Introduce watchdog driver for a various range of Mellanox Ethernet and
Infiniband switch systems.
Watchdog driver for Mellanox watchdog devices, implemented in
programmable logic device.
Main and auxiliary watchdog devices can exist on the same system.
There are several actions that can be defined in the watchdog:
system reset, start fans on full speed and increase a counter.
The last 2 actions are performed without a system reset.
Actions without reset are provided for auxiliary watchdog devices,
which is optional.
Access to HW registers is performed through generic
regmap interface.
There are 2 types of HW watchdog implementations.
Type 1: actual HW timeout can be defined as power of 2 msec.
e.g. timeout 20 sec will be rounded up to 32768 msec.;
maximum timeout period is 32 sec (32768 msec.);
get time-left isn't supported
Type 2: actual HW timeout is defined in sec. and it's the same as
user-defined timeout;
maximum timeout is 255 sec;
get time-left is supported;
Watchdog driver is probed from the common mlx_platform driver.

The STPMIC1 PMIC embeds a watchdog which is disabled by default. As soon
as the watchdog is started, it must be refreshed periodically otherwise
the PMIC goes off.

The PM816 module is a versatile PMIC with many diverse functions
integrated, including, a watchdog.
This watchdog is subcomponent of the PON (Power On) peripheral,
in the same way as pwrkey/resin buttons.
It works with two timers (2-stages), the first one generates an
IRQ to the main SoC (APQ8016/MSM8916), the second one performs
the reset.
This driver expects the following device hierarchy:
[pm8916]->[pm8916-pon]->[pm8916-wdt]
It uses the pm8916 regmap to access PM8916 registers.

This adds support for the CPU watchdog found on Marvell Armada 37xx
SoCs.
There are 4 counters which can be set as CPU watchdog counters.
This driver uses the second counter (ID 1, counting from 0) as watchdog
counter, and first counter (ID 0) to implement pinging on the second
counter without the need to disable it.
Since counters IDs 2 and 3 are enabled already before even U-Boot
starts, this driver does not use them at all, for example by adding a
device tree property for counter selection.

Instead of doing the ioctl handling manually just use register a
watchdog_device and let the watchdog framework do the ioctl handling.
This also removes the ltq_wdt_bootstatus_set typedef and replaces it
with a structure providing the chip specific functions pointer.
The watchdog_init_timeout() function is now used and the initial timeout
can be provided in device tree.
If the watchdog was already activated it will not be stopped any more,
but the settings from the driver will be used and the watchdog subsystem
will take care.

The Nuvoton NPCM750 has a watchdog implemented as a single register
inside the timer peripheral.
This driver exposes that watchdog as a standard watchdog device with
coarse timeout intervals, limited by the combination of prescaler and
counter that is provided by the hardware. The calculation is taken from
the Nuvoton vendor tree.
The watchdog is left running if a bootloader had it going. The rate is
the one specified in the device tree, or the default value (obtained
from the datasheet).
There is a pre-timeout IRQ that is wired up. This timeout always occurs
1024 clocks before the timeout.

The ISA_BUS_API Kconfig option enables the compilation of the ISA bus
driver. The ISA bus driver does not perform any hardware interaction,
and is instead just a thin layer of software abstraction to eliminate
boilerplate code common to ISA-style device drivers. Since ISA_BUS_API
has no dependencies and does not jeopardize the integrity of the system
when enabled, drivers should select it when the ISA bus driver
functionality is needed.

watchdog to FTWDT010 as it has been revealed that this IP block

enabled building the Indy watchdog driver when COMPILE_TEST is enabled.
However, the driver makes reference to symbols that are only defined for
certain platforms are selected in the config. These platforms select
SGI_HAS_INDYDOG. Without this, link time errors result, for example
when building a MIPS allyesconfig.

Resetting the watchdog timer on CIR interrupts or on game port interrupts
is not not supported on recent chips, and doesn't really tell if the system
is stable. On top of that, at least the bit to enable resetting the
watchdog through the game port is used differently on recent chips.
Drop resetting the watchdog on CIR or game port interrupts to simplify
the code.

drivers/watchdog/wdrtas.c uses symbols defined in arch/powerpc/kernel/rtas.c,
which are exported iff CONFIG_PPC_RTAS is selected. Building wdrtas.c without
setting CONFIG_PPC_RTAS throws the following errors:

On some systems its desirable to have watchdog reboot the system
when it does not come up fast enough. This adds a kernel parameter
to disable the auto-update of watchdog before userspace takes over
and a kernel option to set the default. The info messages were
added to shorten error searching on misconfigured systems.

This adds support for watchdog part of Fintek F71868 Super I/O chip to
f71808e_wdt driver.
The F71868 chip is, in general, very similar to a F71869, however it has
slightly different set of available reset pulse widths.
Tested on MSI A55M-P33 motherboard.

Adds a watchdog timer driver for the Renesas RZ/A Series SoCs. A reset
handler is also included since a WDT overflow is the only method for
restarting an RZ/A SoC.
