
instead of first doing a notification and then a read.

492510dd7d mfd: da9063: Replace model with type
The model number stored in the struct da9063 is the same for all
variants of the da9063 since it is the chip ID, which is always
the same. Replace that with a separate identifier instead, which
allows us to discern the DA9063 variants by setting the type
based on either DT match or otherwise.
