define ioremap_wc() locally. These headers do not include
<asm-generic/iomap.h>. Some of them include <asm-generic/io.h>,

all ioremap_xxx locally.
In all architectures without Write-Through support, ioremap_wt()

On s390x we have to provide 160 bytes stack space before we can call
the next function. From the 160 bytes that we got from the previous
function we only use 11 * 8 bytes and have 160 - 11 * 8 bytes left.
Currently for BPF we allocate additional 160 - 11 * 8 bytes for the
next function. This is wrong because then the next function only gets:
(160 - 11 * 8) + (160 - 11 * 8) = 2 * 72 = 144 bytes
Fix this and allocate enough memory for the next function.

Thinking about it, I can't find a real use case where we want
to block a VCPU and not kick it out of SIE. (except if we want
to do the same in batch for multiple VCPUs - but that's a micro
optimization)
So let's simply perform the exit_sie() calls directly when setting
the other magic block bits in the SIE.
Otherwise e.g. kvm_s390_set_tod_low() still has other VCPUs running
after that call, working with a wrong epoch.

This lets the function access the new memory slot without going through
kvm_memslots and id_to_memslot. It will simplify the code when more
than one address space will be supported.
Unfortunately, the "const"ness of the new argument must be casted
away in two places. Fixing KVM to accept const struct kvm_memory_slot
pointers would require modifications in pretty much all architectures,
and is left for later.

In the future git could get Coccinelle merge support to deal with

the patch is of high confidence. Consider this a feature request.

Introduce faulthandler_disabled() and use it to check for irq context and
disabled pagefaults (via pagefault_disable()) in the pagefault handlers.
Please note that we keep the in_atomic() checks in place - to detect
whether in irq context (in which case preemption is always properly
disabled).
In contrast, preempt_disable() should never be used to disable pagefaults.
With !CONFIG_PREEMPT_COUNT, preempt_disable() doesn't modify the preempt
counter, and therefore the result of in_atomic() differs.
We validate that condition by using might_fault() checks when calling
might_sleep().
Therefore, add a comment to faulthandler_disabled(), describing why this
is needed.
faulthandler_disabled() and pagefault_disable() are defined in
linux/uaccess.h, so let's properly add that include to all relevant files.

This patch factors out the search for a floating irq destination
VCPU as well as the kicking of the found VCPU. The search is optimized
in the following ways:
1. stopped VCPUs can't take any floating interrupts, so try to find an
operating one. We have to take care of the special case where all
VCPUs are stopped and we don't have any valid destination.
2. use online_vcpus, not KVM_MAX_VCPU. This speeds up the search
especially if KVM_MAX_VCPU is increased one day. As these VCPU
objects are initialized prior to increasing online_vcpus, we can be
sure that they exist.

Commit ea5f496925 ("KVM: s390: only one external call may be pending
at a time") introduced a bug on machines that don't have SIGP
interpretation facility installed.
The injection of an external call will now always fail with -EBUSY
(if none is already pending).
This leads to the following symptoms:
- An external call will be injected but with the wrong "src cpu id",
as this id will not be remembered.
- The target vcpu will not be woken up, therefore the guest will hang if
it cannot deal with unexpected failures of the SIGP EXTERNAL CALL
instruction.
- If an external call is already pending, -EBUSY will not be reported.

Several kvm architectures disable interrupts before kvm_guest_enter.
kvm_guest_enter then uses local_irq_save/restore to disable interrupts
again or for the first time. Lets provide underscore versions of
kvm_guest_{enter|exit} that assume being called locked.
kvm_guest_enter now disables interrupts for the full function and
thus we can remove the check for preemptible.
This patch then adopts s390/kvm to use local_irq_disable/enable calls
which are slighty cheaper that local_irq_save/restore and call these
new functions.

When compiling the kernel for GCOV (CONFIG_GCOV_KERNEL,-fprofile-arcs),
gcc allocates a lot of stack space because of the large switch statement
in bpf_jit_insn().
This leads to the following compile warning:
arch/s390/net/bpf_jit_comp.c: In function 'bpf_jit_prog':
arch/s390/net/bpf_jit_comp.c:1144:1: warning: frame size of
function 'bpf_jit_prog' is 12592 bytes which is more than
half the stack size. The dynamic check would not be reliable.
No check emitted for this function.
arch/s390/net/bpf_jit_comp.c:1144:1: warning: the frame size of 12504
bytes is larger than 1024 bytes [-Wframe-larger-than=]
And indead gcc allocates 12592 bytes of stack space:
# objdump -d arch/s390/net/bpf_jit_comp.o
...
0000000000000c60 <bpf_jit_prog>:

c6a: e3 f0 fe d0 fc 71 lay %r15,-12592(%r15)
As a workaround of that problem we now define bpf_jit_insn() as
noinline which then reduces the stack space.

The s390x ALU64_DIV/MOD has been implemented according to the eBPF
interpreter specification that used do_div(). This function does a 64-bit
by 32-bit divide. It turned out that this was wrong and now the interpreter
uses div64_u64_rem() for full 64-bit division.
So fix this and use full 64-bit division in the s390x eBPF backend code.

Replacing a 2K page table with a 4K page table while a VMA is active
for the affected memory region is fundamentally broken. Rip out the

control 'vm.allocate_pgste'. If the system control is set the page
tables for all processes are allocated as full 4K pages, even for
processes that do not need it.

Introduce KEXEC_CONTROL_MEMORY_GFP to allow the architecture code
to override the gfp flags of the allocation for the kexec control
page. The loop in kimage_alloc_normal_control_pages allocates pages
with GFP_KERNEL until a page is found that happens to have an
address smaller than the KEXEC_CONTROL_MEMORY_LIMIT. On systems
with a large memory size but a small KEXEC_CONTROL_MEMORY_LIMIT
the loop will keep allocating memory until the oom killer steps in.

There are a lot of embedded systems that run most or all of their
functionality in init, running as root:root. For these systems,
supporting multiple users is not necessary.
This patch adds a new symbol, CONFIG_MULTIUSER, that makes support for
non-root users, non-root groups, and capabilities optional. It is enabled
under CONFIG_EXPERT menu.
When this symbol is not defined, UID and GID are zero in any possible case
and processes always have all capabilities.
The following syscalls are compiled out: setuid, setregid, setgid,
setreuid, setresuid, getresuid, setresgid, getresgid, setgroups,
getgroups, setfsuid, setfsgid, capget, capset.
Also, groups.c is compiled out completely.
In kernel/capability.c, capable function was moved in order to avoid
adding two ifdef blocks.
This change saves about 25 KB on a defconfig build. The most minimal
kernels have total text sizes in the high hundreds of kB rather than
low MB. (The 25k goes down a bit with allnoconfig, but not that much.
The kernel was booted in Qemu. All the common functionalities work.
Adding users/groups is not possible, failing with -ENOSYS.

The arch_randomize_brk() function is used on several architectures,
even those that don't support ET_DYN ASLR. To avoid bulky extern/#define
tricks, consolidate the support under CONFIG_ARCH_HAS_ELF_RANDOMIZE for
the architectures that support it, while still handling CONFIG_COMPAT_BRK.

This fixes the "offset2lib" weakness in ASLR for arm, arm64, mips,
powerpc, and x86. The problem is that if there is a leak of ASLR from
the executable (ET_DYN), it means a leak of shared library offset as
well (mmap), and vice versa. Further details and a PoC of this attack
is available here:
http://cybersecurity.upv.es/attacks/offset2lib/offset2lib.html
With this patch, a PIE linked executable (ET_DYN) has its own ASLR
region:

The change is to add a call the newly created arch_mmap_rnd() into the
ELF loader for handling ET_DYN ASLR in a separate region from mmap ASLR,
as was already done on s390. Removes CONFIG_BINFMT_ELF_RANDOMIZE_PIE,
which is no longer needed.

When an architecture fully supports randomizing the ELF load location,
a per-arch mmap_rnd() function is used to find a randomized mmap base.
In preparation for randomizing the location of ET_DYN binaries
separately from mmap, this renames and exports these functions as
arch_mmap_rnd(). Additionally introduces CONFIG_ARCH_HAS_ELF_RANDOMIZE
for describing this feature on architectures that support it
(which is a superset of ARCH_BINFMT_ELF_RANDOMIZE_PIE, since s390
already supports a separated ET_DYN ASLR from mmap ASLR without the
ARCH_BINFMT_ELF_RANDOMIZE_PIE logic).

of the TRACE_DEFINE_ENUM() macro that can be used by tracepoints.
Tracepoints have helper functions for the TP_printk() called
__print_symbolic() and __print_flags() that lets a numeric number be
displayed as a a human comprehensible text. What is placed in the
TP_printk() is also shown in the tracepoint format file such that
user space tools like perf and trace-cmd can parse the binary data
and express the values too. Unfortunately, the way the TRACE_EVENT()
macro works, anything placed in the TP_printk() will be shown pretty
much exactly as is. The problem arises when enums are used. That's
because unlike macros, enums will not be changed into their values
by the C pre-processor. Thus, the enum string is exported to the
format file, and this makes it useless for user space tools.
The TRACE_DEFINE_ENUM() solves this by converting the enum strings
in the TP_printk() format into their number, and that is what is
shown to user space. For example, the tracepoint tlb_flush currently
has this in its format file:
__print_symbolic(REC->reason,
{ TLB_FLUSH_ON_TASK_SWITCH, "flush on task switch" },
{ TLB_REMOTE_SHOOTDOWN, "remote shootdown" },
{ TLB_LOCAL_SHOOTDOWN, "local shootdown" },
{ TLB_LOCAL_MM_SHOOTDOWN, "local mm shootdown" })
After adding:
TRACE_DEFINE_ENUM(TLB_FLUSH_ON_TASK_SWITCH);
TRACE_DEFINE_ENUM(TLB_REMOTE_SHOOTDOWN);
TRACE_DEFINE_ENUM(TLB_LOCAL_SHOOTDOWN);
TRACE_DEFINE_ENUM(TLB_LOCAL_MM_SHOOTDOWN);
Its format file will contain this:
__print_symbolic(REC->reason,
{ 0, "flush on task switch" },
{ 1, "remote shootdown" },
{ 2, "local shootdown" },
{ 3, "local mm shootdown" })

Sebastian reported a crash caused by a jump label mismatch after resume.
This happens because we do not save the kernel text section during suspend
and therefore also do not restore it during resume, but use the kernel image
that restores the old system.
This means that after a suspend/resume cycle we lost all modifications done
to the kernel text section.
The reason for this is the pfn_is_nosave() function, which incorrectly
returns that read-only pages don't need to be saved. This is incorrect since
we mark the kernel text section read-only.
We still need to make sure to not save and restore pages contained within
NSS and DCSS segment.
To fix this add an extra case for the kernel text section and only save
those pages if they are not contained within an NSS segment.
Fixes the following crash (and the above bugs as well):
Jump label code mismatch at netif_receive_skb_internal+0x28/0xd0

Git commit d97d929f06 ("s390: move cacheinfo sysfs to generic cacheinfo
infrastructure") removed the general-instructions-extension availability
check before the ecag instruction is executed.
Without this check this may lead to crashes on machines without this facility.
Therefore add the check again where needed.

New code will require TRACE_SYSTEM to be a valid C variable name,
but some tracepoints have TRACE_SYSTEM with '-' and not '_', so
it can not be used. Instead, add a TRACE_SYSTEM_VAR that can
give the tracing infrastructure a unique name for the trace system.

drivers/net/usb/usbnet.c
include/linux/usb/usbnet.h
net/ipv4/tcp_ipv4.c
net/ipv6/tcp_ipv6.c
The TCP conflicts were overlapping changes. In 'net' we added a
READ_ONCE() to the socket cached RX route read, whilst in 'net-next'
Eric Dumazet touched the surrounding code dealing with how mini
sockets are handled.
With USB, it's a case of the same bug fix first going into net-next
and then I cherry picked it back into net.

This patch adds support to migrate vcpu interrupts. Two new vcpu ioctls
are added which get/set the complete status of pending interrupts in one
go. The ioctls are marked as available with the new capability
KVM_CAP_S390_IRQ_STATE.
We can not use a ONEREG, as the number of pending local interrupts is not
constant and depends on the number of CPUs.
To retrieve the interrupt state we add an ioctl KVM_S390_GET_IRQ_STATE.
Its input parameter is a pointer to a struct kvm_s390_irq_state which
has a buffer and length. For all currently pending interrupts, we copy
a struct kvm_s390_irq into the buffer and pass it to userspace.
To store interrupt state into a buffer provided by userspace, we add an
ioctl KVM_S390_SET_IRQ_STATE. It passes a struct kvm_s390_irq_state into
the kernel and injects all interrupts contained in the buffer.
