cfb353c0dc ath10k: add quiet mode support for QCA6174/QCA9377
To enable thermal throttling for QCA6174 and QCA9377,
implement gen_pdev_set_quiet_mode for them.
With this change, quiet period for QCA6174/QCA9377 can
be also set/get via debugfs.
Usage:
To set quiet period:
 echo <period> > /sys/kernel/debug/ieee80211/phyX/ath10k/quiet_period
To get the current quiet period:
 cat /sys/kernel/debug/ieee80211/phyX/ath10k/quiet_period

This change has been verified with
QCA6174 hw3.2(fw: WLAN_RM.4.4.1-00102-QCARMSWP-1).

60e1d0fb29 ath10k: support MAC address randomization in scan
The ath10k reports the random_mac_addr capability to upper layer
based on the service bit firmware reported. Driver sets the
spoofed flag in scan_ctrl_flag to firmware if upper layer has
enabled this feature in scan request.

Test with QCA6174 hw3.0 and firmware-6.bin_WLAN.RM.4.4.1-00102-QCARMSWP-1,
but QCA9377 is also affected.

cea19a6ce8 ath10k: add WMI_SERVICE_AVAILABLE_EVENT support
Add WMI_SERVICE_AVAILABLE_EVENT to extend WMI_SERVICE_READY_EVENT,
the 128bit service map in WMI_SERVICE_READY_EVENT is not enough
for firmware to notice new WLAN service to host driver. Hereby,
for thoese new WLAN service, firmware will notice host driver by

e98199a8c2 ath10k: enable QCA6174/QCA9377 to read the chip temperature
The firmware of QCA6174/QCA9377 already support the feature, just enable
it to be able to handle the get_temperature command and process the event.

You can read the temperature by using the hwmon interface,

cat /sys/class/ieee80211/phy*/device/hwmon/hwmon2/temp1_input

Verified with the following hardware and software combination,
QCA6174, only firmware-4.bin doesn't support this, otherwise all support.
QCA9377, all the firmwares upstreamed support this command

38a1390e02 ath10k: dma unmap mgmt tx buffer if wmi cmd send fails
WCN3990 sends mgmt frames by reference via WMI.
The host dma maps the mgmt frame and sends the physical
address to the firmware in the wmi command. Since the
dma mapping is done in the gen_mgmt_tx and if the wmi
command send fails, the corresponding mgmt frame is
not being dma unmapped.

Fix the missing dma unmapping of mgmt tx frame when
wmi command sending fails for mgmt tx by reference
via WMI. The already exisiting mgmt tx using copy by
value does not need such dma unmapping.
Add a separate wmi-tlv op for mgmt tx via ref, which
takes care of unmapping the dma address, in case of
wmi command sending failure.

229329ff34 ath10k: wmi: modify svc bitmap parsing for wcn3990
Due to the limitation of wmi tlv parsing logic, if there are
two parameters in a wmi event with same tlv tag, we can get only
the last value, as it overwrites the prev value of the same tlv tag.

The service ready event in wcn3990 contains two parameters of the
same tag UINT32, due to which the svc bitmap is overwritten with the
DBS support parameter.

Refactor the service ready event parsing to allow parsing two tlv
of the same tag UINT32 for wcn3990.

f6f64cfb96 ath10k: remove set/get_tsf ieee80211_ops
Neither of these did the right thing:

- get_tsf just returned 0
- set_tsf assumed a simple offset was applied against

Just remove them for now. We can reimplement set_tsf in
terms of TSF increment/decrement in the future if get_tsf
is ever supported by FW.

991adf71a6 ath10k: refactor phyerr event handlers
Existing phyerr event handlers directly uses phyerr header format
(ie, struct wmi_phyerr and struct wmi_phyerr_event) in the code
exactly on how firmware packs it. This is the problem in 10.4 fw
specific phyerr event handling where it uses different phyerror
header format. Before adding 10.4 specific handler, little bit of
refactor is done in existing phyerr handlers.

Two new abstracted structures (struct wmi_phyerr_ev_hdr_arg and
struct wmi_phyerr_ev_arg) are introduced to remove dependency of using
firmware specific header format in the code. So that firmware specific
phyerror handlers can populate values to abstracted structures and
the following code can use abstracted struct for further operation.

.pull_phyerr_hdr is added newly to pull common phyerr header info
like tsf, buf_len, number of phyerr packed. Existing .pull_phyerr
handler is changed and called to parse every sub phyerrs in the event.

Validated these refactoring on qca988x hw2.0 using fw 10.2.4 version.

c8ecfc1c33 ath10k: fix memory alloc failure in qca99x0 during wmi svc rdy event
Host memory required for firmware is allocated while handling
wmi service ready event. Right now, wmi service ready is handled
in tasklet context and it calls dma_alloc_coherent() with atomic
flag (GFP_ATOMIC) to allocate memory in host needed for firmware.
The problem is, dma_alloc_coherent() with GFP_ATOMIC fails in
the platform (at least in AP platform) where it has less atomic
pool memory (< 2mb). QCA99X0 requires around 2 MB of host memory
for one card, having additional QCA99X0 card in the same platform
will require similarly amount of memory. So, it's not guaranteed that
all the platform will have enough atomic memory pool.

Fix this issue, by handling wmi service ready event in workqueue
context and calling dma_alloc_coherent() with GFP_KERNEL. mac80211 work
queue will not be ready at the time of handling wmi service ready.
So, it can't be used to handle wmi service ready. Also, register work
gets scheduled during insmod in existing ath10k_wq and waits for
wmi service ready to completed. Both workqueue can't be used for
this purpose. New auxiliary workqueue is added to handle wmi service
ready.

ccec9038c7 ath10k: enable raw encap mode and software crypto engine
This patch enables raw Rx/Tx encap mode to support software based
crypto engine. This patch introduces a new module param 'cryptmode'.

 cryptmode:

acd0b27bb1 ath10k: fix per-vif queue locking
Whenever any vdev was supposed to be paused all Tx
queues were stopped (except offchannel) instead of
only these associated with the given vdev.

This caused subtle issues with
multi-channel/multi-vif scenarios, e.g.
authentication of station vif could sometimes fail
depending on fw tx pause request timing.

a03fee347c ath10k: enhance swba event handler to adapt different size tim bitmap
Due to 512 client support in 10.4 firmware, size of tim ie is going
to be slightly higher than non 10.4 firmware. So, size of tim_bitmap
what is carried in swba event from 10.4 firmware is bit higher.

The only bottle neck to reuse existing swba handler
ath10k_wmi_event_host_swba() for 10.4 is that code designed to deal
with fixed size tim bitmap(ie, tim_info[].tim_bitmap in wmi_swba_ev_arg).
This patch removes such size limitation and makes it more suitable
to handle swba event which has different size tim bitmap.

All existing swba event parsing functions are changed to adapt this
change. Actual support to handle 10.4 swba event is added in next patch.
Only preparation is made in this patch.

in non 10.4 firmware wmi mapping table as unsupported for wmi cmd

dbd3f9f37e ath10k: use scan burst for hw roc
This improves chances of getting onto a foreign
channel and thus makes P2P a bit more reliable.

Without scan burst it was possible for firmware to
not switch to foreign channel resulting in "failed
to switch to channel for roc scan" warning. This
would also effectively fail some offchan tx
requests and lead to P2P find/connect taking
longer. This could be observed when other vifs
were running/busy, e.g. with P2P GO.

039a0051ec ath10k: allocate fw resources for iface combinations
The number of 3 vdevs wasn't enough to handle the
worst case for interface combinations in practice.

wpa_supplicant may need up to 4 vifs to have 2
vifs actually connected, i.e. p2pdev + client + 2x
p2p (either p2p client or p2p go).

This fixes worst case warning:

Free vdev map is empty, no more interfaces allowed.

This keeps the ability to associate 32 stations in
AP mode at the cost of not being able to guarantee
that under all circumstances, i.e. some
combinations may consume additional fw peer
entries for internal purposes leaving less
resource for stations in AP mode.
