Ocelot has the concept of a CPU port. The CPU port is represented in the
forwarding and the queueing system, but it is not a physical device. The
CPU port can either be accessed via register-based injection/extraction
(which is the case of Ocelot), via Frame-DMA (similar to the first one),
or "connected" to a physical Ethernet port (called NPI in the datasheet)
which is the case of the Felix DSA switch.
In Ocelot the CPU port is at index 11.
In Felix the CPU port is at index 6.
The CPU bit is treated special in the forwarding, as it is never cleared
from the forwarding port mask (once added to it). Other than that, it is
treated the same as a normal front port.
Both Felix and Ocelot should use the CPU port in the same way. This
means that Felix should not use the NPI port directly when forwarding to
the CPU, but instead use the CPU port.
This patch is fixing this such that Felix will use port 6 as its CPU
port, and just use the NPI port to carry the traffic.
Therefore, eliminate the "ocelot->cpu" variable which was holding the
index of the NPI port for Felix, and the index of the CPU port module
for Ocelot, so the variable was actually configuring different things
for different drivers and causing at least part of the confusion.
Also remove the "ocelot->num_cpu_ports" variable, which is the result of
another confusion. The 2 CPU ports mentioned in the datasheet are
because there are two frame extraction channels (register based or DMA
based). This is of no relevance to the driver at the moment, and
invisible to the analyzer module.

The IGR_PORT_MASK key width is different between the 11-port VSC7514 and
the 6-port VSC9959 switches. And since IGR_PORT_MASK is one of the first
fields of a VCAP key entry, it means that all further field
offset/length pairs are shifted between the 2.
The ocelot driver performs packing of VCAP half keys with the help of
some preprocessor macros:
- A set of macros for defining the HKO (Half Key Offset) and HKL (Half
Key Length) of each possible key field. The offset of each field is
defined as the sum between the offset and the sum of the previous
field.
- A set of accessors on top of vcap_key_set for shorter (aka less
typing) access to the HKO and HKL of each key field.
Since the field offsets and lengths are different between switches,
defining them through the preprocessor isn't going to fly. So introduce
a structure holding (offset, length) pairs and instantiate it in
ocelot_board.c for VSC7514. In a future patch, a similar structure will
be instantiated in felix_vsc9959.c for NXP LS1028A.
The accessors also need to go. They are based on macro name
concatenation, which is horrible to understand and follow.

Each extracted frame on Ocelot has an IFH. The frame and IFH are extracted
by reading chuncks of 4 bytes from a register.
In case the IFH and frames were read corretly it would try to read the next
frame. In case there are no more frames in the queue, it checks if there
were any previous errors and in that case clear the queue. But this check
will always succeed also when there are no errors. Because when extracting
the IFH the error is checked against 4(number of bytes read) and then the
error is set only if the extraction of the frame failed. So in a happy case
where there are no errors the err variable is still 4. So it could be
a case where after the check that there are no more frames in the queue, a
frame will arrive in the queue but because the error is not reseted, it
would try to flush the queue. So the frame will be lost.
The fix consist in resetting the error after reading the IFH.

The Ocelot switchdev driver and the Felix DSA one need it for different
reasons. Felix (or at least the VSC9959 instantiation in NXP LS1028A) is
integrated with the traditional NXP Layerscape PCS design which does not
support runtime configuration of SerDes protocol. So it needs to
pre-validate the phy-mode from the device tree and prevent PHYLINK from
attempting to change it. For this, it needs to cache it in a private

Now it returns an error code and in case the node doesn't contain the
property 'phy-mode' or 'phy-connection-type' it returns -EINVAL and would
set the phy_interface_t to PHY_INTERFACE_MODE_NA.
Ocelot VSC7514 has 4 internal phys which have the phy interface
PHY_INTERFACE_MODE_NA. So because of_get_phy_mode would assign
PHY_INTERFACE_MODE_NA to phy_mode when there is an error, there is no need
to add the error check.

The ocelot and ocelot_port structures will be used by a new DSA driver,
so the ocelot_board.c file will have to allocate and work with a private
structure (ocelot_port_private), which embeds the generic struct
ocelot_port. This is because in DSA, at least one interface does not
have a net_device, and the DSA driver API does not interact with that
anyway.
The ocelot_port structure is equivalent to dsa_port, and ocelot to
dsa_switch. The members of ocelot_port which have an equivalent in
dsa_port (such as dp->vlan_filtering) have been moved to
ocelot_port_private.
We want to enforce the coding convention that "ocelot_port" refers to
the structure, and "port" refers to the integer index. One can retrieve
the structure at any time from ocelot->ports[port].
The patch is large but only contains variable renaming and mechanical

Following patches will change the way of distributing port object
changes from a switchdev operation to a switchdev notifier. The
switchdev code currently recursively descends through layers of lower
devices, eventually calling the op on a front-panel port device. The
notifier will instead be sent referencing the bridge port device, which
may be a stacking device that's one of front-panel ports uppers, or a
completely unrelated device.
Dispatch the new events to ocelot_port_obj_add() resp. _del() to
maintain the same behavior that the switchdev operation based code
currently has. Pass through switchdev_handle_port_obj_add() / _del() to
handle the recursive descend, because Ocelot supports LAG uppers.
Register to the new switchdev blocking notifier chain to get the new
events when they start getting distributed.

how the switch is integrated in the SoC. Currently, it handles offloading
bridging to the hardware. ocelot_io.c handles register accesses. This is
unfortunately needed because the register layout is packed and then depends
on the number of ports available on the switch. The register definition
files are automatically generated.
ocelot_board handles the switch integration on the SoC and on the board.

register accesses which is quite slow. DMA is possible but the port is not
