The usual mixed bunch. Particular good to see is the generic
touch screen driver. Will be interesting to see if this works
for other ADCs without major changes.
Core features
* Channel types
- New position relative channel type primarily for touch screen
sensors to feed the generic touchscreen driver.
New device support
* ad5586
- Add support for the AD5311R DAC.
* Generic touch screen driver as an IIO consumer.
- Note this is in input, but due to dependencies is coming through
the IIO tree.
- Specific support for this added to the at91-sama5d2 ADC.
- Various necessary DT bindings added.
Staging Drops
* ADIS16060 gyro
- A device with a very odd interface that was never cleanly supported.
It's now very difficult to get, so unlikely it'll ever be fixed up.
Cleanups and minor features and fixes
* core
- Fix y2038 timestamp issues now the core support is in place.
* 104-quad-8
- Provide some defines for magic numbers to help readability.
- Fix an off by one error in register selection
* ad7606
- Put in a missing function parameter name in a prototype.
* adis16023
- Use generic sign_extend function rather than local version.
* adis16240
- Use generic sign_extend funciton rather than local version.
* at91-sama5d2
- Drop dependency on HAS_DMA now this is handled elsewhere. Will
improve build test coverage.
- Add oversampling ratio control. Note there is a minor ABI change
here to increase the apparent depth to 14 bits so as to allow
for transparent provision of different oversampling ratios that
drop the actual bit depth to 13 or 12 bits.
* hx711
- Add a MAINTAINERS entry for this device.
* inv_mpu6050
- Replace the timestamp fifo 'special' code with generic timestamp
handling.
- Switch to using local store of timestamp divider rather than rate
as that is more helpful for accurate time measurement.
- Fix an unaligned access that didn't seem to be causing any trouble.

a software counter.
- New timestamping mechanism to deal with missed sample interrupts.
* stm32-adc

AD5311R is a single channel DAC with 10-bit precision and i2c interface.
The device includes a 2.5V internal reference which is enabled by default.
This device is similar to AD5691R/AD5692R/AD5693/AD5693R, the only
difference is that it has 10-bit precision.

The AD5681R/AD5682R/AD5683/AD5683R are a family of one channel DACs with
12-bit, 14-bit and 16-bit precision respectively. The devices have either
no built-in reference, or built-in 2.5V reference.
These devices are similar to AD5691R/AD5692R/AD5693/AD5693R except
with a few notable differences:
* they use the SPI interface instead of I2C
* in the write control register, DB18 and DB17 are used for setting the
power mode, while DB16 is the REF bit. This is why a new regmap type
was defined and checked accordingly.
* the shift register is 24 bits wide, the first four bits are the command
bits followed by the data bits. As the data comprises of 20-bit, 18-bit
or 16-bit input code, this means that 4 LSB bits are don't care. This is
why the data needs to be shifted on the left with four bits. Therefore,
AD5683_REGMAP is checked inside a switch case in the ad5686_spi_write()
function. On the other hand, similar devices such as AD5693R family,
have the 4 MSB command bits followed by 4 don't care bits.

In this patch restructures the existing ad5686 driver by adding a module
for SPI and a header file, while the baseline module deals with the
chip-logic.
This is a necessary step, as this driver should support in the future
similar devices which differ only in the type of interface used (I2C
instead of SPI).

The ISA_BUS_API Kconfig option enables the compilation of the ISA bus
driver. The ISA bus driver does not perform any hardware interaction,
and is instead just a thin layer of software abstraction to eliminate
boilerplate code common to ISA-style device drivers. Since ISA_BUS_API
has no dependencies and does not jeopardize the integrity of the system
when enabled, drivers should select it when the ISA bus driver
functionality is needed.

Also happened was a lot of IIO driver activity, and the typec USB code
moving out of staging to drivers/usb (same commits are in the USB tree

Overall, it's a wash, I think we added a few hundred more lines than
removed, but really only a few thousand were modified at all.
All of these have been in linux-next for a while. There might be a
merge issue with Al's vfs tree in the pi433 driver (take his changes,

Many source files in the tree are missing licensing information, which
makes it harder for compliance tools to determine the correct license.
By default all files without license information are under the default
license of the kernel, which is GPL version 2.
Update the files which contain no license information with the 'GPL-2.0'
SPDX license identifier. The SPDX identifier is a legally binding
shorthand, which can be used instead of the full boiler plate text.
This patch is based on work done by Thomas Gleixner and Kate Stewart and
Philippe Ombredanne.
How this work was done:
Patches were generated and checked against linux-4.14-rc6 for a subset of
the use cases:
- file had no licensing information it it.
- file was a */uapi/* one with no licensing information in it,
- file was a */uapi/* one with existing licensing information,
Further patches will be generated in subsequent months to fix up cases
where non-standard license headers were used, and references to license
had to be inferred by heuristics based on keywords.
The analysis to determine which SPDX License Identifier to be applied to
a file was done in a spreadsheet of side by side results from of the
output of two independent scanners (ScanCode & Windriver) producing SPDX
tag:value files created by Philippe Ombredanne. Philippe prepared the
base worksheet, and did an initial spot review of a few 1000 files.
The 4.13 kernel was the starting point of the analysis with 60,537 files
assessed. Kate Stewart did a file by file comparison of the scanner
results in the spreadsheet to determine which SPDX license identifier(s)
to be applied to the file. She confirmed any determination that was not
immediately clear with lawyers working with the Linux Foundation.
Criteria used to select files for SPDX license identifier tagging was:
- Files considered eligible had to be source code files.
- Make and config files were included as candidates if they contained >5
lines of source
- File already had some variant of a license header in it (even if <5
lines).
All documentation files were explicitly excluded.
The following heuristics were used to determine which SPDX license
identifiers to apply.
- when both scanners couldn't find any license traces, file was
considered to have no license information in it, and the top level
COPYING file license applied.
For non */uapi/* files that summary was:
SPDX license identifier # files
---------------------------------------------------|-------
GPL-2.0 11139
and resulted in the first patch in this series.
If that file was a */uapi/* path one, it was "GPL-2.0 WITH
Linux-syscall-note" otherwise it was "GPL-2.0". Results of that was:
SPDX license identifier # files
---------------------------------------------------|-------
GPL-2.0 WITH Linux-syscall-note 930
and resulted in the second patch in this series.
- if a file had some form of licensing information in it, and was one
of the */uapi/* ones, it was denoted with the Linux-syscall-note if
any GPL family license was found in the file or had no licensing in
it (per prior point). Results summary:
SPDX license identifier # files
---------------------------------------------------|------
GPL-2.0 WITH Linux-syscall-note 270
GPL-2.0+ WITH Linux-syscall-note 169
((GPL-2.0 WITH Linux-syscall-note) OR BSD-2-Clause) 21
((GPL-2.0 WITH Linux-syscall-note) OR BSD-3-Clause) 17
LGPL-2.1+ WITH Linux-syscall-note 15
GPL-1.0+ WITH Linux-syscall-note 14
((GPL-2.0+ WITH Linux-syscall-note) OR BSD-3-Clause) 5
LGPL-2.0+ WITH Linux-syscall-note 4
LGPL-2.1 WITH Linux-syscall-note 3
((GPL-2.0 WITH Linux-syscall-note) OR MIT) 3
((GPL-2.0 WITH Linux-syscall-note) AND MIT) 1
and that resulted in the third patch in this series.
- when the two scanners agreed on the detected license(s), that became
the concluded license(s).
- when there was disagreement between the two scanners (one detected a
license but the other didn't, or they both detected different
licenses) a manual inspection of the file occurred.
- In most cases a manual inspection of the information in the file
resulted in a clear resolution of the license that should apply (and
which scanner probably needed to revisit its heuristics).
- When it was not immediately clear, the license identifier was
confirmed with lawyers working with the Linux Foundation.
- If there was any question as to the appropriate license identifier,
the file was flagged for further research and to be revisited later
in time.
In total, over 70 hours of logged manual review was done on the
spreadsheet to determine the SPDX license identifiers to apply to the
source files by Kate, Philippe, Thomas and, in some cases, confirmation
by lawyers working with the Linux Foundation.
Kate also obtained a third independent scan of the 4.13 code base from
FOSSology, and compared selected files where the other two scanners
disagreed against that SPDX file, to see if there was new insights. The
Windriver scanner is based on an older version of FOSSology in part, so
they are related.
Thomas did random spot checks in about 500 files from the spreadsheets
for the uapi headers and agreed with SPDX license identifier in the
files he inspected. For the non-uapi files Thomas did random spot checks
in about 15000 files.
In initial set of patches against 4.14-rc6, 3 files were found to have
copy/paste license identifier errors, and have been fixed to reflect the
correct identifier.
Additionally Philippe spent 10 hours this week doing a detailed manual
inspection and review of the 12,461 patched files from the initial patch
version early this week with:
- a full scancode scan run, collecting the matched texts, detected
license ids and scores
- reviewing anything where there was a license detected (about 500+
files) to ensure that the applied SPDX license was correct
- reviewing anything where there was no detection but the patch license
was not GPL-2.0 WITH Linux-syscall-note to ensure that the applied
SPDX license was correct
This produced a worksheet with 20 files needing minor correction. This
worksheet was then exported into 3 different .csv files for the
different types of files to be modified.
These .csv files were then reviewed by Greg. Thomas wrote a script to
parse the csv files and add the proper SPDX tag to the file, in the
format that the file expected. This script was further refined by Greg
based on the output to detect more types of files automatically and to
distinguish between header and source .c files (which need different
comment types.) Finally Greg ran the script using the .csv files to
generate the patches.

The two properties unique to each supported chip, resolution and number
of channels, are currently gleaned from the chip's name.
E.g. dac102s085 is a dual channel 10-bit DAC.
^^^
This was deemed unmaintainable by the subsystem maintainer once the
driver is extended to support further chips, hence it was requested
to add an explicit table for chip-specific information and use an
enum to reference into it.
This adds 17 LoC without any immediate gain, so make the change in a
separate commit which can be reverted if we determine in 10 years that
it was unnecessary.

The DACrrcS085 (rr = 08/10/12, c = 2/4) family of SPI DACs was
inherited by TI when they acquired National Semiconductor in 2011.
This driver was developed for and tested with the DAC082S085 built into
the Revolution Pi by KUNBUS, but should work with any of the other
chips as they share the same programming interface.
There is also a family of I2C DACs with just a single channel called
DACrr1C08x (rr = 08/10/12, x = 1/5). Their programming interface is
very similar and it should be possible to extend the driver for these
chips with moderate effort. Alternatively they could be integrated into
ad5446.c. (The AD5301/AD5311/AD5321 use different power-down modes but
otherwise appear to be comparable.)
Furthermore there is a family of 8-channel DACs called DACrr8S085
(rr = 08/10/12) as well as two 16-bit DACs called DAC161Sxxx
(xxx = 055/997). These are more complicated devices with support for
daisy-chaining and the ability to power down each channel separately.
They could either be handled by a separate driver or integrated into the
present driver with a larger effort.

The Texas Instruments DAC7512 has the exact same pinout, programming
interface and power-down modes as the Texas Instruments DAC121S101 and
Analog Devices AD5320, which are already supported by the IIO driver
ad5446.c. Remove the duplicate misc driver.
This requires user space to migrate to the standardized IIO sysfs ABI.
(In other words, it needs to change a filename.)
The IIO driver supports the chip's features more fully, e.g. the ability
to power down the output or choose one of the available powerdown modes.
There is an oddity with the misc driver in that it initializes the SPI
slave to SPI_MODE_0, in contradiction to the datasheet which specifies
that data is latched in on the falling edge, implying that SPI_MODE_1
or SPI_MODE_2 must be used. Another oddity is that Kconfig and the
MODULE_DESCRIPTION() claim the chip has 16-bit resolution although it
actually has 12-bit.

The Linear Technology LTC2631, LTC2633 and LTC2635 are very similar
to the AD5064 device, in particular the LTC2627.
This patch adds support for those devices. Only the LTC2633 has been
tested, which is the 2-channel variant. The LTC2631 is the 1-channel,
and the LTC2635 the 4-channel version. The actual DAC resolution depends
on the exact chip type and can be 12, 10 or 8 bits, using the upper bits
so this has no effect on the register map. The internal reference is set
to 2.5V on "L" versions, and it's 4.096V for "H" versions.

Merge tag 'hwparam-20170420' of git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/dhowells/linux-fs
Pull hw lockdown support from David Howells:
"Annotation of module parameters that configure hardware resources
including ioports, iomem addresses, irq lines and dma channels.
This allows a future patch to prohibit the use of such module
parameters to prevent that hardware from being abused to gain access
to the running kernel image as part of locking the kernel down under
UEFI secure boot conditions.
Annotations are made by changing:
module_param(n, t, p)
module_param_named(n, v, t, p)
module_param_array(n, t, m, p)
to:
module_param_hw(n, t, hwtype, p)
module_param_hw_named(n, v, t, hwtype, p)
module_param_hw_array(n, t, hwtype, m, p)
where the module parameter refers to a hardware setting
hwtype specifies the type of the resource being configured. This can
be one of:
ioport Module parameter configures an I/O port
iomem Module parameter configures an I/O mem address
ioport_or_iomem Module parameter could be either (runtime set)
irq Module parameter configures an I/O port
dma Module parameter configures a DMA channel
dma_addr Module parameter configures a DMA buffer address
other Module parameter configures some other value
Note that the hwtype is compile checked, but not currently stored (the
lockdown code probably won't require it). It is, however, there for
future use.
A bonus is that the hwtype can also be used for grepping.
The intention is for the kernel to ignore or reject attempts to set
annotated module parameters if lockdown is enabled. This applies to
options passed on the boot command line, passed to insmod/modprobe or
direct twiddling in /sys/module/ parameter files.
The module initialisation then needs to handle the parameter not being
set, by (1) giving an error, (2) probing for a value or (3) using a
reasonable default.
What I can't do is just reject a module out of hand because it may
take a hardware setting in the module parameters. Some important
modules, some ipmi stuff for instance, both probe for hardware and
allow hardware to be manually specified; if the driver is aborts with
any error, you don't get any ipmi hardware.
Further, trying to do this entirely in the module initialisation code
doesn't protect against sysfs twiddling.
[!] Note that in and of itself, this series of patches should have no
effect on the the size of the kernel or code execution - that is
left to a patch in the next series to effect. It does mark
annotated kernel parameters with a KERNEL_PARAM_FL_HWPARAM flag in
an already existing field"

When the kernel is running in secure boot mode, we lock down the kernel to
prevent userspace from modifying the running kernel image. Whilst this
includes prohibiting access to things like /dev/mem, it must also prevent
access by means of configuring driver modules in such a way as to cause a
device to access or modify the kernel image.
To this end, annotate module_param* statements that refer to hardware
configuration and indicate for future reference what type of parameter they
specify. The parameter parser in the core sees this information and can
skip such parameters with an error message if the kernel is locked down.
The module initialisation then runs as normal, but just sees whatever the
default values for those parameters is.
Note that we do still need to do the module initialisation because some
drivers have viable defaults set in case parameters aren't specified and
some drivers support automatic configuration (e.g. PNP or PCI) in addition
to manually coded parameters.
This patch annotates drivers in drivers/iio/.

Add support for STMicroelectronics STM32 DAC. It's a 12-bit, voltage
output digital-to-analog converter. It has two output channels, each
with its own converter.
It supports 8 bits or 12bits left/right aligned data format. Only
12bits right-aligned is used here. It has built-in noise or
triangle waveform generator, and supports external triggers for
conversions.
Each channel can be used independently, with separate trigger, then
separate IIO devices are used to handle this. Core driver is intended
to share common resources such as clock, reset, reference voltage and
registers.

The driver doesn't have a struct of_device_id table but supported devices
are registered via Device Trees. This is working on the assumption that a
I2C device registered via OF will always match a legacy I2C device ID and
that the MODALIAS reported will always be of the form i2c:<device>.
But this could change in the future so the correct approach is to have an
OF device ID table if the devices are registered via OF.

The Apex Embedded Systems STX104 features 16 channels of single-ended (8
channels of true differential) 16-bit analog input. Differential input
configuration may be selected via a physical jumper on the device.
Similarly, input polarity (unipolar/bipolar) is configured via a
physical jumper on the device.
Input gain selection is available to the user via software, thus
allowing eight possible input ranges: +-10V, +-5V, +-2.5V, +-1.25V,
0 to 10V, 0 to 5V, 0 to 2.5V, and 0 to 1.25V. Four input gain
configurations are supported: x1, x2, x4, and x8.
This ADC resolution is 16-bits (1/65536 of full scale). Analog input
samples are taken on software trigger; neither FIFO sampling nor
interrupt triggering is supported by this driver.
The Apex Embedded Systems STX104 is primarily an analog-to-digital
converter device. The STX104 IIO driver was initially placed in the DAC
directory because only the DAC portion of the STX104 was supported at
the time. Now that ADC support has been added to the STX104 IIO driver,
the driver should be moved to the more appropriate ADC directory.

A slightly bumper set due to travel delaying the pull request and a fair few
issues with the recent merge window patches. Patches all over the place.
The st-sensors one is probably the most involved, but definitly solves the
issues seen. Note there are some other issues around that handler
(and the fact that a lot of boards tie a level interrupt chip to an
edge interrupt only irq chip). These are not regressions however, so
will turn up the slow route.
* core
- iio_trigger_attach_pollfunc had some really badly wrong error handling.
Another nasty triggered whilst chasing down issues with the st sensors
rework below.
* ad5592r
- fix an off by one error when allocating channels.
* am2315
- a stray mutex unlock before we ever take the lock.
* apds9960
- missing a parent in the driver model (which should be the i2c device).
Result is it doesn't turn up under /sys/bus/i2c/devices which some
userspace code uses for repeatable device identification.
* as3935
- ABI usage bug which meant a processed value was reported as raw. Now
reporting scale as well to ensure userspace has the info it needs.
- Don't return processed value via the buffer - it doesn't conform to
the ABI and will overflow in some cases.
- Fix a wrongly sized buffer which would overflow trashing part of the
stack. Also move it onto the heap as part of the fix.
* bh1780
- a missing return after write in debugfs lead to an incorrect read and
a null pointer dereference.
- dereferencing the wrong pointer in suspend and resume leading to
unpredictable results.
- assign a static name to avoid accidentally ending up with no name if
loaded via device tree.
* bmi160
- output data rate for the accelerometer was incorrectly reported. Fix it.
- writing the output data rate was also wrong due to reverse parameters.
* bmp280
- error message for wrong chip ID gave the wrong expected value.
* hdc100x
- mask for writing the integration time was wrong allowin g us to get
'stuck' in a particular value with no way back.
- temperature reported in celsius rather than millicelsius as per the
ABI.
- Get rid of some incorrect data shifting which lead to readings being
rather incorrect.
* max44000
- drop scale attribute for proximity as it is an unscaled value (depends
on what is in range rather than anything knowable at the detector).
* st-pressure
- ABI compliance fixes - units were wrong.
* st-sensors
- We introduced some nasty issues with the recent switch over to a
a somewhat threaded handler in that we broke using a software trigger
with these devices. Now do it properly. It's a larger patch than ideal
for a fix, but the logic is straight forward.
- Make sure the trigger is initialized before requesting the interrupt.
This matters now the interrupt can be shared. Before it was ugly and wrong
but short of flakey hardware could not be triggered.
- Hammer down the dataready pin at boot - otherwise with really
unlucky timing things could get interestingly wedged requiring a hard power
down of the chip.

Here's the big staging and iio driver update for 4.7-rc1.
I think we almost broke even with this release, only adding a few more
lines than we removed, which isn't bad overall given that there's a
bunch of new iio drivers added. The Lustre developers seem to have
woken up from their sleep and have been doing a great job in cleaning up
the code and pruning unused or old cruft, the filesystem is almost
readable :)
Other than that, just a lot of basic coding style cleanups in the churn.
All have been in linux-next for a while with no reported issues.

special in module init/exit. This patch eliminates the module init/exit
boilerplate code by utilizing the module_isa_driver macro.
Additionally, the max_num_isa_dev macro is utilized to simplify the
determination of maximum possible STX104 devices in the system.

New Device Support
* Apex stx104 DAC

* ADI ad5064
- Add support for ad5625, ad5627, ad5645, ad5665, ad5667 DACs.
- Add support for Linear Technology ltc2606, ltc2607, ltc2609, ltc2616,
ltc2617, ltc2619, ltc2626, ltc2627 and ltc2629.
* ADI ad7192
- add support for the ad7193
* Invensense mpu6050
- substantial rework of driver to use regmap allowing SPI support extending
the now split driver to cover the MPU6000.
* TI adc0832
- new driver supporting ADC0831, ADC0832, ADC0834 and ADC0838 ADCs.
* TI ads1015
- new driver, note that there is an existing hwmon driver. The long term
intention is to probably remove the hwmon driver but for now we just have
guards in place to ensure this driver is not built if that one is enabled.
* TI afe4403
- new driver for this heart rate monitor / pulse oximeter front end chip.
* TI afe4404
- new driver for this heart rate monitor / pulse oximeter front end chip.
Staging Graduations
* mxs-lradc
- A combined general purpose and touch screen (input) device driver.
Originally held in staging to allow reworking into and MFD but as
that wasn't happening and isn't an absolute requirement we are moving
it out of staging.
Driver new features
* ms5611
- triggered buffer support
- IIO_CHAN_INFO_SCALE to aid the triggered buffer support.
Driver cleanups / reworks / fixes
* ad5064
- Use an enum for the register map layout to allow support of additional
chips (precursor to the new support listed above).
- Structural driver changes to allow support of the slightly different
handling for the ltc parts above.
* ad5933
- drop an exceptional & unnecessary for a function pointer.
* ad7606
- Cleanup the repeated copies of pm ops.
- consolidate the various channels specs via a sport of rearranging so only
one version is needed.
* atlas ph sensor
- add select IRQ_WORK
* hmc8543 (soon to move out of staging)
- Comment style fixes
- functionality of suspend and resume was swapped.
* spear-adc
- use devm_clk_dev instead of managing the clk lifetime by hand.
Core
* Use new dmaengine_terminate_sync call to avoid a theoretical race.
* Fix docs for mlock in struct iio_dev as it is correctly taken in some
drivers (docs used to say for core only).
* Add a helper function for calculating the scan index storage size within
the core cutting out some cut and paste versions of the same code.

- Add support for ad5625, ad5627, ad5645, ad5665, ad5667 DACs.
- Add support for Linear Technology ltc2606, ltc2607, ltc2609, ltc2616,
ltc2617, ltc2619, ltc2626, ltc2627 and ltc2629.
* ADI ad7192
- add support for the ad7193
* Invensense mpu6050
- substantial rework of driver to use regmap allowing SPI support extending
the now split driver to cover the MPU6000.
* TI adc0832
- new driver supporting ADC0831, ADC0832, ADC0834 and ADC0838 ADCs.
* TI ads1015
- new driver, note that there is an existing hwmon driver. The long term
intention is to probably remove the hwmon driver but for now we just have
guards in place to ensure this driver is not built if that one is enabled.
* TI afe4403
- new driver for this heart rate monitor / pulse oximeter front end chip.
* TI afe4404
- new driver for this heart rate monitor / pulse oximeter front end chip.
Staging Graduations
* mxs-lradc
- A combined general purpose and touch screen (input) device driver.
Originally held in staging to allow reworking into and MFD but as
that wasn't happening and isn't an absolute requirement we are moving
it out of staging.
Driver new features
* ms5611
- triggered buffer support
- IIO_CHAN_INFO_SCALE to aid the triggered buffer support.
Driver cleanups / reworks / fixes
* ad5064
- Use an enum for the register map layout to allow support of additional
chips (precursor to the new support listed above).
- Structural driver changes to allow support of the slightly different
handling for the ltc parts above.
* ad5933
- drop an exceptional & unnecessary for a function pointer.
* ad7606
- Cleanup the repeated copies of pm ops.
- consolidate the various channels specs via a sport of rearranging so only
one version is needed.
* atlas ph sensor
- add select IRQ_WORK
* hmc8543 (soon to move out of staging)
- Comment style fixes
- functionality of suspend and resume was swapped.
* spear-adc
The Apex Embedded Systems STX104 is a 16-channel 16-bit analog input and
2-channel 16-bit analog output PC/104 card. The STX104 incorporates a
large one mega-sample FIFO.
This driver provides IIO support for the 2-channel DAC on the STX104.
The base port addresses for the devices may be configured via the "base"
module parameter array.

The AD5625/AD5645/AD5665 are a family of 4 channel DACs with 12-bit, 14-bit
and 16-bit precision respectively. The devices come in 3 flavors in terms
of built-in reference, either no built-in reference, built-in 1.25V
reference or built-in 2.5V reference.
The AD5627/AD5647/AD5667 are similar to the AD5625/AD5645/AD5665 except
that they have 2 instead of 4 channels.
While these new devices are mostly register map compatible with the
existing devices support by the driver some offsets and register addresses
have been shuffled around. To accommodate this introduce a new register map
layout. For the lack of a better name we will just call it version 2.

Currently the ad5064 only supports two different register map variations
and this is represented by a bool. This patch changes since to a enum so
we can support more variations in the future.

This patch makes minor structural changes to support specifics
for LTC2617 DAC. This DAC requires different handling of the
power down modes. The configuration to actually support the
DAC will be submitted in a secondary patch.
Adjust the DECLARE_AD5064_CHANNELS() macro to accept a new
ext_info parameter. This allows to use different power down
modes per DAC. (e.g. DAC only support 90kohm to ground)
Add the chip_info parameter "powerdown_ltc". This parameter is
used in the ad5064_sync_powerdown_mode() function to handle the
power down command for LTC diffently. For those devices the
power down command must be addressed to the channel.

ad5761 is a 1-channel DAC with configurable output range.
The driver uses the regulator interface for its voltage ref.
It shares its register layout with ad5761r, ad5721 and ad5721r.
Differences:
ad5761* are 16 bit, ad5721* are 12 bits.
ad57*1r have an internal reference.

MCP4726 is a single channel 12-bit DAC. We can support MCP4726 with
a little changes to mcp4725 driver. In power-down mode, they have
different selection of VOUT pull-down registers.
MCP4726 also has features:
- Output gain options: 1x, 2x
- Voltage reference selection: VDD, VREF (Unbuffered or Buffered)
But these are not supported in this change. (1x gain, VDD is selected)

The ad5629/ad5669 are the I2C variant of the ad5628/ad5668, which has a SPI
interface. They are mostly identical with the exception that the shift
factor is different. Currently the driver does not take care of this
difference which leads to incorrect DAC output values.
Fix this by introducing a custom channel spec for the ad5629/ad5669 with
the correct shift factor.
